Falcon III radio products contain many times the processing power of other multiband radios, yet maintain interoperability with the Falcon II family of radios. Though the radio architecture has changed, the AN/PRC-152(C) features the man-machine interface of the AN/PRC-117F(C) multiband manpack transceiver, its manpack radio counterpart. To complement the AN/PRC-152(C)’s portability, high-power vehicular amplifiers are available with “jerkand-run” capabilities for quickdismount operations.
Aggressive power management techniques within the AN/PRC-152(C) provide many hours of operation when powered from a single battery—up to 8 hours on one charge. This high-capacity, rechargeable lithium ion battery features a quick-twist mount for easy connect and disconnect.

Introduction
The Harris Falcon III® series of radio products builds upon the capability of the combat-proven Falcon II® radio family. Designed for the Joint Tactical Radio System’s (JTRS) Version 2.2 Software Communications Architecture (SCA), Falcon III radios provide a new level of waveform flexibility. Able to port in any SCAstandard waveform from the JTRS library, Falcon III radios are ideal for situations requiring the SCA 2.2 certified architecture. Several frequencyhopping ECCM waveforms are provided for the Falcon III transceivers.

Type-1 Multiband Handheld Transceiver
The AN/PRC-152 single-channel, multiband handheld radio provides secure voice and data communications and is NSA certified for traffic up to the TOP SECRET level. The radio covers 30 to 512 MHz and provides an adjustable transmit output power up to 5 watts (PEP AM/ FM) across the full band. The transceiver uses the Harris Sierra™ II software programmable encryption module, designed to maximize battery life in battery-powered radios. Sierra II supports all JTRS COMSEC and TRANSEC requirements and has been selected as the standard encryption architecture for the JTRS GMR program.
