(3). 连接代词who(m), whose, which, what 等,均有各自的意义,在从句中作主语、宾语、定语等。

1. 主语从句。

2. 宾语从句。

像“I don't know where he is.”(我不知道他在哪里),“where he is”就是宾语从句,它是“know”这个动词的宾语。

如果一个句子里,动词或者介词后面跟着一个句子,那大概率就是宾语从句喽。

3. 表语从句。

表语从句呢,是在系动词后面的从句。

比如说“The problem is how we can solve it.”(问题是我们如何能解决它),“how we can solve it”就是表语从句,它跟在系动词“is”后面,用来解释说明主语“the problem”的情况。

当你看到系动词后面跟着一个句子的时候,就可以想到表语从句啦。

4. 同位语从句。

同位语从句是用来解释说明前面的名词的,它和那个名词是同等地位的哦。

例如“The news that he won the game made us excited.”(他赢得比赛的这个消息让我们很兴奋),“that he won the game”就是同位语从句,用来解释“the news”到底是什么内容。

一般同位语从句前面的名词都是一些抽象的名词,像news(消息)、idea(想法)之类的,后面跟着一个句子来详细解释这个名词,那就是同位语从句啦。

主要分类 从句不能单独成句,但它也有主语部分和谓语部分,是⼀个特殊句⼦,就像⼀个句⼦⼀样。

所不同在于,从句须由⼀个关联词(connective)引导。

根据从句语法功能的不同可分为:主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语从句、定语从句和状语从句6类。

前四类由于主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句及同位语从句在句⼦的功⽤相当于名词,所以通称名词性从句;定语从句功能相当于形容词,称为形容词性从句;⽽状语从句功能相当于副词,称为副词性从句。

状语从句还可以分为条件状语从句、原因状语从句、地点状语从句、⽬的状语从句、让步状语从句、⽐较状语从句、⽅式状语从句、结果状语从句和时间状语从句。

1.主语从句(SubjectClause):⽤作主语的从句叫主语从句。

引导主语从句的关联词有从属连词、疑问代词、疑问副词、缩合连接代词、缩合连接副词等。

2.表语从句(PredicativeClause):⽤作表语的从句叫表语从句。

引导表语从句的关联词与引导主语从句的关联词很多都⼀样。

3.宾语从句(ObjectClause):在句⼦中起宾语作⽤的从句叫做宾语从句.宾语从句分为三类:动词的宾语从句、介词的宾语从句和形容词的宾语从句。

4.同位语从句是名词性从句(主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语从句)中的主要从句之⼀,从句作同位语表⽰与之同位的名词(短语)的实际内容,它的作⽤相当于名词,对前⾯的名词(短语)加以补充说明或进⼀步解释,相当于⼀个表语从句,它们之间的关系是同位关系,即主表关系。

5.定语从句是由关系代词或关系副词引导的从句,其作⽤是作定语修饰主句的某个名词性成分,相当于形容词,所以⼜称为形容词性从句,⼀般紧跟在它所修饰的先⾏词后⾯。

名词性从句包括主语从句,宾语从句,表语从句和同位语从句及there be句型。

定语从句是由关系代词和关系副词引导的从句,其作用是作定语修饰主句的某个成分,定语从句分为限定性和非限定性从句两种。

状语从句分为时间状语从句,结果状语从句,让步状语从句,原因状语从句,条件状语从句以及行为方式状语从句。

名词性从句名词性从句相当于名词,可分别作主句的主语、表语、宾语和同位语。

因此,名词性从句厅分为主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句和同位从句。

Ộ引导名词性从句的连接词1、连接代词:who, whose, whom, what, which。

有词义,在从句中担任成分,如主语、表语、宾语、或定语等。

2、连接副词:when, where, why, how。

有词义,在从句中担任成分,作状语。

3、连接词:that, whether, if, as if。

that 无词义,在从句中不担任成分,有时可省略;if (whether), as if虽有词义,但在从句中不担任成分。

注意:连接代词与连接副词在句中不再是疑问句,因而从句中谓语不用疑问式。

连接代词与连接副词在从句充当句子成分,连接词whether 和if(是否),as if(好象)在从句中不充当句子成分,只起连接作用。

根据句义,如果连接代词与连接副词,whether、if 和as if都用不上时,才用that作连接词(that本身无任何含义)。

一、主语从句1、主语从句在复合句作主语。

e.g. Who will go is not important. 2、用it作形式主语,主语从句放在句末。

e.g. It doesn’t matter so much whether you will come or not. 3、that引导主语从句时,不能省略。

e.g. That he suddenly fell ill last week made us surprised.二、表语从句1、表语从句在复合句中作表语,位于系动词之后。

e.g. The question was who could go there.2、引导表语从句的连接词that有时可省去。

e.g. My idea is (that) we can get more comrades to help in the work.三、宾语从句1、宾语从句在复合句中作宾语。

引导宾语从句的连词that一般可省略。

e.g. I hope (that) everything is all right.2、介词之后的宾语从句,不可用which或if连接,要分别用what或whether。

e.g. I’m interested in whether you’ve finished the work.. I’m interested in what you’ve said.3、whether与if都可以引导宾语从句,常可互换。

但下面情况不能互换。

①宾语从句是否定句时,只用if,不用whether。

e.g. I wonder if it doesn’t rain. ②用if 会引起误解,就要用whether。

e.g. Please let me know whether you want to go.(此句如果把whether改成if,容易当成条件句理解)③宾语从句中的whether 与or not直接连用,就不能换成if;不直接连用,可换。

e.g. I don’t know whether or not the report is true. I don’t know whether/ if the report is true or not. ④介词后的宾语从句要用whether引导。

whether 可与不定式连用。

whether也可引导主语从句、表语从句、同位语从句,还可引导让步状语从句,以上均不能换成if。

但引导条件从句时,只能用if,而不能用whether。

e.g. It depends on whether we have enough time.They don’t know whether to go there. Please come to see me if you have time.四、同位语从句同位语从句在句中作某一名词的同位语,一般位于该名词(如:news, fact, idea, suggestion, promise等)之后,说明该名词的具体内容。
