When it comes to the issue of various parties and celebrations, divided opinions emerge. In the essay, both the dark and bright side of them will be expounded. On the one side, parties have many benefits. Superficially speaking, they enrich a person’s life. One can get away with daily routines and enjoy delicious foods, wines, music and dances. Also, he or she can make new friends with whom same and similar hobbies can be shared. It is said that people become more innovative and creative when they relax from time to time and meet new friends. Profoundly speaking, wedding parties and promotion celebrations enable couples and family members to form a closerbond. To be pragmatic, celebrations might offer a great opportunity for salespeople to promote their products or for the businessmen to find their partners. On the other side, drawbacks of celebrations can never be ignored. The most obvious shortcoming is that there can be large amount of wastes of foods, beverages and disposable interior decorations. What’s more, some parties might trigger family frictions. For instance, parents may blame the young for coming home too lately while couples may suspect the loyalty of their spouses. Extreme cases such as adolescents running away from homes and husband and wife getting a divorce are not rare. Apart from that, parties and celebrations may occupy the time which are originally set aside for studying or working, which may lead to poor academic results and limited career prospects. In conclusion, parties and celebration can be both a blessing and a curse. It is only through living the most appropriate frequency of holding and attending such events can a person enjoy life to the maximum extent.(282 words)2016年7月16日雅思G类考试大作文范文。

The prompt you provided asks me to write a short essayin two languages. I will first answer the prompt in English and then provide a Chinese translation of my response. In my essay, I will discuss the importance of communication in human relationships. Communication is essential for building and maintaining strong relationships. It allows us to express our thoughts and feelings, to understand each other, and to resolve conflicts. Without communication, relationships would be impossible. There are many different ways to communicate. We can communicate verbally, through writing, through body language, and through touch. Each of these methods of communication has its own strengths and weaknesses. Verbal communication is the most direct way to communicate, but it can also be the most difficult. Writing allows us toexpress our thoughts and feelings in a more organized and thoughtful way, but it can be less personal than verbal communication. Body language can communicate a lot about our thoughts and feelings, but it can also be difficult to interpret. Touch is a powerful way to communicate intimacy and connection, but it can also be intrusive. The best way to communicate is to use a combination of different methods. This will allow you to express yourself in a way that is both clear and effective.

The passage discusses the concept of "aesthetic experience," arguing that it is a subjective and personal experience that cannot be quantified or measured. The author draws on the work of several philosophers and psychologists to support this claim, including Kant, Dewey, and Langer.Kant argues that aesthetic experience is adisinterested pleasure, meaning that it is not motivated by any desire for a particular outcome. He also argues that aesthetic experience is universal, meaning that it is not limited to any particular culture or time period.Dewey argues that aesthetic experience is a form of active engagement with the world. He believes that aesthetic experience is not simply a matter of passively receiving pleasure from an object, but rather a process ofactively creating meaning and understanding.Langer argues that aesthetic experience is a form of symbolic expression. She believes that art is a way of communicating ideas and emotions that cannot be expressed through language. The author concludes by arguing that aesthetic experience is a valuable and important part of human life. He believes that aesthetic experience can help us to understand ourselves and the world around us.

The topic of 'The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health' has become increasingly relevant in today's society, as the use of social media platforms continues to rise. With the advent of technology, social media has become an integral part of our daily lives, influencing the way we communicate, interact, and perceive the world around us. In this essay, I will delve into the historical background and development of social media, analyze different perspectives on its impact on mental health, provide case studies and examples to illustrate key points, offer a critical evaluation of the topic, and conclude with future implications and recommendations.Social media has its roots in the early forms of online communication, such as bulletin board systems and chat rooms, which eventually evolved into platformslike Friendster and MySpace in the early 2000s. The rise of social media giants like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat has revolutionized the way we connect with others, share information, and consume content. The accessibility and convenience of social media have made it an indispensable tool for communication and networking, shaping the way we form relationships and express ourselves. From a historical perspective, the development of social media has been marked by rapid growth and innovation, leading to profound changes in how we engage with the world around us. The widespread adoption of social media has transformed the way we access information, stay connected with others, and express our thoughts and opinions. As social media continues to evolve, its impact on mental health has come under scrutiny, prompting a closer examination of its effects on individuals and society as a whole. The impact of social media on mental health is a topic of considerable debate, with diverging perspectives on its influence. On one hand, proponents argue that social media can provide a sense of community and support, allowing individuals to connect with like-minded people and access resources for mental health. For example, online support groups and communities on platforms like Reddit andFacebook can offer a space for individuals to share their experiences, seek advice, and find solidarity in their struggles. On the other hand, critics raise concerns about the negative effects of social media on mental health, pointing to issues such as cyberbullying, social comparison, and the addictive nature of these platforms. The constant exposure to curated and idealized versions of others' lives on social media can lead tofeelings of inadequacy, anxiety, and depression, as individuals compare themselves to unrealistic standards. Moreover, the prevalence of cyberbullying and online harassment can have detrimental effects on mental well-being, especially among young people who are more vulnerable to these negative experiences. To illustrate the impact of social media on mental health, let us consider the case of a young woman named Sarah, who struggled with body image issues exacerbated by her use of social media. Sarah constantly compared herself to the edited and filtered images of influencers and celebrities on Instagram, leading to feelings of insecurity and low self-esteem. This negative self-perception took a toll on her mental health, contributing to symptoms of depression and anxiety. Despite the potential for social media to connect people and foster a sense of community, Sarah's experience highlights the detrimental effects it can have on an individual's well-being.In evaluating the impact of social media on mental health, it is essential to recognize both its benefits and drawbacks. On one hand, social media can serve asa valuable platform for raising awareness about mental health issues, providing support to those in need, and fostering a sense of belonging and community. The ability to connect with others and share personal experiences can reduce thestigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations about well-being.On the other hand, the pervasive use of social media can contribute tofeelings of isolation, anxiety, and low self-esteem, as individuals are bombarded with unrealistic standards and negative interactions online. The addictive nature of social media, characterized by endless scrolling and constant engagement, canalso detract from real-world experiences and hinder meaningful connections with others. Moreover, the commodification of personal data and the spread of misinformation on social media raise concerns about privacy and the impact offalse information on mental well-being.Looking ahead, it is crucial to consider the future implications of social media on mental health and develop recommendations for promoting a healthier relationship with these platforms. Educating individuals about the potential risks of excessive social media use and providing resources for digital well-being can empower users to navigate these platforms mindfully. Encouraging open dialogue about the impact of social media on mental health and promoting positive online behaviors can foster a more supportive and inclusive digital environment. In conclusion, the impact of social media on mental health is a complex and multifaceted issue that warrants careful consideration. While social media has the potential to facilitate connections, raise awareness, and provide support for mental health, it also poses significant challenges and risks. By critically evaluating the impact of social media on mental health and exploring ways to mitigate its negative effects, we can strive to create a more balanced andpositive digital landscape for individuals and communities alike.。

Job hopping and changing places of accommodation have popular in these days. While some people prefer to stick to the same job and living area all life long, I think that some changes can lead to desirable consequences.People who stay with the same organization have the advantage of thoroughly understanding the process of operation at work and also becoming more familiar with the staff. If they work hard, their promotion prospects are good and there is likely to be greater job Security, with promise of a good pension when they retire.Traditionally, employers value loyalty and may offer additional incentives to long-term employees. However, many employers today value more of their employees’ capabilities and devotion during their time staying in the company. Besides, many companies prefer a change of blood from time to time to maintain their competitiveness and vitality.Today, moving from one organization to another can be seen as a strategic decision in order to have variety and acquire a range of skills and experience. Also, for most people they get their first job they have little idea whether or not they will remain in the organization throughout their working life. So it might be unreasonable to stop giving themselves some chances to explore in terms of their career prospects.Nowadays, modern telecommunication and computer technologies have granted people the chance of working at home and free to choose location of residences without worrying the commuting home and office. And people tend to move to different place for better education and medical resources for their families when they reach certain age of life or they prefer to settle cities or towns where they could lead a more peaceful way of life.Overall, I believe that, as it is planned carefully, change can be positive in people’s choice of life.。

The advent of the internet has come with a plethora of implications, many of which have been highly beneficial to society. However, the proliferation of false and misleading information on the internet has become a major concern, raising questions about its reliability as a source of knowledge and its potential negative impacts on individuals and society as a whole. One of the primary challenges with the internet is the ease with which false information can be disseminated and amplified. With minimal oversight or regulation, individuals can create and share content without any regard for its accuracy or veracity. This has led to an environment where misinformation and disinformation thrive, often with alarming speed and reach. The consequences of this abundance of false informationcan be far-reaching. For instance, in the realm of health, individuals may encounter misleading or inaccurate information about illnesses and treatments, potentially leading to detrimental health decisions. In the political sphere, false information can fuel polarization and undermine public trust, potentially destabilizing societies and eroding democratic institutions.Compounding the issue is the growing prevalence of echo chambers and confirmation bias on the internet. Social media algorithms often present users with content that aligns with their existing beliefs and preferences, further reinforcing their biases and making them less likely to encounter alternative perspectives. This creates a cycle where misinformation and disinformation can flourish unchecked, as individuals become insulated from opposing viewpoints. To address the challenges posed by false information on the internet, a multi-pronged approach is necessary. Education plays a crucial role in equipping individuals with the skills to critically evaluate online content andidentify potential misinformation. Media literacyinitiatives can help people understand how information is produced and disseminated, enabling them to make informed judgments about its reliability.Additionally, technological solutions can be employed to combat false information. Automated fact-checking tools can be used to flag potentially misleading content, while platforms can implement stricter policies to discourage the spread of misinformation. However, it is important tostrike a balance between combating false information and preserving freedom of speech and expression.Ultimately, the responsibility for addressing false information on the internet lies not only with individuals and technology companies but also with governments and policymakers. Clear guidelines and regulations are needed to ensure that online platforms are held accountable for the content they host.

It goes through three steps: firstly, it is sieved so as to be separated from all the other rubbish or substances. Then, it is optically sorted, after which, the bottles will be manually checked in order to guarantee that no other substance is left in the plastic raw material. After the careful selecting system, the chosen bottles will be grinded into pieces, and later been washed in hot water. When the plastic slices are thoroughly washed, they would bedecontaminated in special equipments. Currently, the driverless vehicles are being put into trial in China, and some achievements have been made on the prescribed roads. It seems to me that although there is no question that self-driving vehicles could be an enormous benefit, the demerits of the application of driverless overshadow its merits at present.First of all, the use of driverless cars may exert several social problems. On the one hand, the popularity of autopilot will inevitably make professional drivers lose their jobs by driving business vehicles. It is because that a self driving lorry without faults can operate continuously and ensure safety for 24 hours,by which I mean it can produce multiple benefits that human driving is hard to achieve. On the other hand, driverless has also greatly increased car ownership. In other words, according to the characteristics of autopilot, some people who do not have the driving ability may also have this kind of transportation. The number of cars will increase substantially, but this is not always a good thing, which may bring some other problems, such as parking spaces will become more intense.Second, the popularity of driverless also has great potential risks. Autopilot is more like a robot, which is controlled by established procedures and AI chips. For all automated systems, there is always a risk of hacking or crashing because of faults or bug,by which I mean if hackers can enter the vehicle system, and the car may be controlled to do anything. Moreover, after the accident, it is difficult for us to determine the responsible party of the accident, so that the victims cannot get due compensation. There is no denying that driverless applications can save lives. According to statistics, 90% of the road traffic accidents are caused by human errors, including the proportion of distraction, fatigue, drunk driving and speeding. A total of 1 million 300 thousand people are killed every year in the world, with 60 thousand people in China alone, but the self driving vehicle will eliminate all the accidents caused by human error factors, which will greatly reduce the incidence of accidents. However, all this needs to be built on the basis of the technology improvement of the driverless car itself and its supporting system equipment, such as cameras, navigation, etc., otherwise, driverless driving will bring disaster to people. In conclusion, at present, unmanned driving technology is still more drawbacks than benefits, but if the government and related technology research and development can make further efforts, we believe that this technology can be effectively applied in the future. After all, unmanned driving is the first step for human beings to move towards the AI era. 2:There have been fierce arguments over the possible impact of driverless transport systems upon people. Much as the dispute in favor of the disadvantages of this development is legitimate, I believe they are still outweighed by the advantages. On the one hand, some certain drawbacks of driverless vehicles are undeniable. Firstly, the functioning programs can never be constructed as sophisticated as human brains. In emergent situations in which immediate reaction is needed, experienced drivers can make the wise decision as soon as possible, while computers may be overloaded with too much information to figure out the next reasonable step. In the future time, daily performances of artificial intelligence that handle the consoles of vehicles always go along with an enormous amount of stress from congestion and accidence, hence the higher demand for complicated system update and maintenance. Secondly, it may also cause serious social problems as thousands of drivers lost their jobs and needed retraining to another occupation. On the other hand, I would argue that the development of driverless vehicles presents more advantages. Computer applications are equipped with good driving habits since they were ‘born’, and thus bad driving habits like driving while tired or drunk, and playing mobile phones while driving, are eliminated from the roots. In this way, driverless routines alleviate the burden of governments to promote road safety by correcting bad driving habits. More significantly, with a well-developed transport system, much time and resources can be saved to promote a more efficient economy and city life. Much labor will free from monotonous driving and concentrate on their work or communication with family members and friends. Especially the planned and unanimous of routine for vehicles are likely to solve the traffic problems in the town area.In conclusion, although the concern about the reliable response of machines and the possible unemployment of people, I still think that the benefits are more significant.。

As a result of the accelerating process of globalization in various aspects, young people in different countries are more likely to enjoy the same music, films, or television programs, which invariably result in some similarities. Some people may claim that it is more a curse than a blessing for the world. One argument commonly raised that this process will be damaging to the globe diversity. When locals are bombarded with foreign products or culture, they may gradually abandon their traditional values or ways of life, so this would have a negative impact on their national or cultural identities in the long run. They even quote numerous examples such as the Eskimo in Iceland and Mosuo ethnic group in Southwest China to illustrate their point of view. While this is particularly true of some minority cultures, I want to point out that they are still special cases instead of the general rule.Generally speaking, sharing something across the globe can contribute to a deeper mutual understanding between different nations. For example, a piece of country music by John Denver may well shed light on the peaceful daily life of Americans while a pop song by Cui Jian may introduce to Westerners a much more familiar China. What is more, an experience of some alien cultures may encourage more appreciation of the local ones, rather than assimilation or malfunction. There is overwhelming evidence on this when we consider japan, or China, or even the US, which tend to incorporate theinternational elements into the local. To conclude, I am quite optimistic about the prospect of an increasingly similar world. Of course, some minority groups may be put at a disadvantage for they cannot receive equal attention as the superpowers. So I also advocate that governments or other bodies should make efforts to bring these minorities into the international horizon.B卷参考范文Knowledge is power, Francis bacon wrote long ago. Education has a key to play in one’s growth and a nation’s development.Education is the driving force of productivity. Keeping this in mind, numerous countries and governments are paying closer attention to the cultivation of talents. People differ greatly in their views as to how to wisely allocate educational budget, some people assert that instead of supporting other subjects, national investment in science is desirable. As I see it, government should place equal stress on both science and arts.Granted, plenty of evidence and arguments could be easily found to prove that it is advisable for a nation to subsidize science. For a start, the competition among different countries, to some extent, amounts to the competition of gifted people. Science and technology is the stimulating factor of the development of productivity. Large amounts of talents could inject new life into a nation’s prosperity. Besides, in comparison with art students, those who are better equipped with science knowledge such as computer, business and accounting could create more commercial value.Nevertheless, it is rather superficial to simply say that national budget should be only restricted to science investment. The mightiness of a nation involves many aspects and the cultivati on of good citizens or talents is to realize one’s comprehensive development. The construction of a country needs enterprisers, mathematicians and scientist, yet, on no account can we ignore the immense value of artists, writers, musicians. In addition to science subjects, literature, history, philosophy, music, art and PE should also become the aim of education. Literature strengthens one’s cultural deposit, history deepens one’s insight into life, philosophy fosters one’s analytical thinking, music moulds one’s temperament, art cultivates one’s artistic eye and PE enhances one’s health index. In these senses, art still deserves enough attachment and support. Art talents are indispensable to the betterment of a country.Overall, I re-affirm my conviction that education should not have too much utilitarian, conversely, it needs to render more concerns over one’s spiritual growth and character-training. Ideal educational policy should place equal significance on science investment and other subjects.

Body 1The first of these is mounting uncertainty. Having a degree in IT simply may not be a springboard directly into career; frenetic work force expansion since dotcom mania two2decades ago has highlighted recent big job cuts at the tech industry, where behemoths like Google, Meta and Microsoft promised further trimming of labors for more funds into artificial intelligence investment. The second culprit is economic and academic barrier. Monstrously high expenses required for overseas education has kept straitened wannabes at bay, while those wealthy wannabes may find themselves lack of access to learning resources in most cutting-edge domains, notably wafer fabrication, generative modelling and chipmaking. The third factor is a greater percentage of people going back to college, as senior employees are becoming more and more agitated to finish a less demanding major —typically non-scientific—due to the workplace's inflation of academic qualifications.

In the realm of education, a myriad of methodologies vie for supremacy, each boasting unique advantages and drawbacks. Prominent among these approaches are the traditional teacher-centered learning model and its contemporary counterpart, student-centered learning. While both models possess merits and weaknesses, the latter has emerged as the more progressive and effective approach for fostering critical thinking, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the overall learning experience. The traditional teacher-centered model, often referred to as "chalk and talk," is characterized by the teacher's primary role as the transmitter of knowledge. Students assume a passive role, absorbing information disseminated through lectures and rote memorization. While this method may be efficient in imparting factual knowledge, it does little to develop students' higher-order thinking skills orstimulate their creativity. In contrast, student-centered learning places the learner at the epicenter of the educational process. Students become active agents, engaging in interactive activities, problem-solving, and collaborative projects. The teacher's role shifts from that of a dispenser of knowledge to a facilitator who guides students' discovery and understanding. This approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills, preparing students to thrive in the 21st century's dynamic and complex world.Research has consistently demonstrated the superiority of student-centered learning. Studies have shown that students in these environments exhibit higher levels of engagement, deeper understanding of concepts, and improved problem-solving abilities. They also display enhanced collaboration skills and develop a greater sense of autonomy and self-direction.Furthermore, student-centered learning fosters a moreequitable and inclusive learning environment. By catering to diverse learning styles and empowering students to take ownership of their learning, this approach reduces the risk of marginalized students falling through the cracks. It also promotes a culture of respect and diversity, where students feel valued and encouraged to express their unique perspectives. In conclusion, while traditional teacher-centered learning may still have a place in certain contexts, student-centered learning has proven to be a more effective and progressive approach. By empowering students to take an active role in their learning, fostering critical thinking, and promoting collaboration, this model prepares students not only for academic success but also for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.

Making sugary products more expensive, at first glance, seems unfair and regressive, as it fails to take into account people’s incomes, and it may disproportionately impact low earners. As a result, while the low-income people may consume less sugar-based products, those higher earners, who find the increased cost immaterial, are highly likely to keep the status quo. In this case, this proposal can hardly reduce the overall sugar consumption. A closer look, however, suggests that it is actually a feasible approach with far-reaching implications.

disproportionately adv.
Immaterial adj.
Feasible adj. 可行的
keep the status quo

The Impact of Technology on EducationIntroductionTechnology has become an integral part of our daily lives, revolutionizing the way we communicate, work, and learn. In recent years, the education sector has witnessed a significant transformation due to the integration of technology into classrooms and learning environments. This shift has sparked debates and discussions regarding the impact of technology on education, with proponents highlighting its potential to enhance learning outcomes and facilitate personalized instruction, while skeptics raise concerns about its potential to create distractions and widen the digital divide. This essay aims to explore the multifaceted relationship between technology and education, delving into its historical background, analyzing different perspectives, providing case studies, and offering a critical evaluation, ultimately concluding with future implications and recommendations related to the topic.Historical Background and DevelopmentThe use of technology in education is not a recent phenomenon, as its roots can be traced back to the introduction of educational radio and television programs in the early 20th century. However, the rapid advancement of digital technologies, particularly the internet, computers, and mobile devices, has significantly transformed the landscape of education in the 21st century. The proliferation of online learning platforms, interactive educational software, and digital resources has provided educators and students with unprecedented access to information and learning opportunities. Additionally, the emergence of artificial intelligence and virtual reality has opened new frontiers for immersive and personalized learning experiences, further blurring the lines between traditional and digital learning environments.Different Perspectives and OpinionsThe integration of technology in education has sparked a wide range of perspectives and opinions, reflecting the diverse experiences and expectations of stakeholders in the education ecosystem. Proponents argue that technology has the potential to level the playing field by providing equal access to educational resources, catering to diverse learning styles, and fostering collaborative and interactive learning experiences. For example, a study conducted by the University of Michigan found that students who used personalized learning software showed improvement in math and reading scores compared to their peers in traditional classrooms. Furthermore, proponents emphasize the role of technology in preparing students for the demands of the digital age, equipping them with essential digital literacy and technical skills for future career opportunities. On the other hand, skeptics raise concerns about the potential drawbacks and unintended consequences of technology in education. One of the primary concerns is the risk of technology creating distractions and diminishing students' attention spans, leading to a decline in critical thinking and deep learning. A survey conducted by Common Sense Media revealed that 71% of teachers believe that technology has led to a decline in students' ability to focus on educational tasks. Additionally, skeptics highlight the digital divide, whereby students from low-income or underserved communities may lack access to reliable internetconnectivity and digital devices, exacerbating educational inequalities. Moreover, the overreliance on technology in education raises concerns about data privacy, cybersecurity, and the ethical use of student data, prompting calls for robust regulations and safeguards to protect students' digital rights.Case Studies and ExamplesTo illustrate the impact of technology on education, it is essential to examine real-world case studies and examples that highlight its benefits and drawbacks. One such case study is the implementation of blended learning models in K-12 schools, which combine traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning activities. A meta-analysis conducted by the Department of Educationfound that students in blended learning environments outperformed their peers in traditional classrooms, demonstrating higher achievement scores and greater engagement with course materials. Furthermore, the use of educational technology in higher education has shown promising results in improving retention rates and graduation outcomes. For instance, Arizona State University's use of adaptive learning software resulted in a 7% increase in course completion rates and a 5% increase in overall GPA for participating students. However, there are also examples that highlight the potential drawbacks of technology in education. The widespread use of social media and mobile devices has raised concerns about cyberbullying, online harassment, and the negative impact of excessive screen time on students' mental health and well-being. A study published in JAMA Pediatrics found that adolescents who spent more than three hours a day on social media were at a higher risk of reporting high levels of internalizing behaviors, such as anxiety and depression. Additionally, the reliance on automated grading systems and standardized testing software has been criticized for prioritizing rote memorization and devaluing critical thinking and creativity in the assessment process.Critical EvaluationIn critically evaluating the impact of technology on education, it is crucial to acknowledge its potential benefits and drawbacks while considering the broader implications for teaching and learning. On the one hand, technology has the capacity to enhance the effectiveness of instruction through personalized learning experiences, adaptive feedback mechanisms, and data-driven insights into student performance. For example, the use of learning analytics and predictive modeling can help educators identify at-risk students and provide targeted interventions to support their academic success. Furthermore, technology has the potential to democratize access to education, particularly for learners in remote or underserved communities, by providing them with open educational resources, online courses, and virtual tutoring support. On the other hand, the uncritical adoption of technology in education may lead to unintended consequences, such as the erosion of human connections, the commodification of education, and the reinforcement of inequitable power dynamics. The overemphasis on standardized testing and algorithmic decision-making in educational settings raises ethical concerns about the fairness and transparency of educational practices. Moreover, the commodification of educational technology products and services may prioritize profit-driven motives over pedagogical considerations, leading to the proliferation of ineffective or exploitative edtech solutions.Future Implications and RecommendationsLooking ahead, the future implications of technology on education are likely to be shaped by ongoing advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and educational neuroscience. It is imperative for educators, policymakers, and technology developers to collaborate in designing ethical and inclusive frameworks for integrating technology into educational practices. This entails prioritizing human-centered design principles, fostering digital citizenship and media literacy skills, and promoting critical inquiry and ethical reasoning in digital learning environments. Additionally, efforts to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to technology should be central to future policy initiatives, with a focus on addressing infrastructure gaps, providing digital skills training, and advocating for internet affordability and accessibility for all learners. In conclusion, the impact of technology on education is a complex and dynamic phenomenon that warrants careful consideration of its potential benefits and drawbacks. By critically evaluating the multifaceted relationship between technology and education, we can strive to harness its transformative potential while safeguarding the ethical and equitable principles of teaching and learning. Ultimately, the future of education lies in our ability to navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by technology, ensuring that it serves as a catalyst for inclusive, empowering, and human-centered educational experiences.。

A family has a great influence on children's development, but the outside of home plays a bigger part in children's life. Do you agree or disagree?

The development of children depends on many factors, including parents, school education, media, peers and so forth. Personally, I agree that the family is less influential than other aspects working together, and my reasons would be explored as below.Admittedly, the influence of family on children is very deep, because parents, primary teachers in the life of children, set the first role models for them to learn and imitate, and which would be logged into the impressionable childhood mind and determine basic behaviors and thinking of them. For example, by observing and learning the daily activities of parents, like speaking, cooking and house cleaning, washing hands before eating, a child can master the language, self-care ability and hygienic habits. Besides, parents also play a key role in developing the intelligence of children. For instance, with day-to-day teaching, communication and storytelling, a parent can help a child to improve cognitive skills like basic mathematic calculation, memorizing, reading, and thinking and judging in a proper way. However, I strongly believe outside-of-home elements make greater contributions to the overall growth of children. Firstly, in terms of academic education, teachers in school have priority over parents. For example, compared with some parent who have low-level or even no education, teachers are professionally educated and trained in formal university, and well-experienced in teaching. That is to say, school teachers are more advantageous and influential, in terms of comprehensively and accurately instructing, explaining and demonstrating common knowledge about laws of nature and universe, theories and formulas of math and physics, and events and people in history. What is more, forming social skills also relies on a school environment where children have opportunities to communicate, play and argue with other peers. This strong interpersonal interaction can make children proficient inreal-world socialization.Besides, mass media is another external factor affecting children’s development. For example, violent video on the Internet, TV programs and computer games are very likely to twist social values of the young audience, because children, unlike adults, are lack of abilities to distinguish right from wrong. Therefore, with long-term exposure to ill information, children would be rude, aggressive and self-eccentric. As a result, they, more often than not, consider violence as the main or even only way to solve problems, thereby leading to school bullying. In conclusion, when it comes to the importance in influencing children, other aspects like teachers in school and media override the parents, for the reasons that the formers have incomparable effects on the education, social skills and personalities of children. Some people think that family is the most powerful influence on child's development. Other people, however, believe that other influences (such as television, friends and music etc.) influence more. Discuss both views and give your opinion. As for the topic that which, between the family and the outsider, exerts more influence on the development of children, I tend to believe that the family overrides other factors. There is substantial evidence to reckon that early experiences shape a person’s fundamental characters such as the attitudes towards the world and life, personality and behavior pattern which tend to be stable and have life-long influence. At home, a child learns to love or to hate, how to express emotions, and so forth through the interaction with parents and siblings even though some may change their habits or interests in later life. Further, the family bond among parents and children is inclined to be tight, thereby outweighing other people’s influences. Certainly there are other factors in child development. When children grow up and step out beyond their home, they are exposed to a widercommunity and more influences. Peers pressure outstands in adolescence when teenagers start to value societal recognition; teachers as educators affect their intellectual and social development at school; diverse modern media constitute youngsters’ leisure and social activities and information sources. However, these factors cannot have the power to dominate the core of a child’s world. Being confronted with challenge, optimistic children tend to react positively whereas pessimistic ones are liable to escape. It is at early age that optimism or pessimism is cultivated in a child. In general, I believe that how a child is brought up determines where his/her future development leads to and therefore has root dominance in one’s life, although I do not deny that the outside world also imposes certain degree of effect on children.。
