Lesson 14 教学设计一、教学内容与分析1. Just practise本部分内容设计旨在使学生在语境中巩固操练、听说、认读主要目标语言We are going to Hangzhou by plane. We’re going to visit the West Lake there.词汇travel, know, hear, lake。
通过学习,学生能综合目标语言进行旅行计划的分享交流。
2. Just write本部分要求学生能在语境中理解、听说、读写、运用travel, know, hear, lake 等词汇以及句型We are going to Hangzhou by plane.并能用新词造句,在语境中更好地理解新词。
3. Let’s plan a trip本部分是同学间一起讨论旅行计划的情景对话,对话围绕目标语言We’re going to visit… 展开,对话内容主要涵盖两个方面:Look at the map of China and find an interesting place to visit Tell your classmates why you want to go there.通过合作表演对话,培养学生综合运用目标语言交流旅行信息的能力。
4. Let’s chant本部分是韵律诗。
教师引导学生运用自然拼读的方法,尝试拼读drink, dream, drive等含有dr字母组合的单词。
通过吟诵,感爱诗句末尾的韵脚似的韵律,培养语感,初步总结dr的发音规律。
主要目标语言:We are going to Hangzhou by plane.We’re going to visit the West Lake th ere.二、课前准备1. 准备音频、教学课件、词汇短语卡片。
2. 准备中国地图和主要城市景点图片等,作为表演时的辅助材料。
3. 学生准备自己感兴趣的景点图片。
三、教学步骤与建议1. 热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)1) 作品分享教师收集学生的家庭旅行计划,并向班级展示,师生共同阅读、欣赏、评价。
展本方法可以是展台或者是将学生作品分散张贴在黑板及教室四周墙壁上,组织学生有序走动、浏览阅读,并选出自己认为最好的三个作品,为其粘上sticker;如没有sticker,学生可以在自己认为最好的三个作品上画笑脸。
此环节为学生创造一种轻松愉悦的阅读分享氛围,将学生自然带入新知学习环节。
在同学们分享旅行计划时,学生离开自己的座位,浏览其他同学的旅行计划。
这种学习方式的转变,可激发和保持学生的学习兴趣与热情。
2) 巩固所学教师选出1〜2名学生的家庭旅行计划,呈现在大屏幕上,请作者到前面来接受大家的访问,全班同学作采访者,对被采访者进行开放式提问,以此操练旅行计划的对话,旨在复习第13课中出现的主要目标语言Where are you going to travel/visit on May Day /during this summer holiday? We’re going to travel/visit __________.It is in the ______ of China. It’s in______ Province. It’s famous for__________. / The most famous place there is _____________. 此活动为学生能够询问他人或表达自己家人的旅行计划做知识上的准备,同时轻松进入新知学习。
2. 新课呈现(Presentation)本课时新知内容少而精,更侧重于语言操练,所以建议教师教学本课时采取精讲多练的方式组织教学。
1) 听音模仿教师播放Just practise的录音,学生打开书,听音、阅读文字,然后回答问题How are they going to Shanghai/Xi’an/Wuhan? Where are they going to visit? Why do you want to go there? 建议教师不要以一问一答的形式与学生问答对话,而要集中出现一组向题,请学生用几句话的独立语段回答,培养学生完整表达的能力,增强表达的逻辑性和深度。
2) 书写巩固教师请个别学生在黑板或实物展台上示范板书Just write部分的单词知句子,其他同学在英文本上书写。
教师引导学生边写边读,调动多种感官,在理解的基础上熟记词句。
3. 趣味操练(Practice)1) 教师结合本课重点学习的句型,布置学生两人一组对学生用书第27页的六幅图文进行替换搡练。
例如:(1) We’re going to Shanghai by plane.(2) We’re going to Xi’an by train.(3) We’re going to Wuhan by ship.2) 在操练书中六幅图文的基础上,教师可启发学生自主拓展到其他城市及乘坐的交通工具。
通过以上两项活动,使学生能熟练地掌握与运用by plane/train/ship等。
3) 拼读小诗,感受韵律。
Let’s chant中的小诗内容非常有趣,描述的是司机Dred有一个开大卡车的梦想,他品咖啡,像鸭子一样慢慢喝水,为了好运气,驾驶的速度很慢。
首先,感受dr的发音和整首诗的韵律。
教师播放Let’s chant的录音,学生认真感受dr在单词Dred, dream, drink, drive中的发音。
其次,教师引导学生找出每个诗句结尾押韵的部分,tr uck, m ug, d uck, l uck 中的斜体是押韵的部分,即韵脚。
最后,反复诵读,体会韵律。
吟诵时,建议教师提醒学生注意节拍、短暂停顿、韵脚部分发音的准确。
4. 语言运用(Language use )1) 创设情境教师播放Let’s plan a trip录音,听音前,教师向学生提问What’s the dialogue about?使学生整体感知Let’s plan a trip的情境。
此环节培养学生整体感知语篇的能力,学生通过听音阅读,加深对语篇大意、核心语言的理解。
2) 创编对话教师组织学生2〜4人一组,根据学生用书第28页课文插图,创编并表演主题为Let’s plan a trip的对话。
语言参考:A: ______holiday is coming. Where are you going to travel/visit on May Day /during this summer holiday? / Where do you want to visit?B: I’m going to trav el/visit __________. / I want to visit ______________. It is in the _________of China. It’s in ______ Province.A: Why do you want to go there?B: It’s famous for ______. /The most famous place there is _____________.A: What do you think about _______________?B: It’s________________.在此环节,教师引导学生灵活运用参考语言,将以往所学相关内容增加到对话中,丰富对话内容;借助中国地图或城市景区图,直观呈现旅游目的地所在位置及主要景点,辅助对话表达。
3) 表演对话学生分小组展示对话,教师引导其他学生点评小组对话。
5. 课堂评价(Assessment)1) 课堂教学过程中的评价(1) 在Let’s c hant环节,除了通过听音模仿,让学生感知dr在单词中的发音外,还要引导学生通过反复诵读韵律诗,感受韵律、节拍、韵脚、短暂停顿。
学生们互相评价的重点是读音准确、有韵律感。
(2) 在语言运用环节,学生小组汇报时,教师引导学生开展生生评价,主要从内容、情境、语音、语调、语气、情感表达、表演、合作等方面评价。
教师将评价活动与综合语用活动有效结合,充分发挥学生在评价中的主体作用。
(3) 在教学过程中的个体评价,建议教师结合本节内容,给予学生具体的语言评价,如What a nice travel plan! What an interesting place! It’s amazing. It’s fantastic! 等等,促进每个学生的进步。
2) 教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中的相关内容,并进行评价。
6. 拓展活动(Extended activities)引导学生继续深化第13课制订旅行计划的拓展活动,参考以下语言,增加旅行计划活页内容,积累到英语学习档案袋中,激发学生运用所学语言做事的兴趣,巩固所学。
