To sum up, the job interview is indeed important, but there is no need to be nervous. As long as the interviewee has the ability for the job, with careful preparation and a fairly confident and honest performance, his or her success can be ensured.
➢ Therefore, the job interview is very important to a job-hunter. But how can one succeed in it? Firstly of all, the interviewee must pay attention to his or her appearance. The first impression is always where we start. Get dressed properly and neatly. Secondly, good manners are equally important. Don’t be too proud, and neither too timid. Just be courteous. Thirdly, the interviewee must demonstrate his aptitude and skills for the job and his knowledge about eh job-related areas. Be confident. Last but not the least, the interviewee ought to be honest about his or her personal as well as academic background, for honesty is the best policy.

Parents should be the main solution to children’s lack of physical exercise. Clearly children are spending too many hours watching TV. Their lack of exercise could lead to health problems. If parents set a good example and take exercise with their children, it would seem a natural part of life. Parents can motivate their children to be active from an early age.

A contentious issue in American politics is whether or not to raise the gasoline tax. Many people support it because they believe it will help the economy. However, their beliefs are erroneous since raising the gas tax would definitely have negative effects on the economy. To begin with, an increase in the gas tax would disrupt the economy. Many people rely upon their cars to get to work. By raising the gas tax just a few percentage points, the government would be making people’s commutes to work cost more. In many cases, they cannot afford this extra expense. In addition, if people are spending more money on gasoline, then they will spend less money purchasing other products. Since the American economy runs on consumer spending, a decrease in spending could greatly damage the economy. Second of all, an increase in the gasoline tax would hurt those with low incomes. Naturally, it would make their gasoline more expensive, and these people simply do not have the money they would need to pay the tax. Also, since many people with low incomes live in areas with no public transportation, they might not be able to afford to go out or even make it to their workplaces. At best, they would suffer increased financial hardship.

Many 16 to 18-year-old teenagers can work in MacDonald’s. They can deliver newspapers. Some can even work in supermarkets. This is because these places have flexible hours for part-time workers. Students can work on weekends and over summer holidays.

First, in 1882, several decades after Austen's death, Austen's family gave permission to use the portrait as an illustration in an edition of her letters. Austen's family clearly recognized it as a portrait of the author. So, for over a century now, the Austen family itself has endorsed the claim that the girl in the portrait is Jane Austen. Second, the face in the portrait clearly resembles the one in Cassandra's sketch, which we know depicts Austen. Though somewhat amateurish, the sketch communicates definite details about Austen's face. Even though the Cassandra sketch is of an adult Jane Austen, the features are still similar to those of the teenage girl in the painting. The eyebrows, nose, mouth, and overall shape of the face are very much like those in the full-length portrait. Third, although the painting is unsigned and undated, there is evidence that it was painted when Austen was a teenager. The style links it to Ozias Humphrey, a society portrait painter who was the kind of professional the wealthy Austen family would hire. Humphrey was active in the late 1780s and early 1790s, exactly the period when JaneAusten was the age of the girl in the painting.

The lecture apparently reinforces the points illustrated in the reading material. According to the professor, ________________. Meanwhile, the reading contends a similar stand that_____. The first point the professor uses to enhance the reading is that___________, which is just the same as the statement in the reading that_____. Another evidence the speaker adopts to bolster the passage is________. Likewise, the reading states that_________.
Solution 1
Education
Reading
Nowadays, many universities are raising their students’ tuition. In some cases, the raises are quite substantial. While many students are not pleased with these increase, there are some legitimate reasons for the hikes. First, universities are constantly striving to upgrade their educational quality. Since fewer people are attending college these days, schools must fight for all the students they can get. One ideal way to attract students is to ensure that the school provides them with an outstanding education. Also, by increasing the school’s academic rank, the school will attract more students and better ones. Since it costs money to enhance the quality of education, the school’s budget must increase. Therefore, tuition must also go up.

Second, many universities are finding themselves short of cash these days. This is particularly true of state universities, which often depend upon the state for the majority of their budgets. Unfortunately, many states are cutting general funding to schools. Most particularly hard hit are the funds for the general management of the university. While not necessarily a glamorous job, it is crucial to the well-being of the school. Without sufficient general management funds, many schools would be facing serious problems, so they need to compensate for the lost funds in other ways. It is therefore obvious why schools are increasing tuition every year
