My Ways of Learning English Words-学习文档

My Ways of Learning English WordsAt college, the teachers of English always emphasize that we have to understand a new word or phrase in English, or try to paraphrase a new or phrase, sometimes even a sentence.Learning new words in this way surely makes you understand them in a more precise way. However, what is the purpose of learning new words or rather English? I believe we learn English for the purpose of either communicating with foreigners or coping with work. Therefore, understanding English words in English is enough to communicate but far from enough to handle work, especially work that requires translation.I strongly recommend that we should comprehend English words not just in English but in Chinese as well. In other words, when we come across a new word/phrase, we should do our utmost to paraphrase it at first, and then translate it into Chinese. For example: we see a sentence: "Puffery is nothing new." Here, we meet a new word "puffery". So we have to consult a dictionary, which might tell us that this word means exaggeration or false praise. Thereby, we understand this word in English. Next, we need to translate it into Chinese "吹嘘"。

You‟ll find that you work harder when you need tostudy for something.12)Saying that, it‟s better not to study just to take a test. Thin k of thebigger picture. It‟s better to use something that you canwatch over again to catch information you might have missed the first time.23)Watching TV only gives you the chance to hear something correctlyfirst time. This is better for high level students. It can be great practice for speaking to native English speakers so you don‟t have to ask them to repeat themselves!24)Read graded readers. These books are especially written for yourlevel. Read a whole novel. You can do it! Then think about the structure. After that, write your piece using good grammar and spelling. Finally, read it through or give it to someone else to check for mistakes.40)Keep an eye on your punctuation as it can totally change what you‟retrying to say. Check out the difference in meaning between these two sentences: “A woman without her man is nothing” and “A woman: without her, man is nothing”.41)Sing your heart out! Show the world your beautiful voice! LearnEnglish songs and sing along with them to improve fluency and intonation… anyone for Karaoke?42)Get a penfriend or use chat-rooms, forums and community sites. Ifyou can‟t speak to someone in English, this is the next best thing. 43)Shadow English CDs. Listen to a few sentences then repeat what youheard. Listen to a CD or friend and write down what you hear.47)Nobody likes to hear their own voice, but be brave and try it! Recordyour voice and listen to your pronunciation and intonation. It will help you to identify your problem areas.48)Ask your helpful teacher if you can record his lesson. This is a greatway to review. You can also listen to your teachers speaking speed and intonation.49)Use an English/English dictionary as it will help you to keep thinkingin English and not translating.50)If an English/English dictionary seems scary, there are learner‟sdictionaries for English students of your level.51)Don‟t become too reliant on your dictionary. Your dictionary shouldbe an aid, not your main teacher. Try to guess the meaning of words rather than going straight for your dictionary.52)Don‟t give up! Stay positive! Sometimes you will feel that you aren‟tlearning quickly enough. Everyone feels like this, don‟t worry about it.You‟ll get there in the end.53)Enjoy it! Congratulations, your level is improving!56)You are never too young or too old to start learning English. Don‟tmake excuses not to learn. What are you waiting for?57)Procrastination can stop you from being successful. To stopprocrastinating, it's important you understand if your procrastinating is to avoid studying, or if it is your bad habit.58)If you haven‟t gotten the results you wanted yet, it‟s not becauseyou‟re bad at languages, it‟s because you haven‟t found your own special way of learning yet.59)Use resources which match your level. Don‟t use texts/listeningexercises which are too difficult or too easy. Use materials which challenge you but don‟t frustrate you.60)Don‟t worry about making your accent perfect. It‟s an important partof your cultural identity to keep your accent. Native English speakers enjoy hearing English spoken with an accent.61)There are many types of English: British, American, South Africanand so on. None of these are wrong or not as important. English is English.62)Instead, be aware of the differences in American and British Englishand use your words accordingly. For example: Elevator (US) / Lift (British).63)Carry cue cards with you. These are small cards which you can writenew words on. You can pull them out and look at them whenever youa free minute.64)Use post-it notes and stick them around your home. You can use themto label things. Stick one on your pet dog!65)You can‟t ignore phrasal verbs (two words verbs), there are hundredsof them in English and they‟re widely used. The more you focus on their meaning, the more you‟ll be able to guess the meani ng of new ones. You‟ll start to recognise their patterns.66)Use your intuition. Go with your gut feeling, you‟ll be surprised howoften your first guess is the right guess. Like we said before, be confident.67)Gather your thoughts. Take a second to think about what you‟re goingto say. You know the grammar, but maybe you don‟t use it correctly when you speak.68)Meet new people. Make the effort to mix with English speakers inyour town. You could join a club or go to bars where foreigners hang out. Buy one a drink, they love that!69)Be the person to start conversations in English. Try to keep theconversations moving and use listening words (…really?‟ / …go on…‟/ …what happened then?‟) Don‟t wait for others to speak to you. Get in there!70)Debate. Discuss topics in a group. Each person should choose aviewpoint (even if you don‟t agree with it) and debate it within the group. Make sure you get your point across. Learn to listen actively.Active listening will help in the classroom and it will help you get more out of, and contribute more to, group study sessions. Focus on the person who is talking. Don‟t fidget or become distracted by other people or events. Concentrate on the speaker with your ears and eyes.Follow the movements the speaker makes in an effort to hear more. It may help to repeat what you hear others say in an effort to understand their thoughts.71)It‟s not enough to only learn English words. You can teach a parrotEnglish words but that doesn‟t mean it can speak English! You still need to have an understanding of grammar.72)Verb tenses are used by English speakers to talk about the timing ofactions. You might not have the same expressions in your own language. It‟s important that you know these tenses and when to use them.73)English has many irregular verbs. You should drill yourself on them.74)Keep it up! If you take a break from speaking English, you will findthat your level decreases and all your hard work has been wasted. 75)Don‟t be put off by a bad test score. Sometimes students have theability to pass an Eng lish test, but can‟t communicate well with English speakers. If you can speak freely in English, you should beproud of yourself.76)Remember that as long as you have tried your hardest, you havesucceeded!77)Learn English with a friend. You‟ll have someone you can practisewith and you can motivate each other to study.78)Remember, the way we write English is not the same as how it‟spronounced. For example …Ough‟ has over 6 pronunciations.Familiarise yourself the Phonetic Alphabet. It will help you correctly pronounce words in the dictionary.79)Get used to the …schwa‟ sound [ə] - an unstressed and toneless neutralvowel sound. …Schwa‟ is the most common vowel sound in English. For example, the 'a' in about and the 'u' in supply.80)Keep in mind that it takes longer to improve when our level is high.Usually the fastest progress i s made when we are beginners. Don‟t think that you‟re suddenly not learning anymore, it‟s just a less noticeable progress.81)Make sure that your English matches the occasion. It‟s OK to useslang with friends but not in a business meeting. Decide in which si tuation it‟s appropriate to use the words and phrases you have learned.82)Textbook English is often different from the way we casually speak. To learn casual …slang‟ watch movies.83)Idioms can be difficult to memorise, but they are great fun to use andthey‟ll make your English more colourful.84)When talking we usually link words together so that two words cansound like one. Simply put, we link words ending with a consonant sound to words beginning with a vowel sound (consonant > vowel). We link words ending with a vowel sound to words beginning with a vowel sound (vowel > vowel). Practise these to improve your listening and pronunciation.85)Make use of the internet. It‟s full of resources to help you learn: BBCLearning English ; 86)Think about your strong and weak points. Write down which areasyou want to improve on and work on improving them. Of course, don‟t ignore your strong points. Congratulate yourself on how well you‟ve done!87)Unlearn your mistakes. You probably make the same grammarmistakes over and over again. Use English tests results as a study tool.Go over your mistakes and choose one or two that you want to focus on. Use your favourite grammar book to check rules.88)Use the correct article (a/an, the). Be aware that there is more to thisrule than a/an= non specific, the=specific. For example: A university (not an university because it begins with a consonant sound). An hour (not a hour because the …h‟ is often silent).89)For fluency, try image training. Before you go to that restaurant thinkthrough what the waiter is likely to say to you. Think of what phrases you are going to use.90)Much communication comes through body language and gesture. These can be different between cultures and countries. For example, the two-fingered "V" for victory symbol is fine palms-out. If you make it with you palm facing toward you, you'll offend a British person. It means…well, you ask a British person and find out for yourself!91)The easiest one - Sleep! You‟ll learn more after a good night‟s sleep.Yo u‟ll be able to concentrate more.92)Take an English course in an English speaking country.93)If you studying abroad, mix with people from other countries not onlypeople from your own country. It‟s not a good idea for you to live in a shared house with people from your own country. Enjoy a more cultural experience by spending time with other nationalities.94)Have you thought about getting a job or doing an internship abroad?95)Get yourself a qualified teacher. Who wants to learn wrong things?96)Nobody can learn all of the English language. No need to worry abouttrying. A useful shortcut to learning is that in English we have lots of words that have the same pronunciation, but a different spelling and meaning. For example, e here‟ has the same pronunciation as, (I)can hear the birds‟. You might find it easier to build vocabulary by knowing the different meanings.97)Once you have a basic level of English explore the different ways youcan say the same thing. This makes your English more interesting to the listener and it shouldn‟t be too difficult for you because you already know the basics. For example, how many ways can we say, …Goodbye' in English?98)When you are on your English course, be prepared for your class. Doyour homework as soon as possible and hand it in on time. Review your notes and your last lesson a few minutes before the class. Doing this will refresh your memory and you'll be warmed up for lesson. 99)Don't get distracted in class. Focus on the lesson, don't stare out of thewindow. Don't be late, arrive a few minutes before the start of the lesson. Don't sit next to people who won't speak to you in English.Switch off your phone. Be organised, remember to take your textbook, notebook and pen.100)Find a comfortable, peaceful place for quiet study. You need somewhere where you can focus 100%.101)Last but no t least, Learn English with EC!。

How did I learn English? Now let me show you my way of English learning which is interesting and colorful. There are four key points to study English: listening, speaking, reading and writing.Firstly, we should be brave to talk with others in English. By doing this, we can improve our talking and listening skill. Secondly, we should try to listen to all kinds of English programmes as much as possible. In this way, we can gradually improve our pronunciation. Thirdly, we should often read English books. When we come across a new word. We should guess its meaning through the contest first. Then look it up in the dictionary to have a check. I thin,, it is a good way of reading. Fourthly, we should practice our writing skills. Whenever we have any idea, we should get the pen and write it down at once. It is very important to avoid writing in Chinese way and using the Chinese grammar. As long as we listen, speak, read and write more, we are sure to makeremarkable progress!I suggest that words be memorized in phrases, in sentences and in passages. In a context, words are much easier to understand. Also, in this way, you can master the usage of each word. If a word appears frequently in an article, you may memorize it after you finish reading the article. If it doesn’t, you can read the article ov er and over again so as to memorize it. It’s far more interesting to enlarge your vocabulary in this way, isn’t it?参考范文二:My Ways of Learning EnglishMy favorite subject is English. Learning English has been a significant part of my life, and it has shaped me in many ways. I still remember thefirst time I started learning English. It was in primary school, and I was introduced to the language through simple vocabulary and basic grammar. I started to learn more complex grammar and sentence structures, and I was also exposed to English literature and culture. This was a turning point for me, as I began to develop a genuine interest in the language. I started to read English books and watch English movies, and I found myself enjoying the process of learning English. In high school, I decided to take my English learningto the next level. I enrolled in an English language course outside of school, where I had the opportunity to interact with native English speakers and practice my speaking and listening skills. This experience was invaluable, as it not only improved my language skills but also gave me a deeper understanding of English-speaking cultures. When I entered college, I chose to major in English literature. This decision allowed me to immerse myself in the world of English literature and language, and I was able to study the works of renowned English writers and poets. I also had the chance to study abroad in an English-speaking country, where I was fully immersed in the language and culture. This experience was incredibly enriching, and it helped me to become fluent in English.Looking back on my journey of learning English, I realize that it has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. 英语作文最有效的学习英语的方法

英语作文最有效的学习英语的方法

英语作文最有效的学习英语的方法全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Most Effective Way to Learn EnglishHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I've been learning English since I was in kindergarten and I've picked up a bunch of really cool tips that have helped me a lot. I want to share those with you today!First of all, I think the most important thing is to have fun while learning English. If you get bored or feel like it's just a big chore, you're not going to want to practice. My English teachers always try to make our lessons enjoyable with games, songs, and interesting stories. That makes the time fly by!One of my favorite ways to practice English is by watching movies and TV shows in English. The pictures help me understand what's going on, even if I don't know every word that's said. I like to watch the same shows over and over until I can repeat lots of the dialogue. It's like the words just stick in my brain that way!Reading is another amazingly helpful thing to do. I started off with really simple books when I was little, but now I can read longer chapter books. When I come across words I don't know, I write them down and look them up later. My parents helped me start an English vocabulary journal to keep track of new words. It's been filling up fast!Speaking of parents, they've been my number one supporters through this whole journey of learning English. They found creative ways to get me using English at home, like playing make-believe games or just casually mixing English words into our conversations in our native language. Having their encouragement made a huge difference. My friends and I even formed a casual English Club where we get together once a week to do fun English activities together. Last month, we had an English Summer Camp themed day where we played classic camp games, sang songs by the "campfire" and told ghost stories – all in English of course! Those kinds of imaginative activities make hanging out fun while sneaking in some English practice.I also really like using English learning apps, websites and podcasts. There are so many cool ones out there now that turn lessons into games or stories. I can practice vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and all sorts of skills while feeling like I'm just playing rather than studying. Tech helps English feel more natural and modern. One more major key for me has been trying to make English a daily habit, not just something I do in my English classes at school. The more I surround myself with the language through movies, books, friends and apps, the more it becomes familiar and automatic. English is slowly feeling like a second first language rather than a foreign language I'm struggling to learn.I know there's still a ton for me to learn when it comes to English. Writing essays like this one is still pretty challenging. And sometimes I get frustrated when I can't find the right English words to express what I want to say. But overall, I feel really proud of my progress so far. More than anything, I'm grateful to have discovered learning methods that are effective while also being motivating and entertaining. If you're at the start of your English journey, I highly encourage you to find methods that you enjoy and stick with them consistently. Set goals, but also be patient with yourself. If you make English practice a fun habit, entonces you'll make increíble progress before you know it, приятель! Oops, I mixed in some other languages there at the end. But hey, that justdemonstrates how languages can co-exist in our multilingual mundo. The most importante thing is keeping that pasión for English alive!篇2The Best Ways to Learn EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I've been learning English since I was really little and I think I've got some good tips to share on the best ways to learn it. English can seem super hard at first, but if you stick with it and use the right strategies, you'll be speaking like a pro in no time! One of the most important things is to have fun with it! If you're bored out of your mind, you're just not going to learn as well. My favorite way to make English fun is through games. There are so many cool games out there designed to help kids learn English vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and more. I'm obsessed with this one app called "Endless English" where you go on fun adventures and play mini-games to earn rewards. It's honestly just as fun as any other game, but I'm learning so much English without even realizing it!Another awesome way to learn is through songs and movies. Listening to English songs and watching shows or movies inEnglish is a great way to train your ear to understand the language. At first, it will sound like gibberish. But if you keep listening, eventually your brain will start to pick up on words, phrases, and patterns. Bonus points if you look up the lyrics or turn on subtitles so you can read along! My favorite English movies are from the Disney and Pixar studios. The stories are easy to follow and the language isn't too complex.Reading is also so important for improving your English skills. When you read in English, you're exposing yourself to proper grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary in context. Start with really easy books like picture books or short chapter books for kids. As you get better, you can move on to more advanced reader novels. It also helps a ton to read out loud - hearing yourself say the words makes it all click better in your brain.Of course, no English learning plan is complete without conversation practice. Textbooks and apps are helpful, but actually using the language to communicate with others is critical. If you can, find a native English speaker to practice conversational English with. A teacher, a friend, a relative - anyone works! They can correct your mistakes and make sure you're speaking properly. If meeting in person isn't possible, try language exchange apps or websites to get conversationpractice online. Trust me, putting yourself out there and just going for it is super important! Those are some of my top tips, but here are a few more quick ones: Watch English TV shows and movies without subtitles once you've progressed enough to test your skills. Listen to English music and podcasts. Use sticky notes to label household objects with their English names. And most importantly, be patient with yourself! Learning a new language takes a ton of time, practice and effort. Don't get discouraged - stick with it and you'll get there.Well, that's all from me! I hope these suggestions give you some good ideas on how to make learning English an adventure. It's such an awesome language to know and it opens up so many opportunities. Just tap into your favorite interests, stay motivated, and don't be afraid to make mistakes along the way. You've got this!篇3The Best Ways to Learn EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School and I just love learning English. It's such a cool language! At first, English seemed really hard andconfusing to me. But now that I've been studying it for a few years, it's getting easier and easier. I want to share some of my favorite tips for learning English. Hopefully, they can help you too!One of the most fun ways to practice English is by watching movies and TV shows in English. Whenever my parents let me, I watch movies and shows without subtitles or dubbing. In the beginning, I didn't understand much at all. But the more I watched, the more words and phrases I started recognizing. It's amazing how quickly you can pick up vocabulary just from hearing it over and over again. My favorites are animated Disney movies since the language is pretty simple. But I also love comedy shows because they are funny and repetitive.Another activity I enjoy is reading English books and comics.I started out with really basic picture books and short stories. As my reading skills improved, I moved up to chapter books and graphic novels. Reading is great for learning new words, but also for seeing how sentences are put together grammatically. Whenever I come across a word I don't know, I'll look it up in the dictionary. Then I write it down to practice later. Reading out loud is helpful too for working on pronunciation.Speaking of pronunciation, singing songs in English is an excellent way to improve. Songs have a nice rhythm that makes the lyrics easier to memorize. Plus, songs repeat the same words and phrases over and over, drilling them into your brain. Sometimes I'll look up the lyrics online first to understand the meanings. Then I'll sing along, maybe acting out the words for extra practice. It's amazing how quickly I've learned idioms and slang from songs! My parents have also helped me learn English through interactive activities. We'll do role-playing exercises where we pretend to order food at a restaurant, go shopping, or host guests. My dad will be the waiter, cashier, or party host speaking in full English sentences. Then I have to respond appropriately. At first, I was pretty shy about speaking. But these games have really boosted my confidence over time.Playing games in general is extremely helpful for learning a language. I have quite a few English board games, card games, and puzzles. Whenever I get stuck on the rules or vocabulary terms, I have to read the instructions carefully or ask for assistance. That's excellent reading and listening practice. My absolute favorite is acting out charades words and phrases. It'shilarious and gets everyone laughing and using English in alow-pressure way.Of course, more traditional methods like schoolwork, worksheets, flashcards, and learning apps are important too. But in my experience, the most powerful way to learn is through engaging, fun activities that feel more like play than study. Watching, reading, singing, acting, and gaming are my personal favorite ways to practice English. I still have a long way to go, but I'm already so impressed by how much I've grown. Learning this language has opened up a whole new world of books, movies, friends and experiences. If you're also learning English, I hope you'll give some of these tips a try! The most important things are to immerse yourself in the language through media, entertainment, and real conversations whenever possible. Don't be afraid to pick up new words and phrases, even if you don't understand them at first. Over time, with lots of repetition and practice, the meanings will start sticking. Learning a new language is challenging for sure. But if you make it into a fun game, you'll be speaking like a pro before you know it! Just don't give up. An exciting new world awaits if you stick with it. Good luck!篇4Sure, here's an essay of around 2,000 words on "The Most Effective Way to Learn English" written in the tone of an elementary school student:Learning English is Super Fun!Hi friends! My name is Emma, and I'm 10 years old. I love learning English because it's like a secret code that helps me talk to people from all over the world! It's so cool to be able to understand movies, songs, and books in a different language. But learning English can be tricky sometimes. That's why I want to share with you the best ways to learn English that have worked for me.The first and most important thing is to start as early as possible. I was lucky because my parents started teaching me English when I was just a baby. They would read me bedtime stories and sing me nursery rhymes in English. At first, I didn't understand anything, but as time went on, the words started making sense. It's like my brain was a sponge, soaking up all the new sounds and words!Another great way to learn English is by watching TV shows and movies in English. My favorite is "Peppa Pig" because the characters speak slowly and clearly, which makes it easier for me to understand. I also love watching Disney movies like "Frozen"and "Moana" because the songs are so catchy, and I end up singing along without even realizing it. Singing is actually a really fun way to practice English pronunciation!Reading books in English is also super helpful. When I was younger, I started with simple picture books like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Green Eggs and Ham." Now that I'm older, I read chapter books like "Harry Potter" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." Sometimes there are words I don't understand, but I can usually figure them out from the context or by looking them up in a dictionary. One of my favorite things to do is play games in English. There are so many cool apps and websites with games that teach you new words and phrases in a fun way. My favorites are "Duolingo" and "Bitsboard" because they have cute characters and fun challenges. Playing games makes learning English feel more like a adventure than homework!Of course, practicing with other people is really important too. I have a pen pal named Emily who lives in Canada, and we write letters to each other in English. It's so exciting to get mail from a friend in another country! I also join online video chat groups where I can practice speaking English with kids from all over the world.Sometimes, learning English can be frustrating, especially when I make mistakes or can't understand something. But my parents always remind me that making mistakes is okay – it's just part of the learning process. The more I practice, the better I'll get over time. They also tell me that being bilingual is a superpower that will open up so many opportunities for me in the future.I hope these tips have inspired you to keep learning English and never give up! It's such an amazing language that connects people across the globe. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be pen pals or video chat buddies practicing English together. Just remember to have fun, be patient with yourself, and never stop exploring the wonderful world of words!篇5Learning English is Super Fun!Hi there! My name is Sammy and I'm 10 years old. I love learning English because it's the coolest language ever! At first, it was kinda hard, but now I'm getting really good at it. Wanna know my secrets? Keep reading and I'll share all my tips and tricks to become an English superstar! The first thing I did was listen to lots of English songs, watch cartoons, and play video games in English. It's way more fun than just reading boring textbooks! Whenever I heard words I didn't understand, I wrote them down to look up later. My favorite songs are by Taylor Swift and my favorite shows are Pokemon and SpongeBob. The theme songs really helped me practice!Next, I started reading easy English books and comics. I started with picture books, then moved to chapter books and graphic novels. My mom got me a kids' dictionary to look up any hard words. Reading is like a treasure hunt - you find new words everywhere! My favorite books are Dog Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Harry Potter (those ones took me a while but they're so awesome).I also did lots of fun activities to practice. Mom printed word searches, crosswords, and mad libs for me to do. We also played games like 20 Questions, I Spy, and Hangman all in English. Apps and websites with English games and quizzes are cool too. It's like practicing without even realizing it!Another thing that really helped was having an English penpal. I got matched with a kid in America named Jake. We email and video chat all the time! It's so exciting getting messages from a real friend. Jake helps me with slang and idiomsthat aren't in textbooks. I've learned tons of new phrases like "that's lit" and "you're bugging". Having a penpal makes English feel alive, not just stuck in a book.Probably my favorite way to learn is by traveling and going on English summer camps. One year, we went to London and I got to order food, ask for directions, and make friends in English! The year after that, I did a science camp taught fully in English. I was kinda nervous at first, but everyone was so nice and by the end, I felt like one of the English-speaking kids. The best advice I can give is: don't be afraid to make mistakes! English can seem really hard, but kids' brains are like supercomputers. We just soak it all up without even trying. The more you use English in fun ways, the easier it gets. Itsoughtta be against the law to spend hours doing grammar drills and memorizing word lists. Yuck!Well, those are my tips for learning English the fun way. Follow my advice and you'll be talking like a movie star before you know it! Just remember: practice lots, use all kinds of materials, and most importantly, enjoy yourself. If you ever feel frustrated, take a break and go do something else you love in English. The words and skills will stick in your brain like super glue.English is simply the most awesome, epic, amazeballlllll language out there. Why wouldn't you want to learn it?! With some creativity and an open mind, anyone can become fluentandsoundlikeanativespeaker. Just don't give up!Laters, dudes andbabes! Now if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go watch some sick new YouTubers and level up my skills. Peace out!。

It's the language that lets you talk to people all around the world and understand movies, books, video games, and songs from other countries. But studying English can feel super hard sometimes, especially all the grammar rules and weird spelling words. I used to really struggle with it. But now that I'm getting better, I want to share my best tips for how to learn English fast! The key is to make it fun instead of treating it like boring homework. One of my favorite ways is to watch movies and TV shows in English. It's a great way to hear natural conversation and get used to listening. I love putting on the subtitles in English too so I can read along. Some of my favorite shows to practice with are cartoons and kids' movies because they use easier vocabulary.Another really fun way is to play video games in English. There's so much dialogue and text that you have to read. Plus, the characters use everyday phrases that are helpful to learn. My English got so much better after playing games like Minecraft and Roblox for hours!Reading is also key for building vocabulary. But honestly, I find novels kind of boring to start. That's why I prefer reading comics, magazine articles about my hobbies, or easy reader books. Basically anything that interests me so it doesn't feel like a chore. I try to read a little bit every day, even if it's just a few pages.Music is another amazing tool. Singing along to English songs is an incredibly fun way to practice pronunciation and learn idioms. The lyrics also tend to use more conversational words compared to textbooks. My favorites are pop songs, but listening to any genre exposes you to more English.Having English friends to talk to is one of the best ways to improve as well. That's why joining an online community for one of your hobbies can be so valuable. I met kids from the U.S. and U.K. playing online games, and now we chat regularly to practice our English skills together. It's way more engaging than doing boring grammar drills by yourself. Finally, don't be afraid to make mistakes! Messing up is how we learn. Whenever I'm confused about a word or phrase, I justask a friend or look it up. The more new vocab and expressions I'm exposed to, the faster my English improves. I also try not to translate things word-for-word from my native language, since English has its own natural flow.Learning a new language is hard work, but doing activities you enjoy makes it much easier. As long as you immerse yourself in English media, join communities to practice conversing, and stay positive about making mistakes, your skills will grow so fast! It just takes consistent effort and being creative to make the process fun. Now I love studying English and can't wait to become fluent. Let me know if you have any other tips that work for you!篇2How to Learn English Really WellHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader. A lot of people have asked me how I got so good at English. It's my second language, but now I'm basically fluent! English is a super important language to know, so I want to share my tips on the best ways to learn it.The number one most important thing is to practice English as much as you possibly can. You can't just learn it from booksand classes. You have to use it every single day by speaking, listening, reading, and writing. That's how you'll really get good. One of my favorite ways to practice is by watching movies, TV shows, and videos in English. It's way more fun than just reading from a textbook! I love watching stuff with subtitles in English so I can read along. Movies and shows use real conversational English, not just the formal stuff you learn in class. Animated movies like Disney and Pixar are great for learners because the language is pretty simple. But I also like watching live-action shows and movies for kids my age. Whenever I come across a word or phrase I don't understand, I write it down to look up later.Reading is another awesome way to get better at English. Books and magazines let you learn new vocabulary in context. Start with easy books like picture books or short chapter books. Read them out loud to practice your pronunciation. As you improve, you can move on to longer chapter books, novels, and non-fiction. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan - those books helped my English skills so much! For when I'm too tired to read regular books, I read children's news articles and websites. Reading anything English every day, even just for 15-20 minutes, makes such a big difference.Having English music, games, and activities you enjoy is key too. I spent hours singing along to Disney songs in English and playing English video games. It makes practicing feel like fun instead of work. Keep things around you have a genuine interest in, not just boring grammar drills. I have English books, puzzles, arts and crafts kits, all sorts of stuff. Using them keeps my skills sharp in an engaging way.My last big tip is to just immerse yourself in English as much as you can. Put English subtitles or closed captions on when watching shows in your own language. Change your phone, computer, game console, etc. settings to English. Surround yourself with English media and materials as often as possible. The more English in your life, the faster you'll improve!Learning a new language is hard work, but it's an amazing skill that lets you connect with so many more people and opportunities. Just stick with it and have patience with yourself. You'll make mistakes and that's okay! Don't be afraid to go for it and just start using English as much as you can. The more you practice in a fun, engaging way, the sooner it'll start feeling natural. English opens up tons of awesome books, movies, friends, and experiences. Keep at it and you'll be fluent before you know it!篇3The Most Effective Ways to Learn EnglishHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a 10-year-old student in the 5th grade. You know, learning English can be a lot of fun, but it can also be pretty challenging at times. Over the years, I've discovered some really cool and effective ways to improve my English skills, and I'd love to share them with you!First and foremost, one of the absolute best things you can do is read, read, read! Reading is like a magic portal that transports you to different worlds and expands your vocabulary in the most natural and enjoyable way. I try to read at least 30 minutes every day, whether it's a chapter from my favorite book, a comic book, or even just a few pages from a magazine. The more you read, the more you'll understand the structure and flow of the English language.Another really fun way to practice English is by watching movies and TV shows in English. Nowadays, there are so many amazing animated films, cartoons, and kid-friendly shows that are not only entertaining but also educational. Whenever I watch something in English, I try to pay close attention to the way the characters speak, their expressions, and the context of theconversations. It's like having a little English lesson disguised as an exciting adventure!Speaking of adventures, playing games is another fantastic method for improving your English skills. Whether it's a board game, a video game, or even a simple game of charades, games encourage you to communicate, think on your feet, and practice your English in a fun and relaxed environment. Plus, playing games with friends or family members is a great way to bond and create memories while learning together. One thing that has really helped me in my English learning journey is keeping a journal or a language diary. Whenever I come across a new word or phrase that I find interesting or challenging, I write it down along with its meaning and an example sentence. Not only does this help me remember the new vocabulary, but it also allows me to track my progress and see how much I've learned over time.Another tip that has worked wonders for me is immersing myself in English as much as possible. This means surrounding myself with English books, music, movies, and even trying to think in English whenever I can. My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I go to Sunny Hills Elementary School and I love learning English. It'ssuch a cool language and knowing it has helped me make lots of new friends from different countries. At first, learning English seemed really hard. There were so many weird rules about grammar and spelling that didn't make any sense to me. But my teacher showed me some super fun ways to practice, and now English is one of my favorite subjects! If you're a kid who wants to learn English well, here are my top tips:Read, read, read!Nothing helps you learn English better than reading lots of books, comics, magazines...anything you can get your hands on, really. Start with simple stories that have pictures to help explain what the words mean. As you get better, you can move on to longer chapter books. My favorites are the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series - they're hilarious! I've read every single one. When I come across words I don't know, I ask my parents or look them up online. Pretty soon, you'll start recognizing more and more words without even trying.Watch movies and shows in EnglishWatching movies and TV shows is like reading, but even more fun because you can see everything happening right in front of you. It's a great way to learn natural conversation.Animated movies and kid shows are perfect for beginners. The language is simple and visual aids help explain what's going on. As you improve, you can graduate to live-action shows and movies made for older kids and adults.I'm obsessed with the Disney movies Frozen and Moana right now. I've probably watched them a hundred times each! Pause the movie whenever you hear a new word or phrase and have your parents explain it to you.Play educational gamesLet's be honest - doing worksheets and grammar drills can get really boring after a while. When I start feeling fed up with textbook stuff, I switch to playing educational video games instead. There are so many awesome ones that make learning English feel like actual fun.My top picks are Reader Rabbit, JumpStart, and English Mega Kids games. They've got spelling games, sentence building activities, reading comprehension quizzes, and more. You can play them online or get the CD-ROM versions.Listen to kid-friendly music and podcastsListening to English audio is a fantastic way to train your ears to recognize words, pronunciations, and conversational phrases. Start with simple music and podcasts created especially for English learners. On Spotify Kids, there are nursery rhyme playlists, alphabet songs, and even made-up pop songs that repeat common vocabulary words. For podcasts, try "Six Minute Stories" and "Circle Round" - they're told in a nice, clear speaking voice. As you get more advanced, graduate to "real" kids' music and shows. I'm a huge fan of the soundtracks from movies like Frozen and The Greatest Showman!Practice speaking with friends and familyReading, watching, and listening are all great, but you also need to practice speaking English out loud as much as possible. It might feel scary at first, but keep trying - it's the only way to get better.Ask your parents, siblings, and friends to have simple conversations with you in English. You can narrate your day, describe favorite books/movies, or just chat about random things. Don't be afraid to make mistakes - that's how we learn! If you don't have many English speakers around you, try joining an online language learning club or finding a pen pal to write letters to. I love learning English because it's such a cool language and it opens up so many amazing opportunities. A lot of people think English is really hard, but I've figured out some great ways to make it easy and fun. Today, I want to share my top tips for learning English effectively.First up, reading is key! Reading books, comics, magazines –anything you can get your hands on in English is going to help a ton. When I first started reading in English, I'd read children's books with lots of pictures to help me understand. Then I moved on to longer chapter books. Reading didn't always feel productive at first, because there were so many words I didn't know. But my teacher said reading helps your brain get used to the flow and rhythm of English. The more you read, the easier it gets!If you get bored just reading plain books, try reading stuff you're really interested in – like comics about your favorite superheroes or magazine articles about sports or fashion. When you're reading about topics you love, you'll be way more motivated to keep going. I'm obsessed with fantasy novels about mythical creatures, so I've read a bunch of those. Getting hooked on an exciting story makes me forget I'm even practicing English!Another amazing way to learn is by listening to things in English as much as possible. I listen to English music, podcasts, TV shows and movies all the time. At first, I'd watch movies with subtitles in my native language to help me follow along. But after a while, I switched to English subtitles, and now I barely need them. Listening over and over trains your ear to recognize words, phrases and pronunciations. My favorite listening resources are audiobooks and podcasts for kids. The narrators speak slowly and clearly, which makes it easy to understand. There are loads of great free audiobooks online that you can listen to anywhere – while walking to school, doing chores or just hanging out. Podcasts are awesome too because they cover fun, interesting topics that make you want to keep listening. You can also look for language partners to practice conversational English with. Ask an English-speaking friend if they'd like to trade languages and meet up now and then. Or use apps and websites to find speaking partners from around the world to chat with via video call. I've made lots of new friends this way!Building up confidence to speak fearlessly is so important. Don't be afraid to make mistakes – that's how we learn! MyEnglish teacher is always saying "The more you use it, the more it improves." Whenever I'm too shy to speak up, I remind myself of that.Games and fun activities also make learning English easy. There are lots of cool apps with engaging word games, listening exercises, you name it. My favorites are the ones where you can earn points, collect rewards and compete with other players. I get so focused on winning that I hardly notice I'm practicing!English learning workbooks and flashcard apps are handy for building vocabulary too. I spend maybe 10-15 minutes a day quickly reviewing new vocab words and phrases. It's crazy how quickly they start sticking when you make a short daily habit of it.Those are my personal tips, but here's one last bonus tip: immerse yourself in English as much as possible! The more you surround yourself with the language, the faster it'll become second nature. Change your phone, computer and gaming console settings to English. Put sticky notes with new vocabulary words all over your room. Watch, listen, read and speak as much English as you can every single day.Learning a new language can feel overwhelming at first, but it's also exciting and rewarding. If you make it fun by focusing on the topics and activities YOU enjoy most, it'll never feel like achore. Just take it step-by-step and be patient with yourself. Before you know it, you'll be amazed by how well you can read, write, listen and speak in English! It opens up so many doors and allows you to connect with people all over the world.I'm still learning and improving my English every day, but I'm already so grateful for this skill. Being bilingual makes me feel proud, confident and super accomplished – like I can take on any challenge that comes my way. I hope these tips help you fall in love with learning English too. It's an incredible journey, so enjoy it! Let me know if you have any other questions.。

我学英语课的方法作文250字说明文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Learning English in My ClassMy name is Lily and I'm in 5th grade. In my school, we start learning English from 1st grade. I really enjoy my English classes! At first, it was pretty hard and everything sounded so strange. But now after several years, I've picked up lots of ways to practice and improve my English skills. Let me tell you about some of the methods we use in my English class. One of the main things we do is listen to stories, songs, and watch videos in English. My teacher says listening is super important for getting used to how English sounds. We have these really fun storybooks with cool pictures that my teacher reads out loud. Sometimes we sing along with little songs too. And we watch short cartoons or videos made for kids learning English. It's a nice way to pick up new words by hearing them over and over.We also spend time learning vocabulary through pictures, games, and activities. Like my teacher will hold up a flashcardwith a picture of an apple and we have to say the English word. Or we play memory games where we flip over cards and try to match the words and pictures. Sometimes we even act out words through charades which is hilarious! The more ways we interact with the new vocab, the better we seem to remember it.Probably my favorite part of English class is when we get to speak and have little conversations. We start by just repeating phrases after the teacher. But then we pair up and take turns asking and answering simple questions like "What's your name?" and "How old are you?" It feels silly at first but it really helps get our mouths used to making the sounds. As we get better, we move on to longer dialogues about our hobbies, families, etc. Speaking practice is tough but so satisfying when I can engage in a full conversation! We're also expected to do a decent amount of reading and writing activities for homework. We have little books with very simple stories that we read out loud to our parents. In the beginning, they're mostly pictures with a few words. But they get longer and more complex over time. For writing, we start by just trying to write the words and phrases we're learning. Then we gradually build up to putting together basic sentences and shortparagraphs. It's hard work but I can really see my skills improving from all the practice.Another major tool we use for learning is educational websites, videos, apps, and games. A lot of them are pretty fun and gamelike, with characters, animations, and rewards which make practicing feel more like playing. Some focus on vocab through matching games while others help with grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and other skills. We each get assigned different activities to do at home based on what we need to work on. The variety makes it more interesting than just doing worksheets. My English teacher uses tons of creative methods to make our lessons engaging. We sing chants and do hand motions to learn sentence patterns. We play hot potato tossing a ball around while practicing conversational basics. We put on little skits and make up funny stories together. Having that interactive, hands-on practice seems to really help the lessons stick in our brains. The classroom is pretty high energy with us kids moving around a lot instead of just sitting at our desks. One more thing I should mention is that my teacher is really positive and encouraging, which makes a big difference. When I first started, I was pretty shy about speaking out loud because Iwas worried I'd make mistakes and get laughed at. But my teacher reinforced that errors are just part of the learning process. She emphasized not being afraid to try, celebrated our efforts, and corrected us in a nice supportive way. Feeling safe to take risks without judgement has helped me gain a lot more confidence. There are probably some things I'm forgetting, but those are the main methods we use in my English class. Between all the listening, speaking, reading, writing, games, activities, and technological tools, we get a ton of practice in a really engaging way. English is honestly one of my favorite subjects now! I can't wait to keep improving so I can read awesome books, understand movies, travel to other countries, and make new friends. Who knows, maybe I'll even become an English teacher someday to pass on everything I've learned. But those are goals for the future. For now, I'm just happy improving my skills little by little each day.篇2My Methods for Learning EnglishHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I really enjoy learning English at school. It's a fun challenge and I likebeing able to understand English books, movies, and songs. I've been studying English since I was 6 years old. Over the years, I've developed some methods that have really helped me improve my English skills. Let me share them with you!First up, I try to practice English every single day, even if it's just for a little bit. My parents always say "practice makes perfect" and I totally agree! Every morning before school, I spend 15-20 minutes reviewing vocabulary words or doing an English activity book. It's a nice way to get my brain warmed up for my English class later in the day.In class, I make sure to pay really close attention and participate as much as I can. Whenever my teacher asks a question, I raise my hand to answer, even if I'm not 100% sure I'm right. Making mistakes helps me learn! I also ask questions whenever I'm confused about something. There's no such thing as a dumb question. After school, I like to watch English TV shows, movies, or video clips. I try to watch without subtitles as much as possible so I can practice listening comprehension. My favorite shows are animated because they use pretty simple vocabulary that I can understand. When I come across words I don't know, I write them down to look up later.Speaking English with others is super important for practice. Luckily, my best friend Sarah also studies English, so we can practice conversational skills together. We'll do fun roleplays where we pretend to order food at a restaurant or go shopping. It helps the words feel more natural rolling off our tongues.Whenever I'm feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I remind myself that learning a new language takes a lot of patience, determination, and passion. I know mastering English will open up a world of opportunities for me. So I try to find joy in the journey, one small success at a time. Someday I'll be able to write an essay this long without any help! But for now, I'll keep practicing my methods and having fun along the way.篇3My English Learning MethodsHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 10-year-old student who loves learning English. It's such an exciting language, and I've discovered some really fun ways to study it. Let me share my English learning methods with you!First and foremost, I try to make English a part of my everyday life. I know it might sound a bit boring, but trust me, it's not! One of my favorite things to do is listen to English songs. Ihave a playlist full of catchy tunes from all sorts of artists, like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Ariana Grande. Singing along helps me practice pronunciation and memorize new words without even realizing it!Another way I incorporate English into my daily routine is by watching shows and movies in English. I love animated films and series because the characters speak slowly and clearly, making it easier for me to understand. Whenever I come across a word or phrase I don't know, I write it down and look it up later. It's like a little scavenger hunt for vocabulary!Speaking of vocabulary, I have a special technique for learning new words. I create flashcards with the word on one side and a picture or definition on the other. Then, I turn them into a game! I spread the cards out and try to match the words with their corresponding images or meanings. It's a fun way to study, and it really helps the words stick in my mind. But my favorite way to practice English is by talking to my friends and family. My dad is from the United States, so he's a native English speaker. He's always happy to chat with me in English and correct my mistakes in a gentle way. Sometimes, we even have "English-only" days where we only communicate inEnglish, no matter what. It's challenging but incredibly rewarding!I also love to write stories and keep a journal in English. It's a great way to practice my grammar and sentence structure, and it allows me to express my thoughts and feelings in a creative way. Whenever I'm feeling stuck, I ask my English teacher for help or look up examples online.Last but not least, I try to make learning English as fun and engaging as possible. I play educational games, watch videos, and even create my own flashcards and quizzes. The more enjoyable the process is, the more motivated I am to keep learning and improving. So, there you have it – my English learning methods! It's all about making English a part of my everyday life, using various techniques to practice different skills, and most importantly, having fun with it. Learning a new language can be challenging, but with the right approach, it can also be an incredible adventure. I'm excited to see where my English journey will take me next!篇4My Journey to Learn EnglishHi there! My name is Emily and I'm in the 5th grade. Today I want to share with you all about how I've been learning English. It's been quite a fun adventure! When I was just a little kid, probably around 3 or 4 years old, my parents started teaching me some basic English words and phrases. They would point to things around the house and say the words in English - "table", "chair", "apple", "dog", and so on. It was like a little game we would play. Looking back, that really helped get me interested in the language from an early age. Then in preschool, we started having simple English lessons a couple times a week. We learned the alphabet, numbers, colors, and basic conversational phrases like "Hello, how are you?" and "Thank you." The teachers made it really fun by having us sing songs, play games, and use flashcards with pictures. That's when I started realizing English was actually quite easy and enjoyable to learn!Once I got to elementary school, the real work began. We have English class every single day for about an hour. The lessons follow a textbook, but my teachers are wonderful about making it interactive and engaging. We practice conversations, read stories, learn new vocabulary words, listen to audio recordings, and even watch short video clips sometimes.I particularly enjoy when we play games in small groups to reinforce what we've learned. My favorite is "Running Dictation" where one person runs to read a short paragraph, then runs back and dictates it to their teammates to write down. It's crazy but so much fun!At home, my parents have me do about 30 minutes of English homework each night. This usually involves reviewing vocabulary with flashcards, completing worksheets, or reading a few pages of an English storybook. I'll be honest, the homework isn't my favorite part. But I know it's important for solidifying what I've learned in class.I also try to supplement my learning through other activities.I love putting on English music or movies/shows and singing or reading along with the subtitles. There are also tons of great language learning apps and websites out there now with fun games and quizzes. Whenever I'm feeling stuck on a particular concept, I'll spend some time practicing it through one of those apps. The repetition and variety really help things click. One of the biggest aids to my English progress has been the English-speaking tutor I meet with once a week. We just have casual conversations about my interests, things I've done recently, or fun topics like dreams, sports, or make-believestories. Having to actively listen and speak is awesome practice. My tutor is really encouraging and helps correct any mistakes in a kind way.My top tips for other kids learning English would be:Immerse yourself through TV, music, books, games - whatever interests you! The more fun you have with it, the quicker you'll improve.Study a little bit each day through your homework, apps, or tutoring. Consistency is key.Don't be afraid to make mistakes. That's how we learn! Just keep trying.Be patient with yourself. Learning a new language takes tons of time and effort. With hard work and the right attitude, English can absolutely become your friend. I'm living proof! While it's definitely challenging at times, seeing my skills grow makes me feel so accomplished. Maybe I'll even become an English teacher someday so I can share the joy of language with others. For now, I'll just keep practicing every single day. Bit by bit, I'm getting there!篇5My Methods for Learning EnglishHi there! My name is Emily and I'm in 5th grade. I really enjoy learning English at school. At first, it was kind of hard because English is so different from Chinese. But now that I've been studying it for a few years, I've figured out some good methods that help me learn English better. Let me tell you about them!First of all, I try to read as much as I can in English. I read all the English stories and books my teacher gives us. I also like to read comic books, magazines, and easy novels in English when I can find them. Reading is great for learning new words and getting used to English sentence patterns. Whenever I come across words I don't know, I look them up in my dictionary and write them down to study later.Another thing I do is listen to English as much as possible. I watch cartoons and kids' movies in English. I also like listening to English songs and podcasts made for children. Listening over and over helps train my ear to the sounds and rhythms of English. Sometimes I'll listen to the same song 10 times until I can understand and sing along perfectly!Speaking English is super important too. I always raise my hand and answer questions in English class. At home, I like to narrate what I'm doing out loud in English to myself, like "Now I am brushing my teeth. Next, I will put on my pajamas." It feels silly at first, but it's great practice! I also make sure to speak in English with any English speakers I meet.Writing is one of the hardest parts of English for me, but I work really hard at it. I keep an English diary and write a new entry every week about anything I want. My teacher corrects my diary entries and helps me fix my mistakes. For bigger writing assignments, I start by making an outline in my native language to organize my thoughts. Then I translate my outline into English and expand it into a full essay or story, checking my dictionary for words I'm not sure about. Finally, one of my favorite methods is using English learning apps and websites made for kids. There are so many cool games, activities, videos, and more that make English fun. I spend at least 30 minutes every day on educational apps reinforcing what I've learned. Some of my favorites are Duolingo, English Central, and Fun English Study.English is a very difficult language, but using active methods like reading, listening, speaking, writing, and digital practiceevery single day has really helped me improve quickly. I'm sure if you try out some of my favorite techniques, your English skills will grow by leaps and bounds too! Just stick with it, study hard, and make it fun. You've got this!篇6How I Learn English in ClassLearning English is fun but also hard work. My English teacher gives us many activities to practice in class. Here are some of the ways I learn:We start each class by singing silly songs in English. The songs help me learn new words and remember phrases better. Singing makes it easier to practice the sounds and rhythms of English. My teacher also reads us storybooks in English. The books have beautiful pictures that help me understand what is happening. After reading, we act out the stories or make up new endings. Acting it out gets my whole body involved in using the language.Another way we practice is by playing games. Sometimes we play charades, where one student acts out a word or phrase, andwe have to guess what it is in English. Other times, we split into teams and go on "word hunts" around the classroom to find words that fit a certain category. We also spend time every day practicing conversations with partners. My teacher gives us situations to act out, like ordering food at a restaurant or introducing ourselves. I get nervous speaking English at first, but practicing little by little makes it easier.English class is my favorite part of the school day. The many different activities keep me engaged and help me improve my speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. I can't wait to become fluent!。

My Ways of Learning English Words
At college, the teachers of English always emphasize that we have to understand a new word or phrase in English, or try to paraphrase a new or phrase, sometimes even a sentence.
Learning new words in this way surely makes you understand them in a more precise way. However, what is the purpose of learning new words or rather English? I believe we learn English for the purpose of either communicating with foreigners or coping with work.
Therefore, understanding English words in English is enough to communicate but far from enough to handle work, especially work that requires translation.
I strongly recommend that we should comprehend English words not just in English but in Chinese as well.

Every time we encounter a new word, we should do these two steps. This will help us fully understand English words.。
