英语对我们来说是第二语言，对于很多学生来说学英语是有一定难度的。
小学生的心理和生理发育的特点决定了教师激励性语言的重要性，对学生要以鼓励为主。
激励性语言运用得当可以促使学生学业进步。
本文就从心理学、教育学等角度谈谈赏识教育在小学英语课堂中的重要性及激励性语言的运用措施。

一、目前我国小学英语课堂用语的现状分析英语是当今世界的通用语言，我国早在19世纪初就引入英语教育。
21世纪初，在教育部的大力推动下，我国小学阶段三年级开始全面推行英语教育，由此我国小学英语教育进入快速发展时期。
但是在实际的小学英语课堂中，教师常常只注重把教学过程很好地呈现出来，而忽视学生的心理活动。
我查阅了相关文献资料，也深入了解了小学英语课堂并与一线小学英语教师进行了沟通，发现小学英语课堂用语方面普遍存在的问题有如下几点：1.教师有赏识教育的理念，但激励性语言比较单一，重复性较多。
由于新课改的深入人心，很多一线教师在探索新的教育方法，小学教育属于基础教育，小学生有着独特的生理及心理发展特点。
小学生一般是6-12岁，正处于“勤奋感对自卑感”的阶段。
这个阶段的儿童开始进入学校学习，并且面临家庭、学校及同学的各种要求和挑战，每个人都想做一个有价值的人，谁给我价值感我就靠近谁。
正因为如此，如果儿童在这个阶段体验得好，对于以后形成勤奋的特质来面对社会生活是很有帮助的，所以这个阶段教师、家庭及社会等各方面对于学生的鼓励是必要的。
基于这样的特点，教师在课堂中的教学评价就非常重要。
适度的评价可以激励学生，而不恰当的评价方式有可能造成学生在这一阶段学业颓废，对他以后的发展不利。
3.建立良好的师生关系。
因为不喜欢一门课程的教师而对一门课程失去学习兴趣，这样的现象在初中教学阶段并不少见，教师要提起重视，与学生建立起良好的师生关系，用自己的人格魅力来转化学困生。
