What is creativity? It is a simple yet complex question. Creativity is good thought, good idea, and shows its novelty, uniqueness. Here the "chuang" has the meaning of to be the first one, while the meaning of "yi" is new idea, originality. The

manifestation of creative packaging design is multifaceted, it can be expressed from packaging materials, packaging forms, packaging structure,also can be reflected from the packaging brand creative fonts, packaging graphics, packaging color, packaging layout and other specific sectors.

Preparation of creative packaging design : originality reflects a kind of innovation, which not only is the source of development of human society, but also the inexhaustible motive of progress of art, novelty of art and change of art. Packaging design services for business, in the face of a highly competitive market and discerning consumers, only innovative packaging has salas and attractiveness, thus captures the market and gains favour of consumers . Creativity is the soul of design, as well as the prerequisite of successful design.

Manifestation of creative packaging: packaging design is an indispensable part and external form of modern commodity. Creative packaging design is not only a beautiful coat for it to get access to market, it Is also an effective means of commodity to achieve its use value. Successful packaging design must include some creative elements.

However, creative packaging design is an creative activities which restrained by something (such as basic package size, shape, subjective opinions of customers , packaging costs, processing limitations, etc.).It is a long-term work for designers to explore how to obtain freedom in the restrains and make unlimited thinking under limited conditions.

Before making specific creative packaging, the first thing is to obtain full understanding of enterprises and their goods. Generally speaking, three aspects are included:

1、basic information of the market, such as the characteristics of the products in the market、its potentiality as well as competitors and so on;

2、basic information of consumer groups, such as age, income, educational levels and so on;

3、basic information of market related-products and their own products, (whether it is new product to launch the market or old product after packing ), including aspects of the brand image and awareness, favorability, trust, product price, quality, sales methods and so on.

The constant introduction of creative concept , greatly enhances packing design's commercial value, cultural value, social value, thus forming industry, leading its development. It not only promotes packing design, but also enhances the country's soft strength. It plays an important role in enhancing overall national strength. I believe the packaging design will be better and better.

Excellent ideas come from designer's keen market insight , positive thinking , accumulation of knowledge and experience. Creative packaging design is the key to success.
