学生在做游戏的过程中,既玩得开心,又
轻轻松松复习和巩固了英语知识。
学生对学习英语的兴趣也会越来越浓,学习的主动性大大增强。
学生在游戏活动中获得了愉悦甚至兴奋的心情和体验,就会对学习产生兴趣,产生进一步学习的愿望和要求。
那么如何合理安排游戏,激发学生的学习兴趣呢?
一、创设愉悦环境,学生乐于学习
愉快教育就是通过创设愉悦的育人情境,提高教育教学效果的一种教书育人的思路。
它的实质是在愉快的教学气氛中更加有效地贯彻启发式的教育原则。
教师要创设一种愉快的教育氛围。
首先,必须自己保持愉快的心境;其次,教师不仅要有一颗爱心,还应当培养和保持一颗“童心”。
教师只有真诚地爱学生,面对学生时才会产生亲切感,形成自身愉快的教学心境和良好的教学情感。
学生们产生愉快的心理体验,就会对教师产生信任、亲切、尊敬和感激之情,进而产生师生共鸣,逐渐开启自己的心扉,心悦诚服地接受老师的教诲,从而做到“寓教于乐”,“学用结合”,“师生配合。
”和谐宽松的课堂气氛,可以使学生怀着轻松愉快的心情投入学习,自然而然就敢用英语大胆发言,积极思维。
因此,我们适当地把教室变成他们的活动场所,让他们自由地施展个性,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,学习内驱力自然逐步增强。
二、采用多种游戏,激发学生兴趣
1、学唱一首优美、动听的歌曲。
“音乐是人生最大的快乐”。
从中学生的心理特殊来讲,学生在唱歌时,随着旋律的起伏变化,在感到松弛、愉快、满足的同时,产生兴奋情绪。
因此将唱歌这种形式运用到中学英语教学中去,能大大提高学生学习英语的兴趣。
同时,人的心理机制表明,大脑左半球善于处理言词、数理、逻辑类的信息;右半球是记忆、识别文字和音乐旋律并进行模仿的中枢。
在英语教学中,很好地利用唱歌这种形式,可以将大脑的左半球的抽象思维功能与右半球的形象思维功能合二为一,从而增强学生的记忆力。
2、生动有趣的单词教学游戏。
中学英语教学中单词教学是必不可少的一个重要环节。
由于中学生贪玩,尤其是男同学,不愿把更多的精力花费在记忆单词上,我在教英语单词时,辅以各种游戏,主要是测试学生记忆如何。
要求每个学生自制大红花,老师为每大组准备大红星或者其他的小奖品,在单词游戏中获得胜利的大组奖大红星,对于个人胜利者奖红花和其他奖品,从而把单词教学贯穿到娱乐之中,使学生学起来不感到枯燥乏味,激发他们的学习兴趣,使他们每个人的学习才能得以充分发挥。
三、关心鼓励学生,增强学生的自信心
由于有些学生一开始基础较差,无法真正地参与到英语
课堂中所进行的各种游戏,由此要对学生关心,激发他们学习的动力。

当他们在游戏中获得胜利中,教师要在全班面前表扬他们,要多肯定他们做得好的地方并及时发现他们的闪光点,这样会使他们在心理上产生一种愉悦和成就感,使他们信心倍增。
当他们不敢融入游戏时,教师要常在学生讲“trust yourself”.“try your best”.“never give up”等等激烈话语,从而让学生走出胆怯、别扭而到自然、大方。
