Assembly toolingParflange ® 1040 production machine for O-Lok ® and Triple-Lok ®The Parflange ® 1040 is an orbital flaring machine designed tocold-form high pressure tube connections. The unique feature of the patented Parflange ® process is that the deformation of the tube end is achieved by rolling rather than by just pushing a tool into the tube end. The Parflange ® machine smoothly compresses the tube material and achieves a high strength joint with a pol-ished surface of the tube end. O-Lok ® and SAE flange sleeves are firmly fixed onto the tube end, resulting in a very rigid high-pres-sure tube connection.The 1040 is the heavy-duty, mass production machine of the Par-flange ® machine programme. It is recommended for industrial production of all sizes Triple-Lok ® and O-Lok ® tube connections.Maximum tube capacity is 38 mm/1 1/2 tube O.D. The powerful drive, and the fast, automatic process allow short cycle times for efficient production. Its advantage is the quick and easy change of tooling and the simple operation without manual adjustments or programming. Tube clamping and tool lubrication are done auto-matically.The Parflange ® 1040 comes ready to be used. Par-flange ® tools have to be purchased separately. For each tube dimension, special clamping dies and Parflange ® pins are required. The machine can be moved on wheels. Additionally to the electrical sup-ply, an air pressure connection is required for the in-tegrated lubrication device.For industrial mass production of O-Lok ® connec-tions, a special sleeve feeder is available. 基于ABAQUS 有限元分析软件建立无耗能装置、外置拱形钢板、外置竖直钢板、外置拱形耗能装置的四节段预制拼装CFST 桥墩模型,并在往复位移加载作用下对各模型的抗震性能进行对比分析。

研究结果表明:外置拱形耗能装置的预制节段拼装CFST 桥墩具有较好的水平承载力、较高的初始刚度以及较强的耗能能力,与外置竖直钢板的节段拼装CFST 桥墩相比,其抗侧承载力提升了约11.9%,初始刚度提升了约2.5%;与外置拱形钢板的节段拼装CFST 桥墩相比,其抗侧承载力、初始刚度以及耗能能力分别提升了约28.8%、4.6%和13倍;与无耗能装置的预制拼装CFST 桥墩相比,其抗侧承载力、初始刚度以及耗能能力分别提升了约39.4%、10.4%和18.1倍;外置拱形耗能装置的预制节段拼装CFST 桥墩在整个位移加载阶段残余位移均保持在1 mm 之内,偏移率不超过1%,且损伤集中在拱形耗能装置上,能够实现震后的快速修复。

CONSTITUTION:The martensitic stainless steel ingot is heated to1,050-1,250 deg.C and is pierced and rolled. The rolled steel is cooled down to the temp. below the martensite transformation start temp. at >=30 deg.C/min cooling rate at least down to 500 deg.C to form the structure in which martensite occupies >=80vol.%. The steel pipe is then reheated to the temp. region of the Ac1 transformation point - (Ac1 transformation point -200 deg.C) where there is substantially no formation of austenite. The reheated steel pipe is subjected to the finish rolling at >=5% reduction of area and is held for <=30min in the temp. region above the Ac3 transformation point and below (Ac3 transformation point + 100 deg.C) immediately thereafter or after the steel pipe is once cooled. Remove front panel of chiller. Remove and discard cardboard inner pack frombetween compressor and side panel. Slide chiller onto the shelf and position it to the left within the guides on the shelf. NOTE: Building construction must allow for adequate air flow on both sides, top, and back of chiller.A minimum of 4" (102mm) on both sides and top is required. See chiller instructions for additional instructions.2. Make water supply connections. The inlet port is marked on the chiller (1/4" O.D. copper tube). Bend thecopper tube (provided) at an appropriate length from chiller to opening in frame. Install the in-line strainer(provided with chiller) by pushing it in until it reachs a positive stop, approximately 3/4" (19mm) on the marked chiller inlet port. Attach an unplated and deburred copper water inlet line and a service stop (not provided) to the in-line strainer. Turn on the water supply and flush the line thoroughly. DO NOT SOLDERTUBES WHILE INSERTED INTO THE STRAINER AS DAMAGE TO THE O-RINGS MAY RESULT.3. Hang the upper panel on the mounting frame hanger. Align holes in the panel with the holes in the mountingframe. Be sure that panel is engaged with hanger at top of frame before releasing it.4. Install fountain. Remove access cover plate on underside of fountains and save the screws. Mount thefountains to the upper panel and the wall frame with (4) 5/16" x 1-1/4" (32mm) long bolts, washers, and nuts.Tighten securely, but do not overtighten. Over tightening will crack the Marblyte Fountain.NOTE: The short fountain should be mounted to the upper left hand side of the panel.5. Remove elbow from end of p-trap and attach it to drain tube. Re-attach elbow to p-trap and cut waste tube torequired length using plumbing hardware and trap as a guide.6. Make connection between remote chiller outlet tube and fountain(s). Outlet port is marked on the chiller (1/4"O.D. copper tube). Install a 1/4" union/tee (provided) on the marked chiller outlet port. Insert the 1/4" poly tubing coming from the fountain(s) into the union/tee. Turn on water supply and check for leaks.DO NOT SOLDER TUBES WHILE INSERTED INTO THE STRAINER AS DAMAGE TO THE O-RINGS MAYRESULT. (See figure 5 or 6).7. These products are designed to operate on 20-105 PSI supply line pressure. If inlet pressure is above 105 PSI,a pressure regulator must be installed in the supply line. Any damage caused by reason of connecting theseproducts to supply line pressures lower than 20 PSI or higher than 105 PSI is not covered by warranty.8. Make electrical connections to the chiller. See chiller instructions.9. Check stream height from bubbler. Stream height is factory set at 35-40 PSI. If supply pressure varies greatlyfrom this, adjust the screw on regulator item 2 by using a small screwdriver through the small hole in the push button item 5 (See Fig.8). Clockwise adjustment will raise stream height and counter-clockwise adjustment will lower stream height. For best adjustment stream height should be approximately 1-1/2" (38mm) above the bubbler guard (See Figure 7, Page 5).10. Mount lower panel. Loosen the (2) #10-24 x 5/8" (16mm) screws at frame bottom lip. Slide upper tongue oflower panel under lower edge of already installed upper panel. Tighten previously loosened screws securely. 11. Replace bottom access panel to fountain basin using screws provided. Synopsis This report is concerned with the capability of manufacturing by directquenchand tempering of seamless steel pipesfor grades HT60 (TS> 60 kg/mm2) to HT 80 (TS> 80 kg/mm2) and API 5L X60 to U80. Althoughpipes of the strength level of these grades can be produced with low alloy steels, toughness of the direct-quenchedand tempered pipes has not beensatisfactory. A series of studies on the effectof alloyingadditives on the hardenability of steels have shown that titanium addition to the boron steelyields the maximum hardenability effect. To improve toughness,controlling the amountof titanium in the range of 0.008 wt% to 0.011 wt% has beenfound e ffective for the content of nitrogen between 25 ppm and 45 ppm. This range of nitrogen is determined to retain toughnessin the weldedjoint. The direct quenching,thus, enables theproduction of highstrength seamless steel pipes with markedly improved toughness in both pipes and weldedjoints, when the content of titanium in the boron steel is chosenwithin the optimumrange.

I.
Introduction The exploitation of energy resources is now being developed even in such severe operating conditions as in the Arctic regions or deep seas. In these exploitations seamless steel pipes are employed as structural components of jackup rigs and line pipes for transporting production oil and gas. These structural steel pipes are keenly required to have the properties of both high strength and toughness in the low temperature environment. Quenching just after hot rolling is called direct quenching.t The method proposed since the late 1950's has been recognized as an effective way of strengthening steels and thus reducing material and processing cost. Deterioration in toughness and inhomogeneity of mechanical properties involved in the direct quenching have tended to hinder the application of the method to real plants. In recent years, one has overcome such difficulties in the field of heavy plate."2~ Seamless steel pipes of grades HT60 to HT80 and API 5L X60 to U80 (Table 1) have, however, been manufactured by another quenching method. This method is a conventional heat treatment, here called normal quenching,t consisting of cooling hot-worked steels in air, repeating these at austenitizing temperature and then quenching. Decrease in notch toughness brought about by the direct quenching prevents applying the method to the production of the seamless steel pipes. Vol.Biblioteka 25,1985in the line of the medium diameter seamless pipe mill at Chita Works, Kawasaki Steel Corp., in December 1980 (Fig. 2).3~ The quenching process enables one to quench directly pipes of 177.8 mm (7 in.) to 425.5 mm (16 3/4 in.) OD, and 5.5 m (18 ft.) to 16.5 m (54 ft.) length. The maximum production rate of the DQ process is 150 t/h. A pipe immersed into water in the tank is supported on the lower part of a casing (Fig. 3), when water is further injected onto both inside and outside of the pipe in the longitudinal direction (Fig. 4). During water injection, the upper half of the casing is closed so as to keep injected water in axial laminar flow. Effective quenching is carried out in this way. III. Effect of Alloying Elements on Hardenability The hardenability of steel depends on the chemical composition, the condition of the austenite prior to quenching and the quenching process. In this

1. Materials Low alloy steels of 0.1 wt% C were prepared (Table 2). The first five heats PI to R2 were melted for rigs by basic oxygen converter and a ladle refining furnace. Three heats P1 to P3 were used for preliminary study of the effect of alloying elements on hardenability. The last four heats L 1 to L4 were prepared for the use of line pipes as 5 t ingots by vacuum melting. Round billets forged from the cast ingots were heated up to 1 250 °C, held for 4 h and hot-rolled to the pipe dimension by the plug mill process (Fig. 1). In the direct quenching, hot-rolled pipes were reheated at 920 °C prior to cooling below the Ar3 point and then quenched into water from a temperature above the Ar3 point. NQ pipes were cooled in air, reheated at an austenitizing temperature and quenched under the same condition as the DQ pipes. Both DQ and NQ pipes were subsequently tempered over the temperature range of 550 to 690 °C for 15 min to determine the resistance to softening during tempering. 2.
