良好的教学情境是趣味教学法的重要支撑，主要是因为好的教学情境可以让学生真正摆脱传统教学模式的 约束，增强学生的创造力，让学生在丰富多彩强化学习兴趣，提高学习质量。在趣味教学的实施过程中， 教师要注意把学生带入到生动有趣的学习情境之中，帮助学生对抽象知识概念进行深刻理解，有效降低学 生的学习难度，帮助学生在情境当中得到真实而又深刻的情感体验。趣味教学情境的创设方法有很多，不 过不管选用哪种情境设计方法，都需要和学生本身的兴趣爱好以及学习规律保持一致。例如，在教学 “Happy new year”时，为了调动学生的学习情绪，促进趣味教学的开展，教师就可以根据本课主题给 学生营造一个趣味性节日场景，让学生事先准备过新年时要运用到的一些工具材料，并让学生装扮教室， 鼓励学生在这样的情境当中进行英语语言的表达。再如，在教学“Keep the water clean”时，教师就 可以利用多媒体课件给学生营造直观情景，让学生认真观看教师提供的环境，被污染的视频资料，也让学 生对比环境没有被污染之前的景象，通过直观情境调动学生的各个感官，提高学生的趣味学习效果。
