hello, everyone. i’m so glad to stand on this stage. let me introduce myself. my

name is christine, from nanya middle school. today, my speech theme is smile, how

warm the word is!

a saying goes “life is a mirror. if you smile to it, it will smile to you.”

smile is a kind of attitude to our life. if we are optimistic, we will have a happy

life.

smile is also a kind of language which cannot be heard by anyone, but people always

know its meaning. even though smile is an expression, it can make you feel warm.

everyone needs others’ smile. smile is a symbol of happy. everyone has bad days all his or her life. if you are one of the close friend

to smile, you can smile at your bad day. everything will be okay. because smile is

the best friend to you. smile can help you cross over every difficults. smile isn’t just for the relatives,lovers or friends, even for stangers. for

example, in school, if you don’t know where the classroom is, other students will

give you a smile and tell you. and in if there wasn’t smile, there wouldn’t have happiness or other beautiful things.

everybody needs smile, doesn’t they? tagore said:”let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn

leaves.” flowers often smile and they always use their best attitude to do everything

in their daily life. so we have to study their attitude. in a word,smile can change our life. if you can smile at you life, the god will

stage. my topic today is that there is a treasure called smile. there is a beautiful poem that says: life is like a mirror, when you smile, people

will smile back. when you treat other people kindly, they will treat you kindly in

return. and it’s also said that before going out every day, smile to yourself in

the mirror will make you a good mood all day. so, did you smile today?

②smile is a treasure. it’s worth a million dollars, but it doesn’t cost a cent. we wanna smile, from the information i got, research have shown that smiling can

make us both physically and psychologically relaxed, healthy, and how it works. ③

here’s a story about mr. stanley, a man in broadway, who wanted to change himself.

④mr. stanley was very depressed, he never smiles to anybody. he has been married

for 18 years, and during that time, from time getting up to going to work every morning,

he rarely smiled to his wife or said any words. he never smiles, even to himself.

he had thought that he was the most worried people in broadway. he was dying to change

the situation. three weeks ago, stanley attended continued-education training

classes, he was asked to give a presentation about the importance of smile. then,

he made up his mind to try to smile maybe only for a week.
