一、学情分析
1、本册书所面向的学生年龄段在14岁左右,特点是情感外露、
好动、好奇心强,接受新鲜事物能力较强,因为在他们小学
三年级就开始学习学英语,基础较好,对英语的学习兴趣很
高。

2、学习本module 前,学生在小学已经学过时间的表达法和基
本学科的英语单词,对这些有了初步了解。

学生也已具有询
问有关时间的知识,初步掌握了其中的基本用法。

在学习此
课前,学生会用简单的句子表达时间和学科,为本课学习打
下基础。

二、教材分析
本课内容是外研版初中英语教材第七模块的第一单元的听说
课,根据教纲要求,本单元要用1至2个课时。

本课教材中有
关时间和学科的英语表达,紧密结合实际,便以学生对概念的
理解。

三、教学目标:
To understand time expressions and identify school subjects.
To understand conversations about “a school day”.
To process information of time and school subjects in the listening.
To talk about one’s lessons with given information.
Key vocabulary:
o’clock half past art chemistry history about what about… start
Key structures:
It’s six o’clock. It’s half past six. We have English at eight o’clock. I like maths , I don’t like science.
Important and difficult point:
Time expressions.

四、教学策略
本节课型以听说为主,综合使用以下的方法:听说相结合,读写相结合,启发式教学和任务型教学法。

通过听说读写训练,增强对时间、学科的进一步了解,逐步掌握运用时间和学科相结合起来介绍自己学校生活的语言运用能力。

为了让课堂充满趣味和有意义,运用了多媒体,以及一些他们熟悉的图片和资料供学生学习。

同时通过游戏、竞赛、讨论等形式巩固词汇,交流信息,强化运用所学知识,同时在运用过程中发展语言的能力。

五、教学步骤
创设情境,引入新课
情境通过上英语课的具体时间来导入新课
The teacher come into the classroom and ask the students: What time is it now? Then help the students to say: It’s…o’clock
合作交流,探究新知
Step One:
T: (Show difficult pictures) Look at the pictures, what time is it?
Ask the students to tell the teacher the time. Learn and try to remember the new words: o’clock, half, past.
Step Two:
A game
The teacher shows a clock and ask the sentences to say it in English .The quickest one is the winner.
Step Three:
Books open, ask the students to listen and repeat the time in Activity 1.
Ask the students to repeat the time.
Then let the students do Activity 2 in their books, match the pictures whit the sentences

Step Four:
T: What’s the time now?
S: It’s…
T: Yes, it’s …We are having an English class. What other subjects do you have?
Learn different subjects: Chinese maths English art chemistry history science politics music computer and so on.
Read the new words together, especially the new ones: art, chemistry, history.
T: Now, w e’re having an English class, We have English at…(Repeat the sentences and ask the students to say the sentences.) We all know English. Do you know other subjects? (Show some pictures of the other subjects, and help the students to learn them.) We are having English now. And do you know what other lessons do we have this morning? When are the other lessons? (Lead the students to say: We have… at… )
Step Five
Ask the students to listen to a conversation, they are talking about their lessons. Listen and fill in the form. Do it individually, then check with some students. (Who get a right answer, he/she can get
a “”for his/her group.
Books open, read the conversation.
Practice in pairs.
Step Six:
Check the true sentences according to the form.
Check the answers. 2, 4, 5 are right.
Step Seven:
Do the exercise paper.
Step Eight:
Homework
Do the exercise in the workbook, and write a paper about “My school day”
