2012年,中国移动深入推进GSM (2G)、TD-SCDMA (3G)、TD-LTE (4G)、WLAN“四网协同”。

TD-LTE 扩大规模试验在全国13个城市建设超过2万个TD-LTE 基站,并在杭州、深圳成功开展业务体验,得到了国家有关部门与社会各界的高度肯定。

此外,TD-LTE 全球发展倡议已有51家运营商和39家制造商加入,13个商用网络推出,产业规模不断扩大,国际化进程日益加快。

TD-LTE 扩大规模试验在全国13个城市建设超过2万个TD-LTE 基站。

We have increased the scale of TD-LTE experiment, and built over 20,000 TD-LTE base stations in 13 cities of the country.

In 2012, China Mobile further pushed the coordinated development of the four networks, namely GSM (2G), TD-SCDMA (3G), TD-LTE (4G) and WLAN. We have built more than 20,000 TD-LTE base stations in 13 cities of the country and successfully carried out service experiences a c t i v i t i e s i n H a n g z h o u a n d Shenzhen. All this has gained the affirmation of related departments of the nation and various sectors of the society. What’s more, the Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) has attracted 51 operators and 39 manufacturers, and 13 commercial networks have been launched. The scale of the industry is constantly expanding, a n d t h e i n t e r n a t i o n a l i z a t i o n accelerates increasingly.

representing a market share of 37.4%. Data traffic carried by TD-SCDMA network has grown by 280%.
TD 终端产业链合作伙伴已近300家,定制终端900余款,全年销售量超6000万部。

There are close to 300 partners on TD-SCDMA device ecosystem, over 900 kinds of customized devices, and annual sales exceeded 60 million units.
With coordinated quad-network development, 3G becomes more competitive. First five phases of the TD-SCDMA Project have been completed, and the sixth phase kicked off. The continuous coverage in medium and large sized cities and effective coverage of hotspots are increasing continuously, and the network utilization is greatly improved. TD devices are equivalent to other standards in terms of quality, price and time to market, and the industrial chain is
growing steadily.

同时,WLAN 无线接入点已接近400万个,成为承载数据流量的重要手段。

2G 网络质量通过不断优化,持续保持领先,为7亿多客户提供一如既往的优质服务。

Moreover, with nearly 4 million wireless access points, WLAN has become an important means to carry the data traffic. With the constant improvement of network quality, 2G keeps ahead, and provides quality services to over 700 million clients as always.

In 2012, China Mobile stuck to the Mobile Internet development strategy. We promoted the transformation from voice services to “voice + data traffic + apps” services, strived for innovative layout and development, actively increased our share in daily life services market, and facilitated our transformation from a “Pipe Provider” to “Platform Operator”.

In 2012, China Mobile further carried out “Best Service for the Customers” campaign. We provided over 20 new services such as “Data Usage Reminder” and “Online Shop”, strengthened the centralized and standardized management of the uniform portal and E-channels, and thus offered more convenient services to customers.

During 2012-2015, China Mobile plans to train 44,000 primary and secondary school headmasters in rural areas of Central and Western China.

Vehicles with mobile medical system for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease have traveled over 35,000 kilometers.

In 2012, “Blue Dream Education Donation Program of China Mobile” was launched, and the scale of donation was further enlarged. The Loving “Heart” Program providing help to poor children with congenital heart disease was expanded to Liaoning and Henan provinces, under which more and more sick children have undergone their surgeries and started a new life. Moreover, “Warm China 12·1 Program” has helped over 15,000 AIDS orphans to gain equal and healthy living environment.

1月12日,中国移动(洛阳)呼叫中心项目启动。

项目规划2万呼叫座席,是集客服、管理、交流、公共服务等为一体的综合性基地,建成后将成为中国移动服务全国的呼叫中心之一。

On January 12, China Mobile (Luoyang) Call Center project was started. The project is planned to have 20,000 seats and become a comprehensive base incorporating customer service, management, communication and public service. Upon completion, it will be one of China Mobile’s call centers that provide service to the whole country.
1月18日,中国移动深入开展“为民服务创先争优”活动,首批推出11项服务举措,涉及网络服务、资费服务、透明消费和窗口服务等四个方面,为客户提供方便顺畅的服务体验。

On Januar y 18, China Mobile fur ther carried out the “Best Service for Customers” Campaign, launching 11 service measures for the first time, which covered four areas, namely net work service, tariff service, transparent service and window service, providing convenient and smooth service
experience for customers.

On January 4-6, China Mobile Working Conference 2012 was held in Beijing, calling on all employees to brace up and make concerted efforts to extensively improve the company’s sustainable healthy development level.
2月6日,中国移动香港公司竞得香港TDD 频段,成为既拥有FDD 的4G 频率,又拥有TDD 的4G 频率的电信运营商。

On February 6, China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited won the bid for TDD frequency band in Hong Kong, becoming a telecom operator with both FDD and TDD 4G frequencies.
2月14日,中国移动(淮安)呼叫中心项目在南京签约启动。

项目建成后服务范围将辐射全国,成为“功能一体化、渠道一体化、运营一体化”的世界级一流呼叫中心。

On February 14, the contract for China Mobile (Huaian) Call Center was signed in Nanjing and the project was started. Once completed, the project will provide service to the whole country and become a world-class call center of “integrated function, integrated channel and integrated operation”.

基地项目在四川成都正式签约启动,主要包括中国移动IDC 业务集中承载中心等需求,预计2019年全部建成。

On February 22, the contract for China Mobile (Chengdu) Data Center Base Project was signed in Chengdu, Sichuan Province and the project was officially started. The project will mainly serve as China Mobile’s centralized IDC business suppor t center, which is expected to complete in 2019.

On February 22, the kick-off conference for job-rotation of headquarters employees to front-line units was held in Beijing.

On February 27, Mobile World Congress 2012 was held in Barcelona, Spain. President Li Yue delivered a keynote speech at the conference, indicating that China Mobile will stick to the philosophy of “Open for Cooperation and Competing for Development” and start a new
era of mobile life.
3月1日,中国移动在杭州快速公交线路上启动4G 体验活动,乘客可免费体验4G 网络带来的高速上网感受。
