模具保护器(又称模具监视器或电子眼),模理特模具监视能在一个完整的成型周期内对所关心的模具型腔面进行两次拍照,即一检和二检,通常一检所选择的时机为型开刚刚完成,顶出动作还没有进行的时刻,这时的型腔多附有刚成型出的产品,即有品腔,这时间拍照通常会检出所成型的产品是否不良,是否有留定模的产品;通常二检所选择的时机为顶出回退到位(不使用机械手时)或机械手已到安全区域且顶出回退到位,在合模动作还没有动作之前。

这时的模具型腔不含有成型品,即无品腔,这时拍照会检出是否有未脱落的制品,还能帮助判断镶件、顶杆和滑块的位置或状态是否正常。

当一检失败时,会有报警灯提示,又可以加入不顶出的连锁保护,当二检失败时,也有报警灯提示,并指示注塑机不准合模,这样就有效地保护了模具,避免不必要的损失。

在现代工业自动化生产中,涉及到各种各样的检验、生产监视及零件识别应用,例如零配件批量加工的尺寸检查,自动装配的完整性检查,电子装配线的元件自动定位,IC上的字符识别等。通常人眼无法连续、稳定地完成这些带有高度重复性和智能性的工作,其它物理量传感器也难有用武之地。由此人们开始考虑利用光电成像系统采集被控目标的图像,而后经计算机或专用的图像处理模块进行数字化处理,根据图像的像素分布、亮度和颜色等信息,来进行尺寸、形状、颜色等的判别。这样,就把计算机的快速性、可重复性,与人眼视觉的高度智能化和抽象能力相结合,由此产生了机器视觉的概念。

智觉模具监视系统支持同时检测多个模穴,每个检测区域均可设置不同的灵敏度及报警基数、警点大小、警点类型、从而可以精确地检查出模腔异常、脱模不良、嵌件错放、滑块移位和产品短射、产品飞边、粘附定模、顶针断留、顶退不良等各种问题。 模具保护器设置和操作非常简单易行。在架好相机、布好光源,通过IO线与注塑机开模完成及允许锁模、允许顶出及安全门联锁后,您可以直接点击一键设置按钮,通过软件的提示,一步步自动完成所有设置,最终自动进入检测状态,模具保护器自动开始运行。
架好光源,进行图像清晰度调整 :开启LED近红外照明电源及照耀角度, 调整镜头位置、光圈和焦距, 使图像大小、黑白、清晰度等都调整到合适程度。调整时,需要了解的是:镜头焦距越短,视野越大(例如 8mm 镜头的视野比 12mm 和 16mm 大),镜头焦距越长,物体被放大后观察的越清楚;镜头光圈越小,则景深越大, 物体的清晰范围越大,反之光圈越大,景深越小;镜头焦距越短,景深越大,焦距越长,景深越小。所以,调整时需要根据情况选择合适的镜头和光圈,调整光圈得到合适的景深范围,同时调整相机的增益和曝光时间,补偿得到合适的亮度。
检测注塑模具模腔穴中残留的材料或产品

打开箱子,取出佰万像素工业相机、镜头、磁力表座、主机控制器和触摸显示器、直流电源、连接线、近红外光源及支架。 主机控制器集成了视觉控制器、供电电源、数字I/O 输入输出、报警器等功能。在安装时要了解各部份大致功能,这样有利于正确、快速安装调试好。
注塑机旁边的活动支架上面是液晶显示屏和主机。主机连接相机和近红外光源,由12V电源供用器供电。

抓拍塑件:在开模完成,产品人工判定合格完整且未顶出的情形下,点击更新塑件按钮拍下塑件检测比对所属的标准图像,此标准图像预存于模具保护器中,以备日后所用。
抓拍模腔:在顶退完成,型芯到位,嵌件放妥,模腔正常,合模即将开始时,点击更新模腔按钮拍下标准模具图像。此标准模具图像,预存于模具保护器中,以备日后所用。

手动生成检测区域(ROI):点击新增ROI按钮,使用触摸笔把您想保护监视的重点区域圈画出来,圈画完成后,自动弹出ROI参数设置框,您可根据需要(或经验)对框中的参数进行相应设置,以便可靠进行检测监视。
系统参数:系数参数是模具保护器能否依您所愿正常工作的关键要素,在自动进行检测之前一定要做相应的设置,其中主要有功能及时间参数的设置。
