Each chip contains an interconnected set of microchannels that is used for separation of nucleic acid fragments based on their size as they are driven through it electrophoretically. This kit is designed for use with the 2100 Bioanalyzer system only.Applications and KitsAgilent RNA kits are designed for the analysis of total RNA (eukaryotic, prokaryotic, and plant) and mRNA samples. Available kits: Agilent RNA 6000 Nano kit (5067-1511), RNA 6000 Pico kit (5067-1513) and Small RNA kit (5067-1548) Storage Conditions•Freeze unopened RNA ladder at -28–-15°C (-18–5°F). Prepared ladder aliquots need to be stored at -28–-15°C (-18–5°F). Keep all other reagents and reagent mixes refrigerated at 2–8°C (36–46°F) when not in use to avoid poor results caused by reagent decomposition.2•Protect dye and dye mixtures from light. Remove light covers only when pipetting. Dye decomposes when exposed to light.•Store the chips at room temperature.Equipment Supplied with the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer System•Chip priming station (5065-4401)•IKA vortex mixerAdditional Material Required (Not Supplied)•RNaseZAP® recommended for electrode decontamination and routine electrode cleaning •RNase-free water recommended for routine electrode cleaning•Pipettes (10µL and 1000µL) with compatible tips (RNase-free, no filter tips, no autoclaved tips)•0.5mL and 1.5mL microcentrifuge tubes (RNase-free)•Microcentrifuge ( 13000g)•Heating block or water bath for ladder/sample preparationSample preparationFor total RNA or mRNA analysis, the sample concentration must be within the specified range. If the concentration of your particular sample is above this range, dilute with RNase-free water.SpecificationsSetting up the Chip Priming Station1Replace the syringe:a Unscrew the old syringe from the lid of the chip priming station.b Release the old syringe from the clip. Discard the old syringe.c Remove the plastic cap of the new syringe and insert it into the clip.d Slide it into the hole of the luer lock adapter and screw it tightly to the chip priming station.2Adjust the base plate:a Open the chip priming station by pulling the latch.b Using a screwdriver, open the screw at the underside of the base plate.c Lift the base plate and insert it again in position C. Foreign matter in reagents and samples or in the wells of the chip will interfere with assay results.•Allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature for 30min before use. Thaw samples on ice.•Protect dye and dye mixtures from light. Remove light covers only when pipetting. The dye decomposes when exposed to light and this reduces the signal intensity.•Always insert the pipette tip to the bottom of the well when dispensing the liquid. Placing the pipette at the edge of the well may lead to poor results.•Always wear gloves when handling RNA and use RNase-free tips, microcentrifuge tubes and water.•It is recommended to heat denature all RNA samples and RNA ladder before use for 2min and 70°C (once) and keep them on ice.•Do not touch the 2100 Bioanalyzer instrument during analysis and never place it on a vibrating surface.•Always vortex the dye concentrate for 10s before preparing the gel-dye mix and spin down afterwards.•Use a new syringe and electrode cleaners with each new kit.•Use loaded chips within 5min after preparation. Reagents might evaporate, leading to poor results.•To prevent contamination (e.g. RNase), it is strongly recommended to use a dedicated electrode cartridge for RNA assays.•Perform the RNase decontamination procedure for the electrodes daily before running any assays. Refer to the kit guide for details on electrode cleaning and decontamination.Agilent RNA 6000 Nano Assay ProtocolPreparing the RNA Ladder1Spin the ladder down and pipette in an RNase-free vial.2Heat denature the ladder for 2min at 70°C.3Immediately cool the vial on ice.4Prepare aliquots in recommended 0.5mL RNase-free vials with the required amount for typical daily use.5Store aliquots at -28–-15°C (-18–5°F). After initial heat denaturation, the frozen aliquots should not require repeated heat denaturation.6Before use, thaw ladder aliquots on ice (avoid extensive warming).Preparing the Gel1Pipette 550µL of RNA gel matrix (red ) into a spin filter.2Centrifuge at 1500 g ±20% for 10min at room temperature.3Aliquot 65µL filtered gel into 0.5mL RNase-free microcentrifuge tubes. Use filtered gel within 4 weeks. Store at2–8°C (36–46°F).Handling ReagentsThe dye can cause eye irritation. Because the dye binds to nucleic acids, it should be treated as a potential mutagen.Kit components contain DMSO. DMSO is skin-permeable and can elevate the permeability of other substances through the skin.✓Follow the appropriate safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment including protective gloves and clothes as well as eye protection.✓Follow good laboratory practices when preparing and handling reagents and samples.✓Always use reagents with appropriate care.✓For more information, refer to the material safety data sheet (MSDS) on .Agilent Technologies Inc. 2001-2022Printed in Germany, Edition: 11/2022*G2938-90037*Part No: G2938-90037 Rev. S T U DI OC ON DE NS ER MI CR OP HO N EB -2P R OVersion 1.0 September User s ManualSTUDIO CONDENSER MICROPHONE B-2 PRO1.SAFETY PRECAUTIONSDetailed safety precautions:Please read all safety precautions and operating instructions before you attempt to operate the unit. Keep all safety precautions and operating instructions for future reference.Water and moisture:Condenser microphones are extremely moisture-sensitive. Never use your microphone in close proximity to water (e.g. bath-tubs, wash-basins, sinks, washing machines, pools, etc.). When doing voice recordings, always use the enclosed popscreen to safely protect the capsule from moisture.Power supply:Always use the power supply specified in the operating instructions.Damage:Take care not to drop your microphone as this can lead to severe damage. BEHRINGER assumes no liability for any damage caused by the user.Maintenance and care:When the microphone is not in use, please take it out from its elastic suspension, clean it with a soft cloth, and then place it in its case. Place the bag containing moisture-absorbing crystals close to the microphone head.Caution:Never dismount the screen holding the capsule, as this can damage the microphone! Never try to modify the printed circuit board inside your B-2 PRO! This can lead to microphone damage that cannot be repaired. Any such attempt will void the warranty.2.POWER SUPPLYYour condenser mic B-2 PRO needs a +48 V phantom power supply. BEHRINGER assumes no liability for any damage caused by a defective phantom power supply. Always mute the sound reinforcement system before you switch on the phantom power supply. After power-up, the B-2 PRO needs about 6 seconds to stabilize.3.DIRECTIVITYWith the switch on the front, you can set your B-2 PRO to provide a cardioid, omnidirectional or figure eight directivity pattern. If the microphone is used to pick up both the signal source and ambient signals, we recommend to use an omnidirectional directivity (switch position: left). However, to pick up specific instruments or voices, please set the switch to the cardioid position (right). The figure eight directivity pattern (center) is recommended, for example, for choir miking. Thanks to the figure eight directivity pattern, your B-2 PRO picks up more ambient signals than when it is set to the omnidirectional directivity.4.LOW-CUT FILTER AND LEVEL ATTENUATIONThe low-cut filter can be activated with the left switch on the rear, in order to filter low-frequency interference such as pop sounds, etc. With the low-cut filter on, the B-2 PRO provides an almost linear frequency response with signals picked up at close proximity to the source. The built-in shielding minimizes the microphone s sensitivity to high-frequency interference.Use the right switch on the rear to activate the -10 dB level attenuator, which should be used with pulse-type signal sources producing high sound pressure levels (e.g. kick drum).21.SAFETY PRECAUTIONS3STUDIO CONDENSER MICROPHONE B-2 PRO5.MOUNTING MICROPHONE AND ELASTIC SUSPENSION 5.MOUNTING MICROPHONE AND ELASTIC SUSPENSIONAttach the enclosed elastic suspension to the microphone stand. Fasten the screw, once the suspension has been positioned properly. Open the elastic suspension by pressing the two circular levers, then insert the B-2 PRO from above.6.AUDIO CONNECTIONUse a balanced XLR microphone cable with the following pin assignment: pin 1 = shielding;pin 2 = +; pin 3 = -. Since your B-2 PRO features gold-plated contact points throughout, we recommend that you use only microphone cables with gold-plated connectors.7.LEVEL SETTING / ADJUSTING THE BASIC SOUNDAdjust the gain control in the microphone channel of your mixing console so that the peak LED lights up only occasionally or never at all. The EQ controls in the microphone channel should be set to mid-travel position to start with; low-cut filter and level attenuator should be off. Try to achieve the desired sound by experimenting with the microphone position. Use the omnidirectional, cardioid and figure eight directivity patterns (see chapter 3). Often, it will be useful to set up acoustic barriers ( gobos ) at various angles towards the signal source. Only when the desired basic sound has been achieved, should you start to use equalizers and signal processors, if any at all (Remember: less is often more!)The B-2 PRO provides a level peak around 12 kHz producing some kind of presence in this range;so, there is no need for high-frequency EQing which could deteriorate the signal and raise the overall noise floor. On the contrary, the B-2 PRO provides that much-desired transparency which often gets lost during recording and mixing.8.WARRANTY +Please find our current warranty terms on our web site under orsendusarequestbye-mail(********************),fax(+49(0)2154920665),or telephone (+49 (0) 2154 920666).9.SPECIFICATIONSTransducer type:condenser, 1" dual-diaphragm Operating principle:pressure gradient Polar pattern:cardioid, omnidirectional or figure eight Connection:gold-plated balanced XLR connector Open circuit sensitivity (at 1 kHz):cardioid: -36 dBV (0 dBV = 1 V/Pa), 16 mV/Pa omnidirectional: -37 dBV (0 dBV = 1 V/Pa), 14 mV/Pa figure eight: -35 dBV (0 dBV = 1 V/Pa), 18 mV/Pa Frequency response:20 Hz - 20 kHz Level attenuation:-10 dB (switchable)Low-Cut filter: 6 dB/oct. at 150 Hz (switchable)Max. The choice of materials is still uncompromisingly based on copper or brass for all metals in order to guarantee performance-oriented CPU cooling.Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU CoolerAlphacool's Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge CPU water cooler offers the highest performance and impresses with its outstanding quality. The patented ramp system ensures optimal water flow within the cooler as water is forced evenly through the jet plate. 81 cooling fins are distributed on the CPU cooler base, occupying an area of 34 x 32mm and thus accommodating the ever-growing CPU DIEs. The Aurora design in combination with the 15 addressable digital aRG B LEDs provides many options for outstanding CPU water cooler illumination. The included mounting hardware makes the CPU cooler compatible with popular mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel.Eisbecher Aurora D5 250mm & VPP Apex PumpThe Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora glass reservoir uses a real glass tube rather than the usual plastic tube that Alphacool usually relies on. The embedded 5V digital RGB LED ring and the new design makes the reservoir look magnificent. Of course, the Lighttower water effect is used again. The mounting can be done via feet but also mounted on 120 or 140mm fan mounts or even directly to a radiator. The Apex VPP is a powerful pump that is compatible with the most popular D5/VPP tops and reservoirs. Via the 4-pin fan connector, the speed of the pump can be read and controlled via PWM signal. The Apex VPP is supplied with power via the SATA connector.NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 240mm Radiator V.2All water-bearing parts and the cooling fins are made of pure copper. Thus, the NexXxoS XT45 achieves the highest thermal conductivity value of all radiators on the market and can easily dissipate extremely high waste heat. The radiator has two IN or OUT connections with G1/4" threads in the pre-chamber area. On the opposite side is a fill or vent port, which can be used to fill and drain the water loop.Rise Aurora 120mm fansThe fans can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connector. At 800 rpm, the fan is nearly silent, but still offers good airflow (118.9 m3/h) coupled with high static pressure (3.17mm/H2O). In addition to a wide control range, the Rise fan also offers superior digital aRGB lighting. The frame and hub feature 20 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs that illuminate the entire fan.Eisrohr 16/13mm PETG HardTubeThe Alphacool Eisrohr PETG HardTube givse the user the possibility to create a very special look. With a wall thickness of 3 mm, the tubes are very strong, but can still be bent without great effort and they are easy to fit. The HardTubes are clear and will look great in almost every water cooling loop. When cutting the tubes, make sure to chamfer the edges with fine file or a hose deburrer, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings.Eiszapfen 16/13mm G1/4" ConnectionsAll the requirements for a connection are met here: Highflow, shape, machining and coloring. Special manufacturing processes firmly bond the coating to the substrate. This increases the longevity of the color and prevents the coating from flaking off.Thermal Paste & CoolantThe included thermal paste is Alphacool's Subzero with a thermal conductivity of 16 W/mk. The electrically non-conductive Thermal G rease is particularly well suited for high contact pressures, but can still be processed perfectly due to its viscosity of 850,000 TF. Tec Protect 2 Clear in the 1 liter bottle is used as the coolant. Tec Protect 2 Clear is a ready-to-use mixture that already contains all the necessary additives and can be used straight from the bottle.aRGB Controller, Cables, Tools & AccessoriesAll cables (aRGB, PWM) and controllers needed to use & control the pump, fan and aRGB lighting are included. The accessory package also includes important tools like filling bottle, deburrer and pit saw. Thus, the construction of the custom loop can be started "out-of-the-box" immediately.。

It is suitable for assembly bonding and glazing applica-tions; its outstanding weathering resistivity and unique resistance to a wide variety of cleaning agents make it an ideal solution for use in exterior joints in the rail industry.Sikaflex®-268 is compatible with Sika’s black-primerless bonding process.Sikaflex®-268 can be accelerated with Sika’s Booster and PowerCure systems.PRODUCT BENEFITSResistant to a wide variety of cleaning agents▪Passes EN45545 R1/R7 HL3▪Curing can be accelerated with Sika Booster and Sika PowerCure▪Excellent weathering stability▪Very good processing and tooling character-istics▪Solvent-free▪AREAS OF APPLICATIONSikaflex®-268 is designed for assembly and direct-glazing applications in rail, the com-mercial vehicle industry and for the repair market. It exhibits excellent tooling and application properties. With its superior resistance to a wide range of cleaning agents combined with outstanding weathering resistance, it can be used for exterior joints.Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-268 on materials prone to stress cracking.Sikaflex®-268 is suitable for experienced pro-fessional users only. Test with actual sub-strates and conditions have to be performed ensuring adhesion and material compatibility.1 / 2CURE MECHANISMSikaflex®-268 cures by reaction with atmo-spheric moisture. At low temperatures the water content of the air is generally lower and the curing reaction proceeds somewhatslower (see diagram 1).Diagram 1: Curing speed Sikaflex®-268CHEMICAL RESISTANCESikaflex®-268 is generally resistant to fresh water, seawater, diluted acids and diluted caustic solutions; temporarily resistant to fuels, mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils; not resistant to organic acids, glycol-ic alcohol, concentrated mineral acids and caustic solutions or solvents. It is resistant to a wide range of rail cleaning agents if used according to the guidelines of the manufacturer. Some rail cleaning agents contain aggressive chemicals such as phos-phoric acids which may influence the durabil-ity of Sikaflex®-268 significantly. Therefore it is of highest importance to limit the exposure time to a minimum, observe correct dilution of cleaning agent and to perform a thorough rinsing after the cleaning process. Test newly introduced cleaning agents. The above information is offered for general guidance only. Advice on specific applications will be given on request.METHOD OF APPLICATION Surface Preparation Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Surface treatment de-pends on the specific nature of the substrates and is crucial for a long lasting bond. All pre-treatment steps must be confirmed by pre-liminary tests on original substrates consider-ing specific conditions in the assembly pro-cess.ApplicationSikaflex®-268 can be processed between 5 °C and 40 °C (climate and product) but changes in reactivity and application properties have to be considered. The optimum temperature for substrate and sealant is between 15 °C and 25 °C.Consider the viscosity increase at low temper-ature. For easy application, condition the ad-hesive at ambient temperature prior to use. To ensure a uniform thickness of the bondline it is recommend to apply the adhesive in formof a triangular bead (see figure 1).Figure 1: Recommended bead configurationSikaflex®-268 can be processed with hand, pneumatic or electric driven piston guns as well as pump equipment. The open time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climate. The parts must always be installed within the open time. Never join bonding parts if the ad-hesive has built a skin. For advice on selecting and setting up a suit-able pump system, contact the System Engin-eering Department of Sika Industry.Tooling and finishingTooling and finishing must be carried out within the open time of the adhesive. We re-commend the use of Sika® Tooling Agent N. Other finishing agents must be tested for suit-ability and compatibility.RemovalUncured Sikaflex®-268 can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or another suitable solvent. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.Hands and exposed skin have to be washed immediately using hand wipes such as Sika® Cleaner-350H or a suitable industrial hand cleaner and water. Do not use solvents on skin.FURTHER INFORMATIONThe information herein is offered for general guidance only. Tube-Tech CL 1B压力器说明书
TUBE-TECH CL1BCompressorDESCRIPTION.The TUBE-TECH compressor CL1B differs from many other compressors,in that the gain-reduction element is made from a non-semiconductor element, which in itself has a very low harmonic distortion and none of the non-linearity problems involved when using most semiconductor elements.Furthermore there is no long-term degradation of the element thus giving it almost infinite life. This element is placed after the input-transformer of the compressor and followed by an all tube-based amplifier with a gain of-∞dB to+30dB.Thus the signal is not fed through any semiconductor circuitry on its way to the output. The amplifier consists of two tubes(valves)in push-pull configuration(one ECC83as thepre-amp and phase splitter, and one ECC82as the output stage),and an output transformer. The power supply for the pre-amp and phase splitter are stabilized and the heaters of both tubes(valves)are fed with a stabilized DC voltage. The whole amplifier(including input and output transformer)and the power supplies are placed on one PC-board.Both input and output are balanced(600Ω)and fully floating. The in/out key switches the compressor in and out without clicks.THE SIDECHAIN:The side chain is the only part of the compressor that contains semiconductors. They are used for three reasons:First they do not affect the sound reproduction, second they have a high slew rate, which is of importance for the performance of the compressor and third they don't take up much room.It contains two J-FET quad op-amps,one npn-transistor and one FET-transistor,which handles the signal for the gain-reduction element. The compressor contains two time constants circuits:1.Fixed attack and release times2.Variable attack and release timesThe attack/release select switch makes it possible to use these two circuits separately or combine their functions. This gives a feature not normally obtained in other compressors:In the combined(fix./man.)state the attack-and release controls makes it possible toobtain a complex release-time slope.(See page4)(980112)COMPRESSOR INTERCONNECTION:The side chain sockets for interconnection of several compressors are located on the rear panel.A switch(BUS SELECT)on the front selects which compressors are interconnected, and on which bus they are connected. If you e.g.have10compressors in a rack, you can select compressor1,5,7and8on bus1,and compressor2,3,6and9on bus2,leaving compressor4 and6in the off position.Compressors1,5,7,8are now interconnected and all four will perform the exact same compression. This applies to compressor2,3,6and9as pressor4and6are independent. The interconnection implies, that the unit, which performs the most compression,is controlling the others. To choose which one you want to control, select the attack/release time, the threshold and the ratio on that unit, and turn the threshold fully counter clockwise on the reminding compressors. It is of course possible to have all the interconnected compressors control each other simultaneously.NB:Remember to set the ratio control and the gain control in the same position on the "slaves".Otherwise the stereo image could be shifted during compression.Theattack/release-control on the slaves will have no effect. The input/output capability of the side chain-circuit allows up to ten compressors to be linked together. They are connected in parallel with a standard1/4"stereo jack/-jack cord(tip:bus1,ring:bus 2).The two jack socket on the rear panel is connected in parallel and both are input/output.(980112)CONTROLS:GAIN:The gain control is used to"make up"for the gain loss, which takes place when the unit is compressing. It is placed after the gain-reduction circuitand therefore has no influence on the threshold setting. The gain-control iscontinuously variable from off to+30dB.RATIO:The ratio control varies the ratio by which the input signal is compressed. If the ratio selected is to2:1,and the input signal increases10dB,theoutput signal is only increased by5db.The ratio control is continuouslyvariable from2:1to10:1.THRESHOLD:The threshold is the point where the compressor begins its action. It isdefined as the point where the gain is reduced by1dB.The threshold is continuously variable from+20dBU to-40dBU. METER:The VU-meter switch has three positions:1.Input The meter is reading the level at the input socket.pressionThe VU-meter is reading gain reduction. Its rest position is"0VU",and the amount ofcompression is shown as a decreasing deflection indB.3.Output The VU-meter is reading the level at the output socket."0VU"is equivalent to+4dBU.NB:Leave the meter switch in position compression as it mightintroduce distortion if left in the input or output position.IN/OUT:This leverswitch switches the compressor in and out of the signal path. The out position bypasses the entire compressor.ATTACK:The attack control chooses how fast/slow the compressor responds to an increase in the input signal. The attack control is continuously variable from0.5to300milliseconds. RELEASE:The release control chooses how fast/slow the compressor responds to a decrease in the input signal. The release control is continuously variable from0,05to10seconds.(980112)ATTACK/RELEASE SELECT:This switch selects how the compressor reacts to an increase(attack)ordecrease(release)of the input signal. There are three settings of the switch:1.Fixed.Attack time:1msecRelease time:50msec2.Manual.Attack time:from0.5msec to300msecRelease time:from0.05sec to10sec3.Fix/man.This setting combines the release times of fixed and manualmode. The attack time is as in the fixed mode. The fix/man mode always has a fast attack, but it is possible to obtain a release time depending on the input signal,e.g.get a fast release when the peak disappears, then superseded shortly thereafter by the release time selected by the release control. From the time the peak disappears, until the selected release time takes over,is dependent upon the setting of the attack control. That is,the attack control changes function from a pure attack control,to a control of delay with the same time range. The more CW the attack control is turned, the longer time before the release controltakes over. The more CCW the attack control is turned, the shorter time before the release control takes over. This function is valid only if the time of the peak is shorter than the setting of the attack control. If the peak of the program is longer than the setting of the attack control,or if the attack control has reached the full CCW position,it will respond as in the manual mode. The fix/man mode acts as an automatic release function with a constant fast attack time and fast release time for short peaks and a longer release times for longer peaks. This setting is mainly intended for use on program material(overall compression).BUS SELECT:Interconnects several compressors on bus1or bus2.If the compressor is left in the off position,it works entirely independently.(980112)SUGGESTED APPLICATIONSOFTUBE-TECH COMPRESSOR CL1BIn the following, you will find suggestions on various applications of the TUBE-TECH compressorCL1B.They are given as a convenient guide to enable you to familiarise yourself with the different aspects of using the compressor. We have not mentioned specific settings of gain and threshold as they are dependent upon input levels.Instead we have specified how much compression in dB,we feel,is needed for the various examples.OVERALL COMPRESSION:FINAL MIXCOMPRESSION NEEDED:3-4dBAttack/release select:Fix/manAttack:2o'clockRelease:10o'clockRatio:9o'clockSTANDARD COMPRESSION:BASS,PIANO,GUITAR,KEYBOARDS AND VOCALSCOMPRESSION NEEDED:4-5dBAttack/release select:ManualAttack:2o'clockRelease:10o'clockRatio:10-2o'clockHEAVY COMPRESSION ON INSTRUMENTS:LINE GUITAR AND PIANOCOMPRESSION NEEDED:10dBAttack/release select:ManualAttack:7o'clockRelease:1o'clockRatio:3o'clockCOMPRESSION OF DRUMS:SNARE AND BASS DRUMCOMPRESSION NEEDED:2-3dBAttack/release select:FixedRatio:9-12o'clock(980112)ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE:CAUTION:Before making any adjustment let the unit heat-up at least15min.Observe that the offset-voltage measured at the side chain jack socket, when the THRESHOLD is off,is not greater than+/-15mV DC in both position"fixed"and "manual".(tip is bus1and ring is bus2).If the voltage exceeds this value, replace either IC1or IC2.THE GRE SHALL BE MARKED BETWEEN1.225-1.285ADJUSTMENT OF BASIC GAIN:1)Apply a signal of1kHz,-30,0dBU into the input of the compressor.2)Turn the GAIN-control fully clockwise.3)Set the RATIO-control at2:14)Adjust the pre-set GAIN(located on amp/psu PCB)to an output-reading of0,0dBU.ADJUSTMENT OF COMPRESSION TRACKING:1)Turn the THRESHOLD-control fully counter-clockwise.2)Set the RATIO-control at2:1.3)Set the BUS-select-switch at1.4)Apply a signal of1kHz,0,0dBU into the input of the compressor.5)Adjust the GAIN-control to an output-reading of0,0dBU.6)Apply a DC-voltage of+250,0mV into the side chain jack socket(tip)and observe thatthe output level has dropped to-10,0dB.7)If this is not the case, adjust the level with P2(P1)*,to obtain a drop of exactly-10,0dB. *The trimpots in parenthesis refers to PCB870316-0,1,2(980810)ADJUSTMENT OF THE VU METER READING"COMPRESSION":1)Turn the THRESHOLD-control fully counter-clockwise.2)Switch the METER-selector to Compression.3)Set the RATIO-control at2:14)Apply a signal of1kHz,0,0dBU into the input of the compressor.5)Adjust the GAIN-control to an output-reading of0,0dBU.6)Adjust P4(P2)*until the meter is reading0VU.7)Apply a DC-voltage of+250,0mV into the side chain jack socket and observe that theoutput level has dropped to-10,0dBU.If this is not the case, adjust the compressiontracking(see above)8Adjust P3until the meter is reading-10,0VU.9)Remove the DC-voltage from the side chain jack socket.10)Repeat step6-9.NB:The VU-meter accuracy should be within+/-0,5dB when reading compression. Clonezilla Basics for Windows Embedded说明书
Clonezilla Basics for Windows EmbeddedBy Sean D. Liming and John R. MalinAnnabooks –August 22, 2014Cloning a master image for mass production is an important step for Windows Embedded Standard and Windows Embedded Industry. First, the image must be rolled back to create the master, which is accomplished using sysprep. Here is an example command:Sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:c:\myunattend.xmlThe unattended XML file is a small answer file that handles several of the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) screens as well as accounts, run–time key, computer names, etc. There are those that say you don’t need sysprep, but failure to run sysprep and just copy the image can run into technical consequences. In short, one must run sysprep to duplicate the image.Once the image has been rolled back, the next step is to capture the master image for deployment to other systems. The books: Starter Guide for Windows® System Image Manager, Professional's Guide To Windows® Embedded 8 Standard, and Professional's Guide To Windows® Embedded Standard 7 - 2nd Edition cover creating the unattended file and running sysprep, but what is not covered is an actual full disk capture utility. There are several hardware disk duplication solutions for hard drive and compact flash cards. International Microsystems I nc. and Logicube are two companies that offer hardware duplication products. . There are also software solutions, but some of the most popular like Norton Ghost are going end-of-life in favor of licensed server-based solutions. Microsoft has solutions to capture partitions into WIM files, but when multiple partitions need to be captured, the WIM file solution is very cumbersome. Simple and inexpensive software image capture solutions are becoming hard to find. Luckily, the Linux community has developed a solution called Clonezilla that captures full disk images; and best of all, it is a free solution that can be used to capture a Windows Embedded master image. This paper walks through the steps to create a Clonezilla disk to capture and deploy a Windows Embedded master disk image. You will need two USB flash disks. One will hold the Clonezilla boot disk image (USB disk size 8 GB), and the other will hold the captured image (USB flash disk size 32 GB or greater recommended).Note: This paper is based on Clonezilla 2.2.3-25 live image. The steps and pictures will be different for later versions.Generate Clonezilla boot diskWe start on the development machine, and download a utility to help create the Clonezilla boot disk.1. Download Tuxboot from . The actual download comes from SourceForge.2. Format the smaller USB flash disk as FAT 32. Format the larger flash disk as exFAT.3. Plug the smaller USB flash disk into the development machine and run Tuxboot.4. The Tuxboot application will start. Make sure that clonezilla_live_stable is selected forthe On-Line Distribution. Also, point to the correct USB flash drive.5. Click OK to start the process. The Clonezilla ISO will be downloaded, mounted locally, and then copied over to the flash disk.6. Do not reboot when asked. Just Exit Tuxboot.7. Safely eject the USB flash drive.Capture Disk ImageNow, we move to the target system that holds the master image.1. Plug the Clonezilla boot disk that we just created into the target system.2. Boot the target and make sure the BIOS is set up to boot from the USB flash disk.3. The Clonezilla boot screen appears. Select Clonezilla Live (Default settings, VGAXXXxYYY) and hit Enter.4. The OS will load. Select English as the language to use and hit Enter.5. Keep the default Don’t touch keymap and hit Enter.6. The default Start_Clonezilla Start Clonezilla should be selected, hit Enter.7. In the next menu, select device-image work with disks or partitions using images asthe operation mode and hit Enter.8. The next menu is for the image directory. Keep the default, local_dev, and hit Enter.9. Insert the larger USB flash disk when prompted, wait about 5 seconds, and then hitEnter.10. The system will mount and prepare the UBS flash disk for the image. You will be askedfor the home directory to store the image. Select the USB flash disk image (sdx1) and hit Enter.11. The top directory is the default, hit Enter.12. A summary will appear, hit Enter.13. The clone wizard starts. Select Beginner and hit Enter.14. The Select Mode screen appears. Select save disk, and hit Enter.15. An image name with date has been started. Rename the image as you like. For example“Annabooks-2014-08-18-19-img”, hit Enter.16. The hard disk will be selected as the default source. Hit Enter.17. Select Skip checking/repairing source file system, hit Enter.18. Check save disk image option appears, the default is Yes, check the saved image. HitEnter.19. Hit Enter to continue.20. Click y at the prompt and hit Enter to begin the backup process.21. The capture and check process takes several minutes depending on image size. HitEnter when completed22. Select Poweroff to Power down the system, and hit Enter.23. Remove both flash disks after the target powers down.Deploy the Captured Disk ImageThe two USB disks to capture the image can now be used to deploy the image to other systems.1. Plug the Clonezilla boot disk into the target system.2. Boot the target and make sure the BIOS is setup to boot from the USB flash disk.3. In the next menu, select device-image work with disks or partitions using images asthe operation mode and hit Enter8. The next menu is for the image directory. The default is for local_dev, hit Enter.9. Select restoredisk and hit Enter.15. The system will search the disk for an image. Since there is only one image on the disk, itis already select, so hit Enter.16. Select the hard drive and hit Enter.17. Hit Enter again.19. One more time, enter y at the prompt and hit Enter.20. The process can take several minutes. Hit Enter when completed.21. Select to Poweroff to power down the system, and hit Enter.22. Remove both flash disks after the target powers down.23. Boot the system again and let the Windows cloning process run on the system.Once the master Clonezilla image has been created, it can be deployed any number of times to identical target hardware systems. This could easily be incorporated as part of the manufacturing process for an embedded system product.。
