What:本文主要讲述了主人公遇到的意外事件,其中包括211恐怖袭击事件以及航班延误事件。经历过这样变化作者的心态变化。
Why:3a引导学生阅读了解211双子楼遭遇恐怖袭击事件和10年后作者晚起却发现飞机延误了的情况。掌握3b词汇的运用,3b通过造句的方式加强学生的基础词汇的掌握。3c的复述环节可以加强学生对于阅读文本的熟悉。

教学反思:
本单元Topic“unexpected things”,要求学生学会用“By the time/when+从句,I had already done sth”阅读故事发生的先后顺序表达,使学生学习并掌握过去完成时态的结构和用法;在进行语言实践的同时,既有难忘尴尬的经历又有幽默风趣的故事,容易引起共鸣,进一步让学生体会人生中有很多事情是值得回忆的。
