Educational Practice and Research《义务教育英语课程标准（2022年版）》（以下简称《课标》）在课程实施的教学建议中明确提出“秉持英语学习活动观组织和实施教学”。
英语学习活动观可以有效改变目前英语阅读教学中存在的重知识轻能力、重语言轻思维的现象，以及阅读过程模式化、阅读理解表层化、阅读收获碎片化的问题。
《标准》指出教学设计与实施要以主题为引领，以语篇为依托，通过学习理解、应用实践和迁移创新等活动，引导学生整合性地学习语言知识和文化知识，进而运用所学知识、技能和策略，围绕主题表达个人观点和态度，解决真实问题，达到在教学中培养学生核心素养的目的。

Step 3 While-reading.
Students read the passage for the first time quickly and find the three talent shows. At the same time, they also should find the following sentences true or false.
