在此前英语学习中，学生已经学习过如何表达去表达自己的喜好，如I like...，也学会询问别人的喜好，如What do you like? What does he/she like?从中延伸出来的新的句型是本单元的句型结构Does he/she like doing...? Yes,he/ she does. 学生比较熟悉，大部分重点词汇，如football，basketball，volleyball都是学生在以往的学习拓展中接触过的，学生比较喜爱、熟悉本单元的话题和知识。

下面对本课进行分析。
一、说教材《The Great Wall》是语文岀版社出版的基础模块下册第一单元，起到衔接上、下册教材的作用，是学生进一步巩固和提高英语水平的依托，是学生英语水平进入新阶段的关键一课。
通过对本课的学习和讨论，使学生学会与长城相关的词汇和句型，并能够自由的表达自己的观点和看法，增强口头表达技巧和英语实际运用能力。
二、说学情通过上个学期的学习，医护33、34班的学生英语基础有一定的提高，在各个方面都有了的进步，但学习程度参差不齐，虽然一部分学生能够在课堂上跟上老师的步伐，学习态度较为认真，但是基于学生词汇积累少，缺少用英语进行交流的机会，还不能够完全独立的运用英语进行交流，需要通过小组合作和教师帮助。
但本课话题是学生所熟悉的内容，文章相对易于理解。
三、说教学目标根据本教材的结构和内容分析，结合学生的认知结构以及心理特征，我制订了以下的学目标：1、知识目标：掌握本单元的重点词汇以及句型。
