Passage 1

People in different countries have different ways of doing things. Something polite in one country may be quite impolite in another country. Do you know how they have dinner in the following countries?

The Japanese diet is always plain and simple, and the dinner often leaves people a sense of not being full. If you set up the dinner in the morning, a glass of milk and a hot dog are enough. You may have heard that Elizabeth Ⅱ, the Queen of Britain, recently celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary(结婚纪念日) with her husband, Prince Philip. That’s right—the two have been married for 70 years!
