Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section A (1a-1c)说课稿一、教材的地位及作用本课是人教版新目标英语八年级上第五单元的第一课时,教材内容围绕着电视节目展开。

本节课以“What do you think of ...?”为功能项目展开话题,并以此为依托,在语言目标“I love.../ I like.../ I don’t mind/ I don’t like/ I can’t stand them/it”中学会谈论个人喜好。

本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。

在学习活动中,学生能够通过各种活动促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流。

二、教学目标1、知识目标:单词:sitcom, news, soap opera, mind, stand句型:What do you think of...?I love.../ I like.../ I don’t mind/ I don’t like/ I can’t stand them/it.2、能力目标:培养学生用本课内容进行情景交际的能力,从而提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

3、情感目标:通过本课的学习,让学生学会对不同的电视节目种类发表自己的看法,并正确认识流行文化,合理分配时间。

激发学生的英语学习兴趣,使学生获得成就感,增强自信心。

三、教学重点及难点教学重点:熟练运用What do you think of...?I love.../ I like.../ I don’t mind/ I don’t like/ I can’t stand them/it.教学难点:第三人称单数谓语动词在核心句型中的使用。

四、教法设计对本课我主要采取了如下几种教法:1.听录音。

听音是英语学习的重要方法,也是课堂教学的重要步骤。

在听中可以感知,可以模仿。
