As we all know, Engine is the heart of the car and it plays a grate influence on mechanical machine. Now, I am going to give you an overview of Engine, then go on to tell you about the basic structure and finally I will talk to you about the Engine performance index. Simply speaking, engine is an energy conversion institution, upcoming gasoline or gas heat, through the gas cylinder in seal burning, to push piston expenditure then turns the energy into mechanical energy, which is the most basic principle of Engine.
Firstly, because the principles of engine work similar, the basic structure is the same. Gasoline engine is usually composed of five systems and two large organizations and the diesel engine is usually composed of two big institutions and four system composition (no ignition department).
Ok, I will now move on to the Engine assembly, it mainly composed of the following aspects: Crank rod system, Valve-train, Fuel per cycle, Cooling department, Lubrication system, Ignition department and starting department.
Finally, I’d like to tell you about the Engine performance index. It used to evaluate the engine performance characteristics and works as the criterion basis to evaluate all kinds of engine performance.。
