General term for the total of the means and procedures is applied by the packaging economy to fulfill the task of packaging. Many terms: i.e. acknowledged package, permanent package, one-way package, export package, customary package, consumer package, storage package, multi-way package, multiuse package, standard package, sea-worthy package, transport package.

This is important because the item have to withstand a lot of handling between the factory and the consumer.
