通过改变原有句子的结构来增加单选题的难度,是命题者用 常用的一种手段。解答这类试题,可采用“还原法”,即将改变
后的句子还原为本来的面目。如:通过把结构复杂的题干转换成
我们所熟悉的基本句型,就能打破思维定势,挖掘出题目的核心、 考点,从而快速找到正确答案。具体方法如下:

一、把握语境信息,理解命题意图 语境是指一定的语言环境。语法填空题所给的四个答 案选项中往往不止一个答案在语法上是正确的,但只有一 个答案符合试题所给的语境。能不能看破这个迷津,既取 决于我们的理解能力,同时也与我们的文学修养有关。语 法填空题的考查目的就是考查学生在特定语境中准确运用 语法知识的能力。好的考题中的语境设置往往十分自然、 巧妙,它要求我们选择的不只是正确答案,而是最佳答案, 因为语法上正确的答案不一定是实际生活交际中最得体、 最合适的答案。因此我们做题时,一定要找出字里行间中 的隐含信息,全面考虑,准确地把握语境内涵,有针对性 地分析语法成分,才能避免出错。

2012届高考英语二轮专题复习精品语法部分之定语从句定语从句是由先行词+关系代词/关系副词引导的从句构成。

所谓的先行词,其实就是汉语中被修饰的中心词。

我们称它为先行词,是因为它的位置跟汉语中的位置是不一样的。

一般来说汉语句子中喜欢把把作修饰的定语成分放在被修饰的中心词之前。

而英语中,如果是单个形容词修饰,可以放在中心词之前;如果是短语或句子(从句),则要放在他们所修饰的中心词之后,也就是说要后置。

也就是这样的结构,中心词+句子(作定语成分起修饰作用)。

入乡随俗,人家英国人对此有自己的称呼,“中心词”----先行词,因为放在修饰成分之前。

(先锋官);“句子(作定语成分起修饰作用)”,被称为定语从句。

先行词可以是单个名词,名词短语,或者是句子。

关系代词: that (表人, 表物,在从句中作主语或宾语);who (表人, 在从句中作主语);whom (表人, 在从句中作宾语)which (表物,在从句中作主语或宾语)whose (从句中作定语)关系副词: when (表时间); where(表地点)定语从句是复合句的一种。

复合句就是由两个或以上的句子组成,当然其中有组合规则,即所谓的语法规则。

2012届高考英语二轮专题复习精品语法部分之非谓语动词梳理通过对高考题单项填空题统计分析,发现近7年考查非谓语动词用法的题目260多题。

通过梳理高考考点并结合教学实际,笔者总结为10个考点,涉及非谓语动词的语法功能、时态和语态及否定用法、非谓语动词的特殊用法三个方面。

非谓语动词是动词的非谓语形式,包括动词不定式、动词的ing形式和动词的ed形式。

它不受人称和数的限制,但有时态和语态的变化,主动被动之分。

在选择时,要注意逻辑上的一致原则,即:非谓语动词的主语和主句句子的主语是否一致。

如不一致则需要在非谓语动词前加逻辑主语构成独立结构。

动词不定式的基本形式是“to+动词原形”。

他没有人称和数的变化,在句中可以做主语、表语、宾语、宾语补足语、定语和状语。

动词的ed形式,可以在句中做表语、定语、宾语补足语、状语。

动词的ing形式,可以在句中做主语、表语、定语、宾语、宾语补足语、状语。

小结:动词的ed形式作定语时,通常与先行词之间是被动关系,表示已完成的动作。

2. 宾语从句
名词句用作宾语的从句叫宾语从句。
引导宾语从句的关联词与引导主语从句表 语从句的关联词大致一样,在句中可以作 及物动词或介词及某些形容词的宾语。
1.由连接词that引导的宾语从句
连接词that引导宾语从句时,句中不担任任何成分,在口语或非 正式的文体中常被省去。但下面情况中不能省略。 (1)that一般不能充当介词宾语,但except,in的宾语。如: He is a good student except that he is a little bit careless. 他是个好学生,就是有点粗心。 其他介词后面需要用that从句作宾语时,必须用it作形式宾语。如: You may depend on it that I shall always help you. 你要相信我会一直帮助你的。

词形转换是高考语法填空的一个重点。在解答语法填空中词形转换 的相关题目时,一要根据空处在句中所作的成分确定词性:名词在句 中常作主语、宾语、表语或定语等,动词作谓语与非谓语,形容词作 表语、定语、补足语,副词作状语修饰动词、形容词、副词或整个句 子;二要根据标志词及语境确定比较级;三要根据名词前的数词、量 词、冠词等修饰语以及主谓一致原则来确定名词的单复数。
答案与解析:tasty 考查词性转换 空处与空前的形容词hot并列,修饰空后的 名词soup,故空处填形容词tasty。

【解题指导】 由于介词不能单独充当某一成分,所以 一般不会单一考查介词,而更多地是融合在语境或句型中, 在特定的语境中选用介词符合单项填空题“在具体的语境中 考查英语基础知识的运用”的命题思想。 因此做题时不能孤立 地局限于介词单方面的意义,而要全面理解试题的结构和句 意,在此基础上仔细辨析,作出最佳选择。平时的学习中, 要善于归纳、总结和积累,注意常用介词的基本用法和多义 性,区别近义介词在不同的语境中的不同含义。

【解题指导】 常用介词搭配在英语中极其丰富,意义 复杂多变。同一个介词可以与不同的动词、名词或形容词搭 配,表示不同的意思,反之,同一个动词、名词或形容词与 不同的介词搭配,也表示不同的意思。掌握这些搭配,对夯 实基础、提高英语水平大有裨益。要掌握这些搭配,关键是 看平时的积累,首先是理解不同介词的含义,其次要注意观 察、发现,并识记介词的各种搭配。
思路点拨:考查介词用法。句意:我同意他的建议,条 件是他放弃所有指控。介词 on 和 the condition that 一起相 当于一个连词,引导条件状语从句,意思是“条件是,以…… 为条件”。
