General Move Sequence (GMS)
• example : 1. walk 3 steps 2. bend and rise to pick up the object 3. Walk 3 steps back and place the object A6 B6 G1 A6 B0 P1 A0 sum of indices = 20 TMU = 20 x 10 = 200 or 7.2 sec

Action Distance Parameter - A
• A3 denotes 1 – 2 steps - out of reach object which requires 1 – 2 steps of body displacement • A 6 denotes 3 – 4 steps • A 10 denotes 5 – 7 steps • A 16 denotes 8 – 10 steps • 1 step ~ 30” (example: 10’ = 12’/30” x 10’ = 4 steps) • please refer to MOST data card for more index

Rating Scale of Basic MOST
• The basic MOST system is a rating scale of 82 BSI (British Standards Institute) built into the PMTS (Pre-determined motion time standard) value. • This PMTS value assumes that a qualified operator with the necessary training and practice would be able to achieve the time set from proper analysis of work methods • 75 BSI ~ normal level • 82 BSI ~ qualified level • 100 BSI ~ motivated level
