这样可以激发学生的学习兴趣,有效地提高课堂效率。
学情分析八年级的学生经过一年半的学习,有了一定的英语基础,词汇量及学习方法已初步形成。
但是阅读始终是学生的一大难题。
阅读作为获取语言文化知识,了解外部信息,提高语言实践能力的重要手段,是中学英语教学的侧重点。
教学大纲从六个方面对此作了详尽的阐述,使阅读教学的要求、任务更加具体明确。
但是在具体教学中,很多学生还是存在阅读理解能力提高缓慢,深层含义理解能力不强的问题。
少数学生步履艰难,阅读无速度、无效率。
无法从阅读中寻求知识乐趣。
同时因为投入了一定的时间没有取得理想效果而挫伤积极性进而对英语失去兴趣。
通过平时阅读教学,我们认为学生的阅读一般存在如下几个问题:一、词汇词汇是语言的建筑材料,是理解的基础,也是学生阅读理解的最大障碍。
主要表现为:(一)词汇量略显不足(二)词义理解不准受先入为主的影响,学生掌握某一单词的意义往往是最初接识的或核心意义。
在日后不断学习的过程中没有随时丰富所学词汇的扩展、延伸和转借等意义。
(三)构词法不重视教学大纲公布的几个前后缀常是教学的遗忘点。
一方面学生没有利用这些前后缀去扩大词汇量,另一方面因为忽视而不认识由它们构成的单词。
二、句法一个完整意思的理解是以句子为单位的。
而句意的正确理解要求掌握句子结构。
“英语句子结构模式的掌握,是高效英语阅读的前提。
”由于表达的需要,英语句子结构富于变化。
学生句子结构模式不熟,在阅读中就会因弄不清句子结构而无法理解句子意义。
三、篇章理解的能力很多学生具备了一定的语言基础知识。
但由于篇章理解能力不强,导致阅读质量不高。
篇章知识方面一般存在以下问题:(一)阅读不分文体(二)阅读忽视关联词(三)阅读不分主次在文章的主要段落,作者一般提出他的观点,看法,表明主题。
在次要段落,则以事实、例证来支持或反驳某一观点。
阅读不善于判断主次段落就会混淆文章大意,在短时间内找不出文章的主题和作者的主要观点。
(四)指代、替代理解不明确四、相关背景知识阅读理解的水平与层次和学生个人的知识体验相关。
相关的背景知识直接影响着阅读理解和速度。
受语言学习环境和条件的影响,我国学生缺乏英语语言国家的民族文化背景、社会行为模式、价值观念、历史、地理等方面知识。
学生只能依据材料本身提供的信息去理解阅读材料。
信息量不足难以产生合理的推测和联想,导致学生理解困难,判断失误。
五、不良阅读习惯学生的不良阅读习惯主要来自口、眼、手的多余动作。
(一)回视重读因担心遗漏细节、要点内容,或阅读材料超出学生的知识阅读理解范围重读阅读材料。
频繁的回视重读使阅读失去连贯性和整体性。
(二)心读、默读在文字符号和意义之间加入声音,直接影响着阅读速度。
阅读研究揭示,眼脑可以直映阅读内容,因为“词的意义在字形之中,而不是在声音之中。
”(三)指向阅读手指或笔指着一个个单词阅读。
阅读速度受制于手或笔的移动。
逐词阅读造成视幅狭小,无法形成意群阅读和理解。
效果分析教育的目的是为了学生在个性得到发展的同时,更善于合作和交流,使其成为社会主义建设中富有实践能力和创新精神的有用人才。
在新课程教学改革的教育理念指导下,这一节课在教学设计上,立足于学生三维目标的形成,注重学生英语阅读能力的培养,。
学生既可以从中养成良好的学习习惯;又可以使其个性得到发展;更可以在学习过程充分体验到掌握知识,解决问题的成功喜悦,由此逐步乐学好学!作为阅读课,本节信息量巨大,抄练环节多,这在传统课堂上是无法有效实现的,需要借助多媒体平台。
利用直观的视频图片,色彩鲜明的字体,激发了学生兴趣,降低了学习难度,突破了重难点,有效地缩小两极分化。
教材分析本堂课是一节阅读课。
课文内容是介绍美国的感恩节来历、意义和庆祝方式,并通过庆祝方式引出该节日的传统食物—火鸡。
阅读后过渡到中国的传统节日和食物,注重中外传统文化,尤其是饮食文化的对比,反映了新版教材中,既要树立学生在文化学习中的世界观念,又要注重中国传统文化的传承的理念。
文章内容—感恩节贴近学生生活实际,能充分激发学生的学习兴趣和调动学生的学习积极性。
本节课主要训练和强化学生的阅读能力及技巧。
并在学习过程中,会注重学生个体活动和小组合作学习。
评测练习设计目的:在学生的自主学习与探究过程中,教师通过观察学生们在各项活动中的表现,从学生的自学状况及参与探究活动的积极性、交流讨论和发表见解的情况作出综合的评价,并给予恰当的反馈以激励学生进步,评价方式包括:教师赞扬的话语,赞许的表情,师生鼓掌等。

本课时较好地完成了教学目标,在阅读活动中,注重引导学生既能通过阅读标题和图片获取知识,又能把通过阅读获得知识,与同学、教师进行交流和讨论,得出结论。
这些课堂实践不但有利于学生获得知识和技能,也培养了学生英语阅读的正确学习方法。
因教学内容较多,学习速度有点快,部分基础较差的学生不能主动参与学习,以后在课堂上要给予这部分学生更多的关注。
