而随着调查的深入，危险也在迫近维罗妮卡，证人相继神秘被杀，林肯的家人也遭遇不幸，而追杀维罗妮卡的神秘人物，竟然是联邦调查局的秘密探员。

与此同时，迈克尔在狱中艰难地准备着越狱计划，意想不到的人和事接连出现在通向自由的道路上。
