教材分析一、 SectionA分析:1、教材内容分析:本单元的主题图呈现了两个画面,左图是一个女孩不堪重负的学习画面,右图是女孩上课外钢琴课的场景。

从这两个画面可看出本单元的中心话题与学生实际生活紧密相关,主要探讨当代中小学生所面临的种种压力和困境,并针对这些问题给予合理的建议。

1a-2d通过图文及听力活动导入单元话题。

1a首先用不同句式呈现了学生常见的各种烦恼或抱怨,1b通过听呈现了单元话题,并输入单元目标语言1c则要求学生针对本单元话题词汇和句型进行简单的口头操练,完成最基本的语言输出。

2a-2d通过听和说的互动方式深化和拓展本单元话题内容,增加了不喜欢各种劝告的理由,使对话更生动更真实。

2a主要训练学生对情态动词could和的辨音能力。

2b引导学生关注细节,有选择的听。

2c和2d是在听的基础上进行口语操练。

2、语法内容分析:SectionA部分的教学重点是关于征求和给予对方建议的表达用语,教学难点是与烦恼、抱怨和建议相关的大量短语搭配。

二、课时划分:基于对教材内容的分析和学情调查分析,确定Section A分三课时完成。

第一课时完成1a-2c.本课为第一课时,因为考虑到学生对本节课的话题感同身受,肯定会有大量的问题和烦恼想利用本节课的目标语言进行表达,于是想给学生更多的时间来表达与释放,更充分的练习本节课的目标语言。

因此我将本节课的内容划分为1a-2c.第二课时完成2d-3c。

第三课时完成3a-Self Check的任务.三、本课内容分析:本节课是人教版初中英语八年级下册Unit 4 SectionA(1a-2c)。

主要通过学习孩子们在日常生活中的问题并有针对性地提出合理性的建议来进一步学习情态动词的用法。

以此来培养学生关心他人,提出合理建议的品质。

Section A 3a通过一篇短文来介绍了一个孩子的问题及针对其问题所给出的建议,增加了学生的阅读量。

Section B 安排了听、说、读、写的任务,教师在教学中应合理利用课本上的知识进行教学。

通过一篇短文“Maybe You Should Learn to Relax! ”,对学生进行阅读技巧的指导。

2.教学对象分析八年级学生,在本学期第一单元,已经学习了询问身体不适以及给出相应建议的句型。
