Unlike at least 4 other victims, who had abdominal injuries in addition to a slash across the neck, she had no mutilations (损毁）beyond her slit throat. The murder of Stride shares similarities to the pattern of Ripper killings, such as date, time, type of site, characteristics of the victim and the method of murder. It is possible that the killer was interrupted before he had the opportunity to mutilate the body.
Catherine Eddowes 1888.9.30
Eddowes’ body was found threequarters of an hour after Stride's. The throat was severed , and the abdomen was ripped open by a long, deep, jagged wound. The left kidney and the major part of the uterus had been removed.

The whole of the surface of the abdomen and thighs was removed and the abdominal cavity （腹 腔）emptied of its viscera（内脏）. The breasts（乳房） were cut off, the arms mutilated by several jagged wounds and the face hacked beyond recognition of the features. The tissues of the neck were severed all round down to the bone.
The number of named suspects reached over one hundred. Even Winston Churchill’s father was once considered to be the killer . More ridiculously , some experts thought the murderer was a woman.
According to witnesses’ statement the policemen compounded this picture. But as is known to all , nobody knew who was the real criminal.

As in the case of Mary Ann Nichols, the throat was Leabharlann Baiduevered by two cuts. The abdomen was slashed entirely open, and it was later discovered that the uterus(子 宫） had been removed.
Jack the Ripper is the best-known name given to an unidentified serial killer who was active in the largely impoverished areas in and around the Whitechapel (白教 堂）district of London in 1888
