They are attached to the bottom of the rotary on the unit and travel up and down as the jack hydraulic cylinders are reciprocated.

This allows the rotation of the string in the pipe light mode. It gives the unit the ability to set tools requiring rotation manually while in the pipe light mode, or to perform drilling/milling operations in snub mode when coupled with a power swivel

ANNULAR PREVENTER 环形防喷器
This BOP provides the primary seal on the outside of the pipe during tripping operations. It incorporates a flexible elastomer element that can conform to virtually any shape including open hole in an emergency situation. The hydraulic system that operates this preventer is designed to allow very quick reaction times to changes in the pipe’s outer diameter, such as tool joints or collars. Although the hydraulic system has this ability, there are limits that the element can react too such as very large outer diameter (OD) changes or higher pressures. When these situations arise, it is necessary to incorporate the stripping rams mounted below the annular. This BOP has a pressure rating of 5000 psi (35 Mpa), and has a through bore of 7.062” (179 mm)

TOP STRIPPING RAMS 上闸板防喷器
This is a single gate BOP that is mounted within the structure of the unit directly below the annular preventer. The BOP is typically dressed with a special style of ram front that has very good wear characteristics. Unlike the annular preventer, the stripping rams will only seal on a specific size of pipe OD depending upon what the crew has dressed them for. These BOP's are of a very robust design, and in situations where the annular preventer is unable to safely contain the well pressure, the stripping rams provide the operator options for well control. 7.062” (179 mm) by 5000 psi (35 Mpa) is standard on most rig assist units.
