Lesson 5Is there a library in your school?【知识目标】1.学生能够理解、正确朗读并运用本课新单词(短语);2.学生能够使用并回答there be 的疑问形式。

【能力目标】学生用there be 疑问形式提问位置,并对以上问题作出恰当的回答。

【情感目标】通过学习课文内容和重点句型提升学生对学校各设施的了解,增加他们的归属感。

【教学重点】 能够运用并回答there be 的疑问形式。

【教学难点】选择正确的介词。

1. 课前准备:调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等;2. 教具学具:光盘、大卡片等。

Step1. Warm-up1. 教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,复习上一课所学的内容。

2. 教师和学生一起拍手,复习之前学的单词。

3. 利用课间,教师和学生一起做游戏,猜要新学的单词。

教师把写有相应单词的卡片分给学生,老师说一个单词,手中持有该单词卡片的学生快速举起手中的卡片。

反应慢了的同学就要受罚,教师对表现突出的同学发送小礼物表示奖励。

Step2. Let’s learn1.看图说话老师利用新学的单词,进行对话操练,可以师生之间,也可以在生生之间。

A: Is there a library in your school?B: Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.2. 听录音播放p21对话录音两遍。

第一遍,请学生仔细听录音,听完之后,请几位同学复述大致内容。

第二遍之后,老师对对话中的生词和句型进行讲解。

3. 跟读播放课文录音,先让所有学生一起跟读,然后让几位同学进行角色扮演。

在过程中,老师注意纠正不对的发音。

4. 练习老师展示p22的教学楼截面图,请学生根据图片如实进行对话操练。

Step3. Let’s read1. 播放故事录音,学生边听边看。

听完之后,请学生简要复述故事内容,尽量用英语。

2. 播放录音第二遍,老师通读全文,扫除文章中的生词和句型。
