首先要从了解书开始。

这份来自美国某小学的1-5年级的推荐书单非常强大，几乎涵盖了经典的系列书，非常具有参考价值，建议收藏到朋友圈。

There are some simple ways to help your child select a book that is just right. Make sure that your child:（如何为孩子挑选合适的书籍）
Is interested in the book.
孩子是否喜欢被放在了选书的第一位，看来，这个还是非常重要的。

Can read and figure out almost all the words.
孩子能认出大部分的词汇。

即便有一些不认识，也可以通过上下文大概知道这个词汇是什么意思。

书籍最好不要超出孩子的阅读能力，或是太多的单词。

Understands the story and can tell you what it is about.
孩子能读懂这个故事，并可以将故事复述给父母听。

Can read smoothly. If your child is stumbling over words, he or she will not be able to focus on reading for understanding.
孩子可以较为流利的将故事读出来。

如果磕磕巴巴的，就会影响孩子在阅读的过程中理解故事的内容。
