User’s Manual

GOSPELL Digital Technology CO., Ltd.

This manual introduces the main technical specifications, structure and electric connecting features of GT-5900 UHF digital transmitter. Please check the equipment cell amounts and the status under the steps after careful reading, connect the equipment according to the demand and be sure to input the electric level, then finish the connection and use of equipment and system.

Part one, Installation and notes

1, Open box, check the transmitter parts based on the packing list and carefully read the instructions.

2, Check status of the equipment if there is any change during transport , such as mounting screws off, device is deformed or the appearance of scratches and other cable damage.

3, Connect the AC 380V power supply line correctly.

4, According to Figure 1, you should properly install the unit of the equipment in order.

5, Distinguish the definition of the various joints, according to the correct

connection method as Figure 4, to connect the cable, data cable, feed tube ,AC power line. Please pay particular attention to correspondence between

connecting cables while connecting power allocation, synthesis unit. Connect

feed tube should be paid attention to when double-quick holding clamp, double needle, elbow properly connected.

6. Check the cable, antenna or loader for any damage, the antenna and feeding

system should ensure a good VSWR, when connect the cable of the total power output device, because of its high hardness, not easy to bend, pay particular attention to the connection method between the cable and connector, do not put too much strength to joints.

7. To distinguish the lightning protection ground and the AC power supply ground

of the equipment’s power supply units. The ground of the arrester should be connected to special lightning protection ground, and It should not be connected to the lightning rod’s ground or near the lightning rod’s ground. The lightning protection ground must not be connected with the AC power ground to the same place.

8, Strengthen the rain, wind, lightning protection measures.

9, In order to ensure long-term stable work of the equipment, please make sure to use the AC stable power supply or UPS power to the device.

10, Be sure to make anti-static measures when you operate the equipment.

11, It requires to install the air conditioning in the equipment room, air cleaning, and environmental conditions should meet the technical requirements.

Part two, Equipment boot steps and notes

1.Check whether the power supply unit have invert the AC 380V into AC 220V.

2.Reaffirm the cable, the data cable, power cord, feed tube,output load of the

transmitter are connected correctly between each units.

3.Test whether the inputs signal level meets the requirements.

4.Confirm level to normal after, the input signal is joint meet IN the Pre-amplifier

unit UHF IN interface.

5.Open two amplifier unit, when the transmitter works, reference to the device

static status (without input signal status) test data, observe whether the static monitoring data of the monitoring unit shown in the power amplifier are normal or not.

6. Open the Pre-amplifier unit, and check whether all the value of dynamic data of

the monitoring unit is accordance with the user’s manual,check if the VSWR values meet the requirements, and check if the lights of the front panel are all green.

Notice: First the input signal access Pre-amplifier unit of input mouth again after the boot . When start the equipment, please firstly to start the two power amplifier units one by one, and then start the preamplifier unit. When you want to shutdown the equipment, please turn off the preamplifier unit first, then shut down two power amplifier units in turn.
