The topic about whether middle school students should study abroad is becoming more and more popular recently. We also had a heated discussion on the issue at the class meeting the other day.There are two sides of opinion of it.

Some classmates say studying at broad is their favorite. They hold the idea for the reason that studying abroad provides them a sound environment to learn a foreign language. What’s more, it can also broaden their view as well as learn the foreign advanced science and technology. Morever, they can take the opportunity to spread different cultures between China and the countries where they study.

While others argue that studying at home is a better choice in the following reason. Firstly, middle school students are too young to lead an independent life at abroad because of a lack of life experience. Besides, they may feel loney and homesick without their parents being with them. Finally, studying abroad costs a large amount of money. This is a heavy burden for their families.

From my point of view, I think it is necessary for them to study abroad if their families can afford it. The reason is that they may receive a better education at abroad. As a matter of fact, there are some other reasons to explain my choice. For me, the former is surely a wise choice .

Our class have a heated discussion about wether students should make friends online. We have different views on this question.

Some students say yes. They hold the view that the Internet helps students make more friends from different places around the world. Chatting online, students can more freely exchange their feelings and opinions with their friends, and morever, they can get help with their foreign language studies from the natives.

However, people, who are against ir don't think so. They argue that making friends online is a waste of time, which may result in a bad effect on their studies. Besides, some students may get cheated online.

In my opinion, students should place their study, health and safety before everything.
