Unit 2 Last weekend单元教材及学情分析本单元的教学重点是运用一般过去时态来描述过去所做的事情,主要句型:What did you do last weekend/last night? I cleaned my room. I stayed at home. Did you like it? Yes, I did./No, I didn't. 在前面学生已经掌握了一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时的用法,本单元建议给学生创设真实的情景并组织有意义的活动来展开一般过去时的教学。

教师应在已有的基础上设计活动,以旧引新,把学生自然地带入一般过去时的情景中, 避免过度强调语法。

教师可以让学生通过朗读例词和完成单词与图连线的活动初步建立单词的音、形、义之间的联系。

本部分教学教师要引导学生仔细听录音,通过模仿、观察等手段认读单词,让学生多听录音,跟录音读单词,再完成相关练习。

本单元Readand write 和Story time 将A、B 部分出现的基本语言巧妙地编入故事中,让学生在情景中领会本单元的重点知识,同时渗透了德育教育,又因高年级的学生已经掌握了较多的词汇,教师可以充分利用这一材料,通过让学生分角色表演、故事复述等活动来组织教学。

六年级同学基础好,在一般现在时态的基础上展示一般过去时态,学生更容易接受。

单元教学目标1.知识目标(1)能够听、说、读、写本单元A、B 部分中的过去式单词,如: cleaned, stayed, washed, watched, had, slept, read, saw 等。

(2)能够掌握句型How was your weekend?What did you do last weekend?及其答句。

4.整体阅读,理解课文内容,完成练习:Find the sentences that describe Pictures 1-3。

在描述中解决句子中重难点单词的学习:fixed, broken, wanted, lamp ,got, hotel, tasted , listened, loud 。

【设计意图】此环节在完成阅读任务的同时,解决部分重难点单词的学习,本节阅读课中部分动词过去式的读音是需要强调的一个内容。

5. Group work.
Read the comments and find out the words and sentences that you don’t read or understand.
Then discuss in your group.
【设计意图】此环节通过小组的交流合作,解决阅读中的疑难问题,引导学生自主学习。
