Handout一.什么是段落主题句因读写任务“写作内容”所列要点的顺序已具有内在的逻辑性,所以考生无需重新调整写作顺序,而按照试题所给内容要点顺序写作即可。

一般是每个写作要点安排为一个自然段,且将写作内容的每个要点作为各段的主题句,放在段首。

那么,什么是主题句呢?段落主题句,顾名思义,就是该句表达了支配全段的主导思想(controlling idea)。

这一主导思想是全段的核心,统帅全段,并决定全段的发展方向。

全段其它句子都是围绕着这些句子并对其进行说明、支持或扩展, 这些句子称作主题句;对其进行说明、支持或扩展的,这些句子称作“扩展句(supporting sentence)”。

主题句可以是一个词、一个短句,也可能是一个完整的句子。

主题句就好比是全段的纲。

只有写好了主题句,才可能做到“纲举目张”,写好全段文章。
