欧洲制造6HP Eurorack模块:Shakmat双刃刀PANLP PANHP说明书
ShakmatDual Dagger6HP Eurorack Module Built & designed in PAN LP PAN HPThe Dual Dagger is a double-sided weapon, carefully sharpened to chop stereo signals. The module gives independent control over low-pass and high-pass cutoff frequencies, and an assignable resonance is shared on one control. The Linkfunction turns the dual filter into a band-pass filter, with control over frequency, bandwidth and band edges resonance! The module is carefully calibrated to share the exact same parame-ters on both audio channels and thanks to the pan function, it is easy to break up the cutoff frequencies of each side up, which leads to a whole new territory of stereo treatments!IntroductionThe Dual Dagger requires a standard 2x5 pin eurorack power cable. Make sure the red stripe on the cable matches the -12V side of the Dual Dagger power header.InstallationLow-pass potentiometer Link switchResonance potentiometer High-pass resonance switch Low-pass resonance switch High-pass potentiometerLow-pass CV input Resonance CV input High-pass CV input Pan CV inputs Inputs OutputsBasicsDespite its little size, the Dual Dagger contains four differentanalogue filters: two low-pass and two high-pass filters, all with a -24dB/octave slope. The LPF potentiometer [A] and CV input [1] control the cutoff frequency of the two low-pass filters. The HPF potentiometer [F] and CV input [3] control the cutoff frequency of the two high-pass filters. The Resonance potentiometer [C] and CV input [2] control the low-pass filters resonances if the low-pass resonance switch [D] is engaged. When the high-pass resonance switch [E] is engaged, the Resonance potentiometer controls the high-pass filters’ resonance. When both resonance switches are engaged, the resonance is affecting both the high and low-pass.Fig. 01 — Dual Dagger simplified architectureHPF1IN1IN2OUT1OUT2LPF1HPF2LPF2HPF Freq.(Pot. and CV input)HPF Res.Resonance(Pot. and CV input)LPF Res.Audio PathLPF Freq.(Pot. and CV input)Frequency controlResonance controlLink switchThe Link switch [B] turns the module into a powerful 8th order stereo bandpass filter with CV control over frequency and bandwidth. When engaged, the Link function makes the low-pass filters follow the high-pass filters. Therefore, the control of the high-pass moves the four filters and the low-pass control only affects the low-pass section. In a bandpass perspective,high-pass control is now the bandpass (lowest) frequency and the low-pass control is the filter’s bandwidth. Resonance still acts selectively on the high-pass edge and/or the low-pass edge according to the switches.Fig. 02 — Bandpass filtering with Link switch engagedLevelFrequencyLevelFrequencyLevelFrequencyThe Dual Dagger has CV inputs that allow to diffirentiate the cutoff frequencies of each channel, leading to a whole new territory of stereo effects. When a positive voltage is received in the Pan inputs [4], the corresponding filter cutoff frequency of the firstchannel increases as the second one decreases. In short, sending a positive voltage in the PAN LP input will cause the left filter to open and the right filter to close. When a negative voltage is received, the first channel filter cutoff frequency decreases as the second channel filter cutoff frequency increases. It is of course possible to combine the use of Pan inputs with the Link function and thus creating great stereo bandpass filtering effects!PanningThe jumper on the back of the module allows to set the resonance potentiometer range. In "Lo" position the range is limited, avoiding the filter to self-oscillate. In "Hi" position the resonance can go much higher, allowing self-oscillation.JumperLevelFrequencyLPF 1LPF 2LevelFrequencyFig. 03 — Positive voltage sent to PAN LPBesides all obvious stereo treatment and filtering, the Dual Dagger can used in many creative ways, here are some ideas.Patch ideasWe know a sinewave can be easily turned into a kick drum sound when being FMed by a decaying envelope. Based on that, the Dual Dagger leads to a wide range of kick drums : mix both outputs and use the pan input to detune sections, try with both sections set to be highly resonant, use the resonance input instead of a VCA,...Kick DrumUse a mono source and mix both outputs, you now have a double peak high pass and low pass filter - with resonance engaged, use the pan inputs to control the "distance" between two resonant peaks!Summing OutputsWhile using only one channel, use the high pass section as a sine wave VCO tracking V/Oct over a few octaves (resonance at max will cause the filter to self-oscillate). In order to create more complex waveforms, use the second channel to fm the PANhp. Now that you have a lot of harmonics, the low pass section will be handy to smooth out the harsh timbre. Another trick is to mix both channels and to use the PANhp as a "detune" parameter between the two sine VCOs.Simple VoiceOur SumDif module is a great companion for this filter as it allows to convert left right stereo to mid side stereo ! Combined with the Dual Dagger you can explore peculiar panning effects while using the pan section which will offset the cut off frequency of the centre signal from the side signal.LR & MSSpecificationsSize 6 HP Depth 29 mm Audio Inputs -5 to 5V Current Draw 65 mA @ +12V 80 mA @ -12V。

See the setting-tool carcass schematic for available adapters and drag blocks. The setting-tool carcass also does not include the setting kit.a7-in. through 8 5/8-in. setting kits can be used with both drag-block and drag-spring setting tools.14-2Drillable Tools March 27, 2000March 27, 2000Halliburton Mechanical Setting Tools14-3ProcedureThe basic setting-tool mechanism is adapted to a setting kit to provide the proper connec-tion to the packer or plug. For drillable packers, the setting kit contains a stinger to operatethe packer’s valve system. Drag blocks or drag springs restrict the transmission ofworkstring rotation, which the threaded bushing in the setting tool converts to linearmotion. This linear motion is transmitted to the packer or plug to set the outer components(slips and packer elements). The draw-works place tension on the workstring to provideadditional setting motion. This tension separates the packer or plug from the HMST.Additional workstring rotation releases the locking keys from the bushing, which allowsthe upper mandrel to freewheel. If required, the workstring can be rotated during the tripout.Optional HMST Sleeve ShieldsWhen installed on EZ DRILL® Series products, HMST sleeve shields prevent debrisfrom entering the lock-ring housing of the drillable bridge plug or packer. Table 14.3 liststhe available sizes and part numbers for sleeve shields.OperationFor HMST operating instructions, see the section of the manual that applies to the toolyou plan to run. For example, if you were planning to run anEZ DRILL SVB Squeeze Packer, you would see the mechanical setting tool instructionsin Section 4—EZ DRILL SVB Squeeze Packers.General MaintenanceDisassemble, clean, relubricate, and reassemble the HMST after each run. If you everfield-dress the HMST, wash or wipe all wellbore debris from the bushing section andlubricate the bushing with a high-temperature grease.Since the basic setting tool is common to all drillable packer and plug adaptations, general maintenance procedures are listed first, followed by individual setting-kitmaintenance procedures.14-4Drillable Tools March 27, 2000Disassembling the Drag SectionDrag Blocks1.Remove the keeper bolts. To help balance the spring force on the drag blocks as youare removing the keeper bolts, back out one keeper bolt four or five turns and thenback out the keeper bolt at the opposite end of the block four or five turns. Repeatthis process until both keeper bolts are free.Caution Do not round the hex sockets of the keeper bolts.2.Remove the drag block and springs from the pocket.3.Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for each pocket, removing solid debris from the pockets as youprogress.Drag Springs1.Remove the safety ring from the drag-spring body.•When using HMSTs smaller than 9 5/8 in., remove the two bolts that hold it inplace and slide the ring off the body.•When using HMSTs that are 9 5/8 in. or larger, remove the drag-spring re-tainer from the drag-spring body by breaking the threaded connection betweenthem.2.If using HMSTs smaller than 9 5/8 in., remove the spring-retaining bolts, taking carenot to round the hex sockets in the bolts.3.Remove each spring and discard each outer drag spring.Disassembling the Operation Section1.Remove the drag springs or blocks from the drag body and carefully place the dragbody in a vise.2.Remove the top adapter from the upper mandrel by breaking the threaded connec-tion between them.3.Remove the bumper rubber by sliding it off the upper mandrel.4.Remove the set screws in the releasing sleeve. The releasing sleeve has two pairs ofset screws: one pair at each end of the releasing sleeve.Important 4 1/2 to 6-in. drag-block HMSTs have two additional set screws in the releasing-sleeve extension.5.Remove the releasing-sleeve cap from the releasing sleeve by breaking the threadedconnection between them. Slide the cap off the upper mandrel. Remove and discardthe O-ring in the bore of the releasing-sleeve cap.6.Remove the releasing sleeve from the drag body by breaking the threaded connec-tion between them. Slide the sleeve off the upper mandrel, taking care that the keysinside do not fall.March 27, 2000Halliburton Mechanical Setting Tools14-57.Remove the keys by removing the garter spring that surrounds them.8.Remove the setting sleeve from the drag body by breaking the threaded connectionbetween them.9.Remove the stinger assembly from the upper mandrel by breaking the threadedconnection between them. Maintenance instructions for each stinger assembly areincluded later in this section.10.Slide the upper mandrel out of the bushing and remove it completely from the dragbody. Remove and discard the O-ring in the upper mandrel.11.Remove the bushing from the drag body by backing out the lead screw threadbetween them. This screw has a left-hand thread.Important 4 1/2- to 6-in. drag-block HMSTs have a releasing-sleeve extension that houses the bushing. Remove this extension from the drag body once the bushing has been removed.12.Wash grease, wellbore fluids, and debris from all parts and replace theO-rings. If solvents are used to clean HMST parts, make sure all solvent has been driedfrom the parts. Before reassembling the tool, inspect the following parts for damage:a.Bushing—Inspect the bushing for split or torn thread. If damage exists, eitherreplace the bushing or redress the split or torn area with a small file. Check themating threads in the drag-block/drag-spring body for similar damage, andreplace or repair them as required.b.Keys—To make sure the keys are not warped, place them lengthwise on a flatsurface and check their outer surfaces for wear. If properly positioned, the keysshould not drag against the release sleeve. If the keys are worn or warped, replace them.Important Do not attempt to straighten the keys. Worn or warped keys cannot be repaired.Check the spline portion of the keys for indentations made by the splines in themandrel. These indentations can cause the keys to lock up, which prevents themfrom kicking out when the setting tool has been rotated its full 55 turns. If thisdamage occurs, either replace the keys or file the spline damage flush with theedge of the key.c.Upper mandrel—Make sure the splined section of the mandrel is not rounded ortorn. Replace the mandrel if it is severely damaged.Reassembling the Operation Section1.Make sure all surfaces have been cleaned and are free of solvents and cleaners.Replace all O-rings.2.Generously apply high-temperature grease to all threaded connections, O-rings, andsealing surfaces.3.Remove all drag springs or drag blocks from the drag body and carefully place thedrag body in a vise.4.Thread the bushing three-fourths of the way into the lead screw of the drag body. This left-hand thread should never get tight during the threading operation.Important 4 1/2- to 6-in. HMSTs have the lead screw in the releasing-sleeve extension. Before threading the bushing in place, use at least 600 lb-ft (800 N•m) to make up this extensionon the drag body.5.Slide the upper mandrel into the drag body and bushing until the mandrel shoulders onthe bushing.6.Install the keys in the slots of the bushing. The keys must fit through the bushing intothe reliefs provided in the upper mandrel. Using grease to hold the keys in place, wrapthe garter spring around the groove provided.7.Thread the releasing sleeve (or releasing-sleeve extension) to the drag body, takingcare that the keys stay in place. Tighten this thread to at least 600 lb-ft (800 N•m).8.Rotate the upper mandrel both to the right and left to ensure that the keys are correct. The mandrel should move in and out, depending on the direction of rotation.9.Thread the releasing-sleeve cap to the releasing sleeve. Tighten this thread to at least600 lb-ft (800 N•m).10.Slide the bumper ring on the upper mandrel.11.Thread the top adapter to the upper mandrel. Tighten this thread to at least 600 lb-ft(800 N•m). HA BRITSTRIP渣点搭配说明书
HA BRITSTIP QUICK START GUIDEThis is a quick start guide on using the HA BRITSTRIP. For more info on it or more tips on how to use the unit, please check often, and make sure to follow Heritage Audio on Facebook, Instagram and You Tube.Dec 14th, 2020Rev. 1.0.INSTALLING THE BRITSTRIPThanks for purchasing the HA BRITSTRIP Channel Strip. Please make sure the following items are in the box when you open it.•This manual.•HA BRITSTRIP main unit.•Power Supply labelled HA-PSU03.•IEC Cable.Depending on your system requirements, you will need several XLR and MONO jack cables to hook up your system. Please check your input sources and output destinations and purchase the correct cables. The power supply is of the auto switching type so it works worldwide without adjusting anything. In case your country uses a different mains cable other than the one provided in the box, just get the correct one and you are done. Basic audio connections are just balanced input and output connections by means of XLR.In case you want to make use of the external sidechain facilities, additional MONO Jack cables are needed as explained below:If you want to be able to trigger the BRITSTRIP Successor-like detector with an external signal, a MONO jack is needed. If, in addition to this, you want to be able to further externally process the internal detector signal and return it into the unit, another additional MONO jack is needed. In case you have TRS JACKS instead of MONO (TS) ones, those are compatible as well, but keep in mind that the signals are unbalanced. The HA BRITSTRIP is able to accept input levels in excess of those that any interface can provide, so the chance that its input is overloaded is rare. However, it is able to provide output levels in excess of those that most interfaces can accept, so please keep this in mind.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Heritage Audio BRITSTRIP is a professional channel strip comprising a 73 preamplifier, DI, equalizer and diode bridge-based dynamics processor in a convenient 1 RU format. It features transformer balanced inputs and outputs, and the outputs are driven by means of 73 type Class A amplifiers. The signal path consists of:-Preamplifier, being it the mic, line or instrument preamp.-Equalizer.-Compressor.-Output stage. The DI input is ahead of the mic preamp. The equalizer can be placed before or after the compressor. With these possible exceptions, the signal flows in the aforementioned order. Keep this in mind when setting the individual block´s levels for optimum headroom.THE PREAMPLIFIER:First thing to set is the correct input source, being MIC the default one. Inserting a mono jack into the DI input will automatically detect it and switch it to DI (green LED on). Pressing LINE will switch the pre to the LINE input XLR on the back. When in MIC mode, the PAD, 48v and LOZ buttons can be operated. Use the PAD for higher headroom when using hot microphones and/or loud sources. The LOZ will lower the input impedance from 1200 to 300 ohms, great to get 6 noise free dBs of gain when using low impedance mics such as transformerless condensers. Using the LOZ setting will also darken vintage ribbon and dynamic mics. Use it to taste.Gain goes from 30 to 80 dB of gain in the white dotted dial of the double bar red knob. When in LINE mode, gain is in the orange dial of the same, from -10dB with unity gain at 3 o´clock. When in DI mode, there are provisions for using an external amplifier by means of the THRU jack, and its ground can be lifted by means of the LIFT switch to avoid ground loops. The level on the red knob must be set accordingly with the next stage in the chain. If large amounts of boost eq are used after the preamp, turning the input gain down accordingly may be needed. Same applies if the compressor is used after the preamp. If large amounts of compression are desired, it may be worth turning the input gain up and setting the threshold higher to avoid having to add a lot of makeup gain. GAIN STAGING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE BEST SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO AND HEADROOM.THE EQUALIZER:The equalizer section consists of high and low shelves in a Baxandall arrangement, with enhanced PEAK response, a dual inductor-based mid band with dual Q switch, and an inductor based passive high pass filter. Essentially an enhanced 73 equalizer section.Frequencies are as follows:-High shelf: 10, 12 and 16 Khz, PEAK or shelf curve response.-Mid band: 360, 700, 1600, 3200, 4800 or 7200 Hz. Hi or Lo Q.-Low shelf: 60, 110 or 220 Hz, PEAK or shelf curve response.-High Pass Filter: 50, 80, 160 or 300 Hz, 18dB/oct.The equalizing section is followed by the Output control, to allow for perfect gain staging after equalizing.THE SUCCESSOR-LIKE COMPRESSOR:Unlike vintage diode bridge designs, the Successor-like compressor in the BRITSTRIP has a range of release times that goes from ultra-fast, FET like values, to very slow, VCA like gentle timings, making this unit arguably one of the most versatile tracking compressor up to date.To make things even more versatile, a complex sidechain filter has been implemented, departing for the traditional high pass one.A blend circuit with ON/OFF function and an external sidechain accessible from the front panel rounds the pack and makes this machine the new Swiss knife in dynamic processing, both in the pro and semi pro studios.Resume of controls is as follows:-DYN IN: Activates the compression section.-DYN PRE EQ: Places the compression section ahead of the EQ.-GAIN MAKEUP: Recovers gain from 0 to 20dB.-RATIO:1.5:1, 2:1, 4:1, 6:1, 10:1.-THRESHOLD: From -20 to +20 dBu.-RELEASE: 50, 100, 200, 400 mS and AUTO.-ATTACK FAST: Activates the faster attack.-SIDECHAIN FILTER: OFF, 50 and 100 high pass, 800 and 3K peak, and 5K hpf.-BLEND: From fully dry to fully WET.-BLEND ON: Activates the blend circuit.-VU/GR: Meter activity either Gain reduction or output level.CONNECTION FEATURESThe HA BRITSTRIP has the following connections:•MIC INPUT: Transformer balanced, accessible on an XLR connector.•LINE INPUT: Again, transformer balanced on XLR.•OUPUT: Transformer balanced, 73 type class A amp driven, accessible on an XLR connector.•SIDECHAIN SEND: Unbalanced at unity gain, able to drive up to 2Kohms. Allows to externally process the control signal.•SIDECHAIN RETURN: This unbalanced input allows to use an external control signal or return the processed internal sidechain to thedetector ¡. This return precedes the internal filter, so it can be usedeven if an external sidechain signal is preferred.•LINK: Puts the control signal on an RCA for using 2 BRITSTRIPs in stereo.•POWER: Connects the external power supply by means of a 5 pin XLR.GETTING STARTED WITH THE UNITPlease keep in mind that this manual is a brief guide of operation and is not intended to substitute a good old sound engineering course. With this being said, once you have made the right connections for your application, please POWER ON your unit and turn off DYN and EQL buttons to make sure the equalizer and compressor are not activated. Audio should pass unprocessed.Turn the Output control all clockwise to maximum and set the input gain to obtain a healthy level as desired. This will in fact depend on your interface´s headroom (should you be connecting the BRITSTRIP directly to it). After this, and only after this, you can engage the next stage, which will be either the equalizer or the compressor depending on your DYN PRE button setting. If compressing prior to equalizing is preferred, press DYN PRE and start playing around with the compressor. For a more detailed explanation of the compressor section, a visit to the Successor manual and/or web page and third party You Tube videos is totally worth it. After setting the compressor, please make sure the gain makeup control is set so you are sending about the same level to the interface as you were before activating it.Now it´s time to use the EQ. Chances are you will be boosting some frequencies as the 73 eq sounds so good and natural when boosting. You may need to back the gain makeup accordingly in order not to saturate the unit in a bad way. After this, turn the output knob to the desired level. In case the EQ and compressor are used in the reverse order, the procedure is similar, only backwards.AN APPROACH TO USING THE BRITSTRIP Using the HA BRITSTRIP in the manner explained above will give you instant gratification, however the unit is way more powerful.Playing around with ATTACK and RELEASE will change the sound A LOT. Very fast attack and releases will eat up transients and may make your sounds less punchy but more detailed at the same time. BLEND Control can help you restore punchiness to your sounds. The best way to learn is experiment! The sidechain filter is another control that can have dramatic results in your music.High Pass filter at 80Hz makes bass heavy sounds such as kick drum not to dominate the compression. 160Hz does so with Kick and Snare. 800 Hz boost allows to moderate mixes with too much lo mid content on them (such is the case when snare drum is too loud in the mix or a honky vocal is dominating). 3Khz boost does so with too loud vocals or fuzzy guitars. 5Khz lo pass allow you to almost de-ess the mix when cymbals are too loud or similar.EQ-wise, there are no recommended settings other than experimentation. Low mids will work great fattening snare drums, guitar and vocals (the old trick of 700 Hz boost to make electric guitars sound huge works great here). Using the high pass filter while tracking should be done with extreme care as restoring the lost bass is a difficult task. The Hi Shelf can be used in 2 ways: either to add brightness and hi end definition by boosting, or to remove harshness by cutting. A good trick for the latter is removing just in the 16Khz setting, as to avoid losing hi end. Experimenting with the PEAK/shelf response will give different results, being the peak a bit subtler. The same applies on the Lo shelf, peak settings will enhance your low end without sounding muddy while the shelf setting may be too much when doing large boosts.Again, the best way is experimenting!!LIST OF CONTROLSThe list of controls, from left to right, is as follows:-LIFT: Lifts the ground from the THRU input.-LINE: Swaps the unit into LINE mode.-+48v: Activates Phantom power.-PAD: Lowers the input gain by 20dB in MIC mode.-LOZ: Switches the input impedance from 1200 to 300 ohm in MIC mode.-INPUT GAIN SWITCH: Sets the input gain in 5 dB increments from 30 to 80 dB in MIC mode, 40 dB less in LINE mode.-HI SHELF FREQ SELECTION: Selects the hi shelf corner frequency.-HI SHELF BOOST/CUT: Sets the amount of gain boost/cut, being 0 at6 o´clock.-HI SHELF PEAK: Switches the shelf response curve to PEAK.-MID BAND FREQ. SELECTION: Selects the mid band´s peak frequency.-MID BAND BOOST/CUT: Sets the amount of gain boost/cut, being 0 at 6 o´clock.-MID BAND Q SWITCH: Sets the higher Q for the mid band.-LO SHELF FREQ SELECTION: Selects the lo shelf corner frequency.-LO SHELF BOOST/CUT: Sets the amount of gain boost/cut, being 0 at6 o´clock.-LO SHELF PEAK: Switches the shelf response curve to PEAK.-HIGH PASS FILTER: Sets the -3dB filter frequency.-OUTPUT: Attenuates the EQ output signal.-EQL: Activates the EQ section.-PHASE: Turns the signal 180 degrees.-SC. Page1of3 August2003Page2of3August2003 Information1.The one-piece“Frog”link is a forged rear shock link design compatible with Scalpel aluminum or composite seat-stays.It is shown in the graphic above with a composite seatstay.2.The one-piece shock link assembly received its nickname from its frog-like appearance. When turned upsidedown on a table,it looks much like a frog.Early model Scalpels using the3-piece design link system and alumi-num seatstays can be upgraded to the“Frog”link.3.The acetate washers item(4)fitted between the front part of the link and the seattube mounting point should beinspected often for damage or wear.Neglect can result in excessive play detected in the seatstay assembly.Replace them with new ones when necessary.4.The inside of the link pivot bearings(2)should be greased regularly.CAUTION:Pressure washing can force dirt and water into the link bearings which will result in rapid dam-age.Don’t pressure wash.5.When installing the pivot bolts(3),be sure to use Loctite#242on the bolt threads.Apply a high quality bikegrease to the inner pivot bearing(2)in the link.Take care to not contaminate the bearings during installation of the bolts.Make sure the washers(4)are in place.6.The T-shafts(8)are Teflon coated and should not be lubricated. If any creaking or noise is detected either the T-shafts or link bushing may be damaged.CAUTION:Do not apply grease or other lubricants to the T-shafts.Grease or lubricants can collect contam-inants resulting in damage and accelerated wear of the parts.Always install the parts clean and dry.7.The flange bushings(9)are a press fit into the bonded seatstay inserts. They can be removed to install replace-ments.T o remove, carefully locate the punch and drive out. These flange bushings should be inspected often and replaced when necessary. The seatstay inserts are bonded in place during manufacture and are non-removable.8.The T-shaft screws(11)should be checked for tightness periodically.Loose screws can result in play detected inthe seatstay. When installing the screws,be sure to apply Loctite#242to the threads and tighten to2.25N•m(20.0In•Lbs).CAUTION:Do not over-tighten the T-shaft screws.Over-tightening will result in damage to the flange bush-ings9.Notice that the lower shock bushings(13)are thicker that the upper shock bushings. The thicker bushings won’tfit in the upper shock seattube mounts.Page3of3August2003 PartsThe following table is for reference only.Replacement/Renewal KitsThe following replacement parts and kits are available only through an authorized Cannondale Dealer.。
