Getting the right hotel for our vacation is one of the most difficult

parts of planning the vacation. Booking hotel in advance is very important. First of all, you need to decide your budget for a hotel room. Next, you need to consider your specific requirements of the features of a hotel. Finally, after you have found the most suitable hotel, it is wiser to purchase a package of services than to buy services separately.

Part B Writing

Sections: In Part B, you are going to write an email and an essay as required.

1. An Email

You are Director of Logistics at a petroleum services company. You

have been in touch with a food catering company for your oilfield staff in an oilfield in Nigeria.

Please write an email to Alan Johnson, Managing Director of the

catering company.

Your email should have no less than 50 words and should:

Thank him for the information he has provided.

Make Two requests. e.g. the types of food preferred, etc.

Ask him to reply before a certain date.

2. An Essay

Look at the following line chart.

Then write an essay of no less than 120 words to first describe the

chart and then comment on the chart.

Your description and comment should include the following points: Comparing and contrasting of the information as evident from the chart; Brief remarks based on what the chart shows and what you already know.
