二、【基础知识】定语从句九大考点1、用什么指引(1)关系代词::who , whom, which , that , whose , as(2)关系副词: when ,where , why2、限制性和非限制性定语从句的直观观点:主句和从句之间带逗号的叫主句和从句之间不带逗号的叫__________。
3、非限制性定语从句的特色:(1)没有定语从句,不影响主句的意思完好。
如:I like unit 3 , which is about environment. 这类句子可去掉“,”成为限制性定语从句。
由于说话人以为从句不重要那就打逗号,说话人以为重要就不打逗号。
,从句都得带逗号。
如:Animals are endangered , as is reported in newspapers . =As is reported in the news paper , animals are endangered .such .. as. (as指引的是定从,从句内部不完好,such.that that指引的是状从)I like such kind of book as you bought.________________He was such a good teacher that we all like him. _______________He is so good a man as I mentioned just now ._______________He is so good a man that all of us like him ._______________(4) It is the same+ n“相像”的意思。
It is the same +n是“同一个东西”的意思。
往常翻译成:由于或当..时候,那就是状从。

二、【基础知识】【研读思考】(1) Come into my study where we won’t be overheard.(2) My car is being repaired so I can’t lend it to you.(3) When we got to the meeting room, we found the speech had been cancelled.(4) The hotel manager thought that the fire might have been caused by some cigarette butts.(5) She was amazed by his fingernails and the softness and warmth of his skin.(一)、被动语态概述语态是动词的一种形式,用以说明主语与谓语动词之间的关系。
英语的语态共有两种:___________语态和____________语态。
主动语态表示主语是动作的__________,被动语态表示主语是动作的____________。
被动语态是动词的一种特殊形式,一般说来,只有需要动作对象的___________动词才有被动语态。
汉语往往用"被"、"受"、"给"等词来表示被动意义。
注意:只有及物动词才用被动语态,不及物动词无被动。
(二)、被动语态的构成1. 被动语态的基本构成:__________________ 被动语态的时态变化只改变be的形式,过去分词部分不变。
疑问式和否定式的变化也如此。
各种时态的被动语态举例(以动词do为例)(1)一般现在时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________English is spoken by lots of people in the world. 世界上的许多人都说英语。
(2)一般过去时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________The cup was broken by the boy. 杯子被那个男孩打碎了。
(3)一般将来时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________A new road will be built next year. 明年要修一条新马路。
(4)过去将来时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________I thought thousands of people would be helped. 我认为将有数千人得到帮助。
(5)现在进行时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________The problem is being discussed now. 问题正在被讨论。
(6)过去进行时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________The machine was being repaired at this time yesterday. 昨天这时,机器正在被修理。
(7)现在完成时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________Two hundred trees have been planted by now. 到现在为止,已经种了二百棵树了。
(8)过去完成时的被动语态的基本构成_________________________They said they had been invited to the party. 他们说已经被邀请参加晚会了。
(9)含有情态动词的被动语态的基本构成_________________________Tables could be made of stone at that time. 那时桌子可由石头制造。
(一般过去时)2.动词不定式的被动语态【研读思考】(1) Large quantities of food, water and tents are said to have been transported to the flooded areas.(2) The robot was going to be tested out by Larry’s wife.(3) Toney expected the house to be completely transformed.(4) The desire to be known as a great writer inspires many young authors.(5) He pretended to be injured seriously and lay there crying.(6) To be admitted to Beijing University was a great honor to his family.【结构归纳】(1) 句一和句二中不定式的被动语态一般式为: ; 不定式的被动语态完成式为:(2) 句三中,在tell/ask/order/expect/allow等动词+sb./sth.+ to do结构中,sb./sth.与to do为主动关系; 若是被动关系, 则结构为: tell/ask/order/expect/allow等动词+sb./sth.+ .(3) 句四、五和六中不定式作、、,表示将来与被动的意义。
【操练巩固】(1)It was ridiculous by a robot. (offer)被一个机器人给予怜悯真是荒谬啊。
(2)The new medicine is believed on patients for 2 years already. (test)这种药物据认为已在病人身上测试了两年了。
(3)Larry persuaded her that the robot wouldn’t harm her or . (allow) Larry 劝她道机器人不会伤害她或让她被人伤害。
(4)The meeting next week was bound to make a great difference ineconomics. (hold)下周要开的会议注定会对经济产生巨大的影响。
(三)、主动语态变为被动语态【研读思考】(1) Tom killed him. → He was killed by Tom.(2) They held a meeting yesterday. → A meeting was held by them yesterday.(3) Mother sent me a birthday cake. →I was sent a birthday cake by Mother.→ A birthday cake was sent to me.(4) The younger sister was made to cry by her brother.【结构归纳】1. 转换图示2、主动语态变为被动语态的注意事项:①含有双宾语,即直接宾语(常指事物)和间接宾语(常指人)的句子,每个宾语都可变为被动语态的主语,即其被动语态有两种形式。
但多以间接宾语作主语。
Have a try: 将此句变为被动语态:Jack told us the truth._________________________________/____________________________________②感官动词和使役动词后面的宾语补足语使用不定式时通常去掉to,即构成不带to的不定式。
但在变为被动语态时,省略to 的不定式要还原to。
这些动词主要有五看:_________,_________,_________,_________,________,三使_________,_________,_________, 两听_________,_________,一感觉_________。
[操练巩固](1)Some money a month in case of an emergency. (set)每月应存一点钱以备不时之需。
(2) The little child such a difficult thing. (do)不要让这个小孩做如此困难的事情。
(四)、某些动词主动表被动。
【研读思考】(1) He is to blame for the fire.(2) The book sells well.(3) The cake tastes delicious.(4) The table needs cleaning.= The table needs to be cleaned.【结构归纳】(1) 句一中, be to blame for 意思为”应为某事负责”, 主动表被动,不需用被动语态.(2) 句二中, 某些可用来表示主语内在品质或性能的动词,如lock, shut, open, move, read,write, sell, wash, clean, catch, draw, cut, tear等,与well、easily、smoothly 等连用,主动表被动。
(3) 句三中, 系动词如: taste, 等无被动结构,主动表被动。
(4) 句四中, 在_______,________,_________等表示"需要"的动词后,用v.ing 的主动形式表示被动含义; 也可以用to be done。
【操练巩固】(1)In John’s view, the polluted water cholera. (blame)在约翰看来,被污染的水是霍乱的罪魁祸首。
(2)I like the T-shirt, because it . (wash)我喜欢这件体恤,因为它容易洗。
(3) The house was too shabby to live in and it completely. (transform)这所房子太旧不能住人了,需要彻底改造。
(五)、【实战演练】1. Great changes in my hometown in the past ten yearsand people are enjoying a much richer life now. (take)我的家乡在过去十年里发生了巨大的变化,人们现在正享受着更富足的生活。
