Rings (inner & outer ring), washers (shaft & housing washer) The parts for the rolling elements on the rings are called raceways, the surface of these parts are called raceway surface. The raceway of ball bearings are also called the groove. Generally the inner ring and outer ring fit with shaft and housing respectively. The washer of thrust bearing are called shaft washer and housing washer respectively. 套圈（内外） 垫圈（轴圈座圈） 滚动体在套圈上滚动的部分成为滚道，其表面成为滚动面，球轴承 圈的滚道又叫做沟道。 一般来说，套圈的内外圈分别与轴和外壳配合。 推力轴承的垫圈分别称作轴圈和座圈。

Rolling elements are classified into two groups of balls and rollers. The rollers can be cylindrical rollers, needle rollers, taper rollers, spherical rollers etc. based on their shapes. 滚动体可以分为i球和滚子两大类，滚子根据其形状可分为圆柱滚子 滚针，锥形滚子，球面滚子等。 Cages: The cage encircles partially rolling elements so that a certain distance is kept in circumferential direction between them. The cages can be pressed cages, machined cages or plastic cages and so on. Compared with the full complement bearings without cages, bearings with cages have less friction and are suitable for rotation at a high speed. 保持架将滚动体部分包围，使其在圆周方向上保持一定距离。保持架有冲 钢板保持架，车制实体保持架和注塑保持架。和满装滚子轴承相比，带保 架的轴承摩擦阻力小，适合高速旋转。

Rolling bearings can be preloaded to produce a negative clearance and achieve greater rigidity.
