四川山川秀丽，物华天宝，人杰地灵，素有“天府之国”的美誉。地处中国西南和长江上游，幅员面积48.5万平方公里，人口8800万。

With long history, profound cultures, beautiful scenery and rich produce, Sichuan is reputed as “a land of abundance”.Located in Southwest China, on the upper reaches of Yangtze River，Sichuan province covers an area of 485,000 k㎡and has a population of more than 88 million.

自然资源得天独厚。水能资源可开发量1.1亿千瓦，是中国西部水电开发和西电东送的最大基地。
