1 Introduce the topic:Welcome back to school. Stress:

Welcome.(欢迎)

2 review the letters:ABC etc.

Step Ⅱ Presentation

1 watch a video, self introduction(自我介绍)

The sentence patterns are Hi, I’m ... I’m from ...

And then lead out : UK USA ,China, Canada.

2. Use ppt to make explanation about these countries,to

help students know more about different areas.

Step Ⅲ Practice

1 show different peoples pictures: Let them to introduce

themselves.

2 listening practice: S: tell the countries words your

heard in the tape. (stress: Canada/ China)..

Step Ⅳ Consolidation and extension

1 listen the contents in P5. and repeat the contents you

heard .

2 Homework(家庭作业)

1. Read the new words .and write the words three times.

2. Make the nations flags, and use it to introduce

yourself.
