书信一如你是李华,你和父母接出国留学的意见相悖,为此你感到很苦恼。请你就此给你的英国笔友Peter写信求助。内容如下:
1.你父母的观点:国外学习环境好,培养独立的能力等,

Dear Peter,
My parents have been wanting me to study abroad. They think it does me much good. Firstly, the destination they choose for me has a really superior learning environment. Secondly, studying abroad will enable me to be independent. Finally, it will be easier for me to learn advanced technology, which will prepare me for a brighter future.
However, I don't agree with them. I think my English is too poor to communicate with foreigners. So it will be hard for me to deal with the problems I’ll face. Besides, I’m afraid the high tuition fee will be a burden to my family.
I'll appreciate it if you could give me some advice on it. Please write to me as soon as possible.

Dear Peter,
Learning that you are having a hard time learning Chinese, I’m writing to offer some suggestions.
To begin with, don’t worry too much about it and trust yourself. As we know, Chinese is one of the most complex languages in the world, so it’s normal for learners to find it difficult in the beginning. Second, take every opportunity to practice speaking Chinese. A proverb goes that practice makes perfect. Besides, read books and watch TV programs in Chinese and make friends with Chinese native speakers, which provide you more chances to
use Chinese.
If you follow my advice,I am sure you will find pleasure in learning Chinese.
Yours truly,
Li Hua Dear Peter,
Glad to receive you letter but sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with Chinese learning. Actually, everyone has gray days. Hopefully, my suggestions can light you up.
First of all, believe in yourself because confidence is considered as the gateway to success. As long as you have it, you will overcome all the troubles on your way. Furthermore, it is a wise choice to read various kinds of masterpieces that are translated into modern Chinese. The reason why I think them well worth reading is that their stories are fantastic and can arouse your enthusiasm, which will surely be of great benefit to you. Once trapped in any question, you can take every chance to communicate with your teachers and classmates in Chinese. Last but not least, it is strongly advised to read Chinese newspapers or magazines, from which you will learn a lot.
I hope my suggestions will be of big help to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at any time.
Yours truly,
Li Hua
Dear Peter,
I've received your e-mail and I'm glad to give you some advice on how to learn Chinese. The problem you mention is common among Chinese learners. Follow my advice, and you will get out of the situation.
First of all, you should be confident. As we’ve found, successful language learners share quite a few characteristics; self-confidence, curiosity and willingness to experiment with different ways of learning. Besides, doing a lot of reading is necessary, and you can enlarge your vocabulary at t he same time. Most important of all, don’t miss every opportunity to communicate with others in Chinese, and don' t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you use it, the better you’ll master it!
Good luck in your Chinese study! Yours truly,
Li Hua
