Unit6 What are you doing for vacation?第四课时教学设计荣成第二实验中学于娜一．教材分析：现代社会里随着生活水平的提高，人们的假期生活越来越丰富，生活质量也越来越高，购物、旅游观光、运动或是在家休息，假日生活丰富多彩。
本单元是一个贴近生活，具有时代性的教学主题。
它围绕“假期计划”这一主题展开听、说、读、写的多种教学活动。
而第四课时是读写阅读课，3a 讲述的是法国著名的歌唱家Ben Lambert的假期计划，学生比较感兴趣。
通过本课时的学习，能使学生在知识目标中掌握并熟悉运用词语和句型，在能力目标中能熟练运用疑问句来讨论将来的句型;学会使用现在进行时态表示未来计划;学会科学安排自己的假期活动，能和合作伙伴互相交流，充分交换信息;能在描述自己的计划和打算时，激起学生更加热爱祖国的美好河山。
在情感目标中能在描述自己的计划和打算时，引导学生充分利用假期放松自己，安排好假期，领略各地风光；合理利用节假日的时间，多参加一些户外运动；了解不同国家的学生对假期的不同安排以及了解相关的假期生活；了解和熟悉当地地理，培养学生对本土文化的热爱。
二．设计意图：先让学生自学，即让学生看录像或听录音，要求学生通过看、听，回答有关课文的简单问题（只要求用Yes,No来回答）再让学生听课文录音，并自读课文1—2遍，难以理解的语句做上记号，然后回答有一定难度的问题。
老师在备课时把要求学生掌握的知识融入所提问题当中，学生回答这些问题后就课文中出现的难以理解的短语、句型和语法现象等进行质疑，并采用兵教兵的方式由尖子生来释疑。
尖子生感到有难度的，最后由老师做必要的，适当的点拨，举例和补充等。
接着进行朗读训练，最后做笔头巩固性练习，如果可能的话可让学生复述课文。
