This is the first period of Module 1.The important points are learning the new words and expressions of P1 and trying to understand can learn from the chants games and TPR.

II.Analysis of the teaching aims.

1.Be able to understand the new words and new expressions.

2.Be able to know the drills of asking age.

III. Teaching procedure.

1.Warming –up

1). Sing a birthday song to Miss Liao

2). Learn to read two chants

a .“My birthday” b. “Candle and candy”

2.Pre – task

1). Presentation (point to the candles on the cake)
