Apparently sensitive to criticism, the bull forgot all about the matador and charged at the drunk 能够判断,只有d. and attracted the bull’s attention 与课文的内容相符合,其他3个选择都与课文的事实不符。
a. he will,b. that he will, d. he may
只有c. he would 是过去将来时,最合乎语法,所以选c.5. d本句中的 let 后面只能跟宾语加不带to 的动词不定式(let sb. do sth.)才合乎语法. a. passing, b. to pass, c. in passing 都不能用在let 后面,只有d. pass 是不带to 的动词不定式,所以应该选d.6. b该句的谓语动词是(had come)过去完成时,需要选一个相对应的时间状语. a. Up till that time 和 d. ; c. So far(到当前为止)只能用于现在完成时.

Okay, let's dive into Lesson 70 of New Concept English, Book 2. This one's really interesting, so let's get started!First up, the dialogue between the two friends is so natural. They're talking about a trip to the seaside, and you can almost feel the sea breeze and hear the waves. The way they describe the scenery is just so vivid. Then, there's the part where they talk about booking tickets. One of them mentions using the Internet, and it's such a casual reference to modern technology. It's likethey're just having a normal conversation, but it's also showing us how the world has changed.Another cool thing is the way they talk about the weather. They're discussing whether it'll be sunny or rainy, and it just feels so real. Like, you know, when you're planning a trip, the weather is always a big concern.Oh, and did you notice how they slipped in some vocabulary practice? They used words like "seaside," "sunny," and "book tickets" in natural conversation. It's a great way to learn new words and phrases. And finally, the end of the lesson is just so upbeat. They're both excited about the trip, and you can feel their enthusiasm through the words. It's a great reminder that learning English can be fun and exciting, too!。

During a bullfight, a drunk suddenly wandered into the middle of the ring. The crowd began to shout, but the drunk was unaware of the danger. The bull was busy with the matador at the time, but it suddenly caught sight of the drunk who was shouting rude remarks and waving a red cap. Apparently sensitive to criticism, the bull forgot all about the matador and charged at the drunk. The crowd suddenly grew quiet. The drunk, however, seemed quite sure of himself. When the bull got close to him, he clumsily stepped aside to let it pass. The crowd broke into cheers and the drunk bowed. By this time, however, three men had come into the ring and they quickly draggedthe drunk to safety. Even the bull seemed to feel sorry for him, for it looked on sympatheticallyuntil the drunk was out of the way before once more turning its attention to the matador.【课文翻译】在一次斗牛时,一个醉汉突然溜达到斗牛场中间,人们开始大叫起来,但醉汉却没有意识到危险。

新概念英语第二册第70课:The person you see附原文及翻译原文:You are looking at the picture of a famous dog. His name was Balto. Balto lived 30 years ago in America. His home was in the city of Cleveland. In 1925, there was a diphtheria epidemic in this city. The doctors there did not have enough medicine to cure all the sick children. They decided to ask for help. They sent a message to Alaska, over 2,000 miles away. They asked for the help of the dogs that lived there. Balto led the team of dogs that carried the medicine to the sick children. They ran in relays day and night through a blizzard. They ran for 6 days and 7 nights. At last they reached the city of Nome in Alaska. At that time, diphtheria was a deadly disease. Many children died from it. But thanks to the dogs, the doctors were able to cure the sick children. Balto became a hero. A monument to him was erected in New York's Central Park.
