欧美流行唱法训练(Popular singing training in Europe and
America)
Method
The core method of improving the range of singing success is to develop your head sounds (Head, Voice) and Voice (Mixed). For the most part there is no training people, will only use the chest (Chest Voice), the sound is the sound when we speak, so they can sing many songs not up, or at. For the country, most of JJ Lin, Jay Chou's songs, many people have been singing very hard.
Why? Because they don't mix their voices and their heads. Or
actually, but never digging!
First, the concepts of chest sounds, head sounds and mixed sounds
are introduced. (these concepts come from SLS, that is, speech level singing, the teaching idea of Seth Riggs Masters)
Voice (Chest): the voice of the thorax as the main resonant chamber. Ordinary people use this voice when they speak, and that's what everyone uses when they sing. For example, Andy Lau's song, most of the boys can be done alone with their voices. Most of the vocal cords, and even the whole vocal cord, are working when using chest sounds.
Voice (Mixed): the balanced involvement of the chest and head in sympathetic sounds. Used in an alto or treble area; the proportion of
vocal work is between the chest voice and the head voice. This voice can only be used freely by trained people.
Voice (Head): the head cavity (such as the nasal cavity, sphenoid sinus, etc.) as the main resonant cavity of the sound. Used in treble areas. When singing with the head, most of the vocal cords do not work.
It also requires training to use it freely. The soprano usually uses
these sounds when she sings. When we were kids, we were very naughty. When she was singing a female music teacher, she probably made a head call.
Note that the first sound is not really sound, falsetto. Falsetto is
a flat out of style to use tone.
The more scientific ways of singing are: the bass zone uses the
chest sound, the middle area uses the mixed sound, and the high area
uses the head sound. (excerpt from Brett Manning's Q&A)
train
The use of SLS scales and Arpeggios for various vocal exercises, the most important is to practice practice (lip vibrato, bubble lip) this exercise allows you to quickly through the chest voice and head voice, sound mixing zone. Train your mix and head in the shortest possible time.
The following excerpt of a network of articles, all the exercises
are summed up, there will be a detailed post to introduce how these exercises.
1. Warming up: silent humming. A lot of people will. Not hard, easy, coherent hum
2. Warm up: play bubble lips: close your mouth, put your index
fingers two or three cm away from the mouth of your mouth, gently push upward, then blow, slap your lips, and make a motor like sound. Use this bubble lip to blow scales. At high notes, if it is tight, bend it down so that you can reduce the amount of pressure.
There are many advantages to this exercise. You can relax your throat, relax your facial muscles, touch your vocal chords, reduce the pressure of your vocal chords, adjust your breath, and expand your vocal range.
3. Warm up: tongue trill. The one who hits will hit me and I can't
hit it. That's why it can't be explained...
4. Close practice: Nay Nay Nay. English nay word will help the vocal fold to close. Me FA do1 do1 do1 sing do do1 FA me do nay scale,
finished each round rise half tone to sing, sing to sound so far, then come back to sing. There are a lot of people (especially male voices) who use this practice to change the sound point and solve the problem of closing. Note that the sound depends on the front, the beginner should bring the focus of nasal sound, to change the sound point to help. After you've done it, adjust your voice back.
5. Open your throat: Mum, Mum, Mum. The English word "mum" can help reduce throat position. Sing a practice like. Note that with a little silly singing voice, help the inside of the mouth open. The text is hard to say. Please wait for an example
6. Sing the scale in No. Because the vowel of English no is
narrower, it can take the sound to the top.
A narrow vowel sounds to the head, while a wide vowel sounds to the chest. So keep your vowel narrow when singing high notes
7. Sing the scale with the Nuuh (anger) tone. In the above practice, narrow vowel sounds with it, and in this exercise is to practice the open vowel (the "ah" sound is to cross the vowels), it will become the chest voice is relatively heavy, and more for the popular Broadway style. Be careful not to scratch it at first. In the beginning, the "Nu" sound should keep the head sound, and then the vowel is hidden at the sound station. If you open it too early, your voice will break easily.
8. Practice vibrato with bubble lips. Use the bubble lip to hit do, MI, FA, do1, MI, FA, do, scales. In high notes, pitch the tone up and down in a pitch. Bubble lips guarantee the relaxation of the throat and face. No tremolo can be practiced like this.
9. Use the Yeah word to practice singing so so so (tremolo, drag a
few seconds) FA Mi RA do. in the long sound vibrato, without vibrato can artificially fibrillation, slowly training head can naturally
fibrillation (but not shake throat so far!)
10. Practice vibrato with Mum Mum Mum. Mum can reduce throat
position, this exercise with exercise 5, but out in the treble and add vibrato.
11. Practice head sound: sing so FA, me, RA, do scale in English Wee, from singing to low. The Wee word is a very heavy head sound.
When you sing wee in the treble, you will feel the whole head.
Singing in the bass wee makes the chest sound resonant with a nod. This
is very helpful for unifying the tone and making the sound concentrated
in penetration. If you can't sing wee, you can add a G tone in front of
it and change it into "Gwee". This will help to close the vocal cords
and enter the head sound
12. Sing "Mum" and then "Muh". Sing ah. The vowel sounds are easy to cross and become heavy. It is difficult to close the vocal cords when
the sound is switched on. But if you add the M sound in front, it will help you to sing the vowel. The purpose of this exercise is to
familiarize the students with the proper feeling of high notes on the ah.
13. A high pitched note with bubbles. Sing "m" sound with the sound
of air bubble, the slide above chest voice sound, or sound from sliding down the chest voice. Don't use falsetto, soprano vocal cords to close.
Note: press your finger at the junction of your jaw and neck,
swallow your saliva, and feel the muscles tense and move upward. It's
the act of swallowing when the throat is closed. Keep your fingers there, say a few words in a flat voice, and feel the muscles there are relaxed. That's the correct vocal state. When we make a sound, no matter how high or low it is, the throat should remain relaxed when talking. Use only
the force inside the larynx, not the force outside the larynx.
When doing bubble exercises, be sure to keep your fingers on your
chin and neck, and observe yourself to make sure you don't move there!!!。
