(1)体验节日的欢乐,增长学生节日文化知识,培养学生文化意识。
(2)主动探寻与发现各种节日元素。
【教学重难点】在实际情境中运用句型“Is/Are…ving? Yes, I am./No, I'm not. Yes, he/ she is./No, he/ she isn't. Yes, they are.,/No, they aren't”询问某人正在做什么并正确回答。
【教学准备】1.教师准备。
课本、单词卡、配套音响、教学挂图、多媒体课件、课堂奖励贴画等2.学生准备。

【教学过程】1.热身活动。
(1)师生用英语互致问候。
(2)游戏:火眼金睛教师用课件快速闪现相关单词和词组图片watching TV、Jumping、playing football、riding bike、drinking water、swimming、sleeping、running、walking、eating banana、having class、singing、waving、stamping feet,学生快速说出,为新课学习做铺垫。
(3)做一做,说一说。
教师任意请一名学生从刚才复习过的动词词组中选一个做出动作,引导其他学生猜动作名称。

(3)让学生根据录音内容,在横线上分别填写出所缺的单词。
(4)再播放一遍录音,将礼物与匹配的图片(单词)连线。
(学生写过后,教师可以让学生相互核对或直接给出正确答案。

2、活动过程A、一边听圣诞歌曲一边看屏幕上映出的12月25日的日历,一开始让学生听有关圣诞的歌曲,营造出圣诞的气氛,让学生直接进入本课的语言使用环境中。
教师通过类似“Look, it’s Dec. 25th. Christmas is coming! Do you know the song? Can you sing the song? Are you happy? 等让学生明白十二月二十五日是圣诞节,同时使学生体会到圣诞的快乐。
B、任务中期实施阶段机械性操练和意义性操练两部分。
机械性操练可以让学生准确地模仿、复说新授的语言,让他们经过从模仿到识记的过程,使新知识由感知、理解、模仿直到储存。
