According to the range of section:
1.Full sections 2.Half-sections
An Half is drawn in a section and the other half as a regular exterior view
Half-sections are most often used with symmetrical pars. Notice: (1) The exterior and interior portions on the sectional view must be separated by a center line (2) Hidden lines are omitted unless they are essential to understand or dimension the object
The normal view is bordered with a break line. If the configuration is full and the contours is closed down, a break line can not drawing

An arrowhead with a letter to show the direction of projection The name of the view is the same letter. The partial view is bordered with a break line. If the contour of the feature to be drawn in partial view can easily be distinguished from the adjacent features,then full lines may be used as the border of the partial view.

The types of sectional views according to cutting manner
1. Single cutting plane 2. Offset section
1) The cutting planes in offset section are parallel to each other 2) Label (1) It should be identified the places of the cutting planes and it’s bends with short full line. (2) The name of cutting planes; (3) Two arrowheads to show the direction of projection (4) The name of the sectional view with the same letters 3) Notes for making an offset section (1) In an offset section, the position where two cutting planes intersect exist no edge. (2) Turning cutting planes can not pass through the contour line (3) It is not allowed to appear incomplete element on the drawing
