Minutes after the last movie ended yesterday at the Plaza Theater，employees were busy sweeping up popcorns and gathering coke cups．It was a scene that had been repeated many times in the theater's 75-year history．This time，however，the cleanup was a little different．As one group of workers carried out the rubbish，another group began removing seats and other theater equipment in preparation for the building's end．

The film classic The Last Picture Show was the last movie shown in the old theater．Though the movie is 30 years old，most of the 250 seats were filled with teary-eyed audience wanting to say good-bye to the old building．Theater owner Ed Bradford said he chose the movie because it seemed appropriate．The movie is set in a small town where the only movie theater is preparing to close down．Bradford said that large modern theaters in the city made it impossible for the Plaza to compete．He added that the theater's location（位置）was also a reason．"This used to be the center of town，"he said．"Now the area is mostly office buildings and warehouses．"

Last week some city officials suggested the city might be interested in turning the old theater into a museum and public meeting place．However，these plans were abandoned because of financial problems．Bradford sold the building and land to a local development firm，which plans to build a shopping complex on the land where the theater is located．

The theater audience said good-bye as Bradford locked the doors for the last time．After 75 years the Plaza Theater has shown its last movie．The theater will be missed．

超精读学习法——做题+精读+复习

一、做题

做题步骤：

1、标出段落序号

标出段落序号有利于定位；有利于快速在问题和文章之间进行对照查找；记忆锚固

2、阅读问题题干和答案大预测文章大意

题干和选项包含文章最核心内容和关键词，有助于快速切入文章

3、快速通读全文抓主旨

多借助首句尾句首段尾段以及转折处；首段最重要，英文写作逻辑喜欢开门见山

4、仔细审题返回原文

审题——定位——对比——选最佳

原则：通常一段考察一个问题，而且题目与文章同步（可做一题弃一段），综合题等跨段题目除外。审题：确定问题意思找出关键词

定位：根据关键词和问题意思返回原文定位

对比：将选项与原文进行对比看意思是否一致（通常正确答案为同义替换）

（利用定位对比加上同步原则可以排除某些本身正确但是不符合题干的无关正确项）

选最佳：对比四个选项后选择最适合的答案，在快速做题时经常会陷入最后二选一选错的情况，解决的方法就是利用问答最佳原则+主旨原则（同样利于排除隐晦的无关正确项）

做题技巧总结：

1、选项中关键词组原文重现多为干扰项，选项中同义替换多为正确项

2、不能凭印象和记忆做题，每个选项必须与文章相应语句对比分析

3、中心原则——主旨串联整个文章和解题（以电影院被拆掉串24-27正确选项）

4、做完题后多站在出题人角度去思考，选项的陷阱在哪里，陷阱总是越思考越容易迈过。

5、每次阅读时定时训练，做题要有训练思维，总结每次的思维方式和错因，不断优化

二、精读

1、生词积累

knock down 推到、撞到、建筑物的拆毁

part with 和….分离

as 随着

2、词组语句表达积累（将笔记做于原文以文章为载体诵读或默读复习）

比如文中1、5段as两句，as用法表伴随意为“随着”，经常出现。

三、复习

1、每次学完一篇文章以后在页面上方标注日期，定时复习（大致按艾宾浩斯），每次做新文章时复习前面学习过的文章和笔记。

2、复习重复比初学更重要，尤其是英语，语言要靠潜移默化
